Darth Wayne: If you are talking about the gold square on the bottom of Wayne Tower, the only way I could get there was to upgrade Wonder Woman's invisible jet to the second upgrade as it can destroy gold objects. None of the characters (like Cyborg of Venkman) were able to destroy it for me. I was going to wait until Superman came out but ended up obsessively needing the gold brick. Ha

Dimensions is got me into watching and becoming a huge fan of Doctor Who, too, and I greatly enjoyed the Dalek Extermination of Earth and Doctor Who's involvement in the outcome of the game. Plus, having a physical LEGO Doctor Who and sonic screwdriver is a terrific! I am looking forward to the mid-March release of the next wave - Midway Arcade and Aquaman will help rack up the remaining gold bricks (at least until Slimer) and Superman and Stay Puft will wonderful minifigures to add to the collection. I am anxious to see what the Midway Arcade level and world will be like....

About the Jurassic Adventure World: I felt the same way you did, rob-ot5000. That Adventure World simply had no dinosaurs. Made no sense. It looks to me like, through a few updates, they have added some dinos and, perhaps my memory is failing, but flowers and things around trees (made getting the stud meter full easier this time). I hope that TTGames continues to update all of the Adventure Worlds with each update!

I like so many of the Adventure Worlds. The Doctor Who Adventure World is the only one that I have collected everything. The Wizard of Oz World is so cool to me. Back To The Future and Ghostbusters (and Scooby) are full of nostalgia. TTGames has just done a fantastic job with all of them...

As Actor Builder said, it's really about what appeals to you. I like the Doc Brown from the fun pack a lot so he goes with my Ideas DeLorean. The Doctor in the Doctor Who Level Pack has a different outfit than the one in the Ideas set, so it just depends (although I added K-9 to my Ideas TARDIS set - same with a Cyberman head for Handles...)
-
I enjoyed both the Ghostbusters and Portal packs a lot. Haven't done very much with the Portal Adventure World yet, but sounds like some fun ahead for you, Starscream!
-
8BrickMario, I agree with you that the Phase 2 packs will have to extend the story (while also adding new franchises to the game [one of my hopes is that TT Games will continue to update the existing Adventure Worlds while bringing in new Adventure Worlds]). For those of us that have finished the story mode of the game, there was that "cliffhanger" scene so I believe the game will continue down that road. The idea of additional keystones is great (would love to be smart enough to figure out what they will be!) and being able to add to our portal would be fun. I'm still going through trying to get gold brick (up to 313 at this point) so I still have a ways to go. Really looking forward to Waves 4 and 5 and the announcemnt of the next step in Dimensions!

Hmmm. I will have to go back and look but I thought they all had their correct hair from the Ghostbusters HQ set... And to switch between Ghostbusters, you hold (on the Xbox) the Y button down and it will cycle through them and you can choose to play as one of the four.

DC Super Heroes - 76052 Batmanâ„¢ Classic TV Series - Batcave
CommishGordon replied to CopMike's topic in LEGO Licensed
Captain Nemo, I agree that the physical figures are off just a little (mostly because you cannot see their eyes when they are wearing their masks - which is quite unlike the '60s show). I really like the set and hope to purchase it, however, my only gripe with it really is The Penguin. Other than the newly colored top hat, it is the exact same Penguin face and torso from the Arkham Asylum set. Burgess Meredith as The Penguin was my absolute favorite from the television show and I am disappointed that they didn't model the minifigure after his look. -
8BrickMario, Hulk_Smash is right. Once you get to Skaro and are able to use the TARDIS platform there, you will be able to travel to the correct time period and do the things past the closed gate. Took me a little while to figure that one out.

I believe Owen can dig too once he completes the tracking but Scooby can do it underwater, which makes him doubly useful. I am still greatly enjoying the game and looking forward to the release of the next wave.

DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion
CommishGordon replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think the set looks great! I'm a huge fan of the 1966 Batman series and this is very exciting to me! I understand the concern about not having Batgirl, but she wasn't part of the show until it's 3rd season - so a 1966 Batcave would not have included her anyway.- 8446 replies

My only thought on the Cyberman vs. Unikitty packs is that the Cyberman offers a lot of abilities (mind control, drone, etc.) whereas Unikitty is the only character able to break and build rainbow bricks. I also suppose it depends if you are more of a fan of one of the brands over the other, too.
-
stephen1983, that is a mission in The LEGO Movie Adventure World and Hulk_Smash is exactly correct: can do the mission over again but will not receive another gold brick (only studs).

What Video Game(s) are you playing?
CommishGordon replied to Lego Spy's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Been playing Batman: Arkham Knight (challenge modes), LEGO Dimensions (going after minikits and gold bricks), Rise of the Tomb Raider (story), and Star Wars: Battlefront. Keep going from one to the other at this point. -
SpiderSpaceman: if you are looking for a character that generates electricity, the ACU Trooper does that in the Jurassic World team pack (sounded liked you are getting that one). And regarding Unikitty - I was going to pass on her but then I realized that she is the only one that can break apart rainbow LEGO bricks.... Long story short - she is now in my collection. Hope you enjoy the game as much as I have!

I just have to say that LEGO Dimensions just makes me smile. I just finished the Simpsons level pack add-on and, I'm not even a huge Simpsons fan, but the care and detail was so much fun. Although I have finished the story, I have so much more to do and cannot wait until the Doctor Who expansion pack is released!

What is your latest Licensed purchase?
CommishGordon replied to Themadpatter's topic in LEGO Licensed
To JPN366, the Batboat actually turned out to be better than I thought (I mostly wanted the set for Deathstroke and Robin). I like the command center aspect to the boat; Deathstroke's craft isn't really much of anything, though. I really like Black Manta and his sub and the Batmobile in the Riddler chase set is my favorite one so far. -
