Some other pictures of the new colour crocogator also show a new colour for the baby crocogator! I think it's a sand green? But a little hard to tell. Could be included with the adult the $20 set (or a different set entirely)!

Previous set descriptions said they came in the same set.

Crows/ravens, cool! Now only in all black please!
and next year please pigeons. We need lots of pigeons. As for other birds we need, maybe geese (for in parks and castle stuff), vultures, kingfishers, herons/storks/crane, hummingbirds and a dodo.

We shall christen it the ‘Craven’, in keeping with the existing ‘Crocagator’

LOVE the new craven mould. Hope it’s not too long before we get it in all black. That said, I quite like the dual moulded trans pink, weirdly …

Raven looks great, like said above hopefully we see it in all black soon.

That small animal body already on PAB I think.

Wait what? I thought thier names printed on bases, my bad.

So there are no printed bases for both non-licensed and licensed CMF Series then?

Team GB had printed bases, TLBM series 2 did, and Disney 100 series … isn’t that all?

Granted, it could be removable, but I doubt they‘d introduce a new hairpiece so similar to the existing one, just with an accessory hole :shrug_oh_well: Then again, they did just that with the Phase 2 Clonetrooper helmets

And the party cake guy from S18

That’s ok! I just love colleing every single from non-licensed CMF Series. I rarely collect minifigures from licensed CMF seires (other than the completed Muppet Series). I am very interested in a dragon mold in D&D CMF Series, that’s it. I collected a few minifigures from Mavel Series 2 becuase of smowl and fish tank.

I don’t mind prehistoric, present-day, fantasy, alien, and robotic creatures!

But the D&D series also has recoloured puppy, rat and small bird!

  7. Pic of Space CMF leaflet has surfaced - what we thought was a ‘normal’ French Bulldog recolour seems to have weird eyes & tusks 🤷🏽‍♂️

Correction - seems to be a robot dog, not tusks

Ok, I don't need to say which animal rocks most and that I'll get a bunch of them... soon you can call me 94Gorillas 🤣

The crocodile seems to be a recolour, doesn't it? May I ask if the new Upper Jaw piece is compatible with crocodile bodies? If so I will use the new upper jaw piece for the 2017 TLBM Killer Croc

That’s the same crocagator we have had for a few years. Exists already in dark green, green & tan, and made up of three body parts plus a connector pin. They’re not interchangeable with the old classic croc though.

Also, you’re not supposed to have favourites 🦍

Just gone back through the set lists and it seems likely that the gorillas will appear in the $100 set with the jungle base and helicopter. I don't need another City rescue helicopter at all, so Pick a Brick is probably the way forward. Just got my polar bear and cubs order in last week for similar reasons. What's the smallest sensible number for a troop of gorillas? It's going to be expensive!

Only issue with this is if the gorilla body and arms are sold separately … it’s a pain and often a problem to get all the parts in stock, plus it rockets up the £££

    Looks like it I think:sweet:

What big cat are the tail in the picture from?

Saw that too! My thought was that it might be the old tiger that they had for comparison. Or maybe we are getting something else?

Where did you see pic of gorilla and their infant/

It’s on Instagram. Not a great pic, especially as they’re black!

I love how the adult gorilla is designed with studs on the back so the baby can ride it. That’s such a lovely little detail.

Also just better if adult animals have a stud or studs on the back

The crocodile, tiger and gorillas look like the real animals but the red panda looks like a stuffed animal.

I’m also interested to see if we get any small animals like spiders, snakes, parrots or chameleons.

They have to make some choices re the colours - Playmobil red pandas suffer the same

Both the gorillas (adult + baby) leaked! They look so good!! TLG have really been outdoing themselves with new animal pieces in the last coupla years!

OMG that baby gorilla is adorable. Can’t quite make out from the pic - but do we know if the adult has articulated arms? 🦍

I just got home from my vacation in Japan and I saw some comments here about triple-molded red panda.  Man, that sounds so cool!

….Did I see soemoen wishing for a sheep?

Doe a tiger have stripes down its studded back?

Doesn’t look like it, but hard to tell from the photo we have seen  - definitely an upgrade on the existing tiger though!

It is triple moulded, there's an upside down one is the picture and they wouldn't bother to paint the inside. Though maybe the black feet are just painted?

I’d agree with triple moulded. The new animals look great!

I think it is olive green..

Great to see that City still give us the good stuff after the animal disappointment in MTS:sweet:
All 3 animals look great, but still have a small hope for a tiger cub as well (seems like a wasted opportunity not to give us one now)
Is there only 1 red panda in the battle-pack, after the seals that would be a step in the wrong direction, but the mould looks fantastic at least?

I think if tiger cub/s don’t appear in these sets, there’s a good chance they will follow along soon somehow - in a small set or CMF or something. That’s how they did it with the ‘baby croc’, and foal etc

I don't care what anyone else says, that lil guy still counts as a wolf to me

(Oh, and the dragon would go quite well with Norbera and Riyu)

Yes - that’s a baby wolf for me too.

All three of the new dragons across themes are adorable

-assuming- that link is pretty accurate, what do we think about the new printed wee bird? I don’t know if it’s specifically supposed to be anything in particular, but it seems pretty close to some sparrow species for me, and also reminiscent of a goldcrest, even if the head colours are a bit wrong.

Personally I’m fine with either specific species printing or some sort of loose version that we can interpret ourselves, providing it’s ‘realistic’ enough.

Not a fan of red eyes on the rat, or generally any of the tropes to make animals ‘evil’, but it’s nice to see a recoloured rat at last.

Preliminary renders of the D&D cmf have leaked on instagram.

No new regular animal molds, but we’ve got the rat in black (with red eyes), the songbird in dark tan (I think) with printed markings beyond the typical eyes and beak, and the shepherd puppy in dark grey with a lighter muzzle.

The mini red dragon looks amazing too!

Still not sure how legit these are, but if they are accurate - then they’re fantastic!

The 2023 exploration sets had a mix of arctic and ocean exploration, and the setting of the ship was only determined by the orca and cold-weather hats (and box art). Something similar may be happening with the upcoming jungle wave, especially since the vehicles will have the same dark blue/orange colour scheme (with olive green taking the place of medium azure).

Yeah I get that, but it doesn’t make much sense with the notion that the jungle sets ‘combine’, as we have been told 💁🏽‍♂️

  16. 56 minutes ago, Classic_Spaceman said:

Maybe, but LEGO has been following the trend of adult + juvenile when it comes to introducing new animals (and giving us adult and cub versions of the sea turtle and polar bear to go with the respective existing moulds).

Plus the croc & gorilla get the adults & baby treatment here, so …

There’s an outside chance that there may be a new head mould for the adult tiger, which I think isn’t needed. Have also been wondering how possible it is to print stripes on the big cat cub, as they struggled a little with spots and stripes on the adult ones.

  17. Yeah it seems to be one type of animal per set, with no notable antagonist - but there might be something like snakes or birds that just haven’t been reported. As ever it’s hard to know what the people reporting on the sets know, or indeed what they care to pass on!

Would seem to be a shift from the last three years of sets with multiple animals (Africa, farm, ocean) … and actually be closer to how Playmobil markets sets with an animal family 💁🏽‍♂️
