    Thanks, glad you like it! The colour is intentional, as I feel it represents the newer pneumatic hoses better than the more matte rubber colour of older hoses. Thanks for pointing out the unused sub-model, it has been deleted now! I think The model has been approved by Rebrickable, so full parts list (fewer parts than I thought) and everything one should need can be found there. Blakbird has also just made a couple of his famous awesomerenders for this model, here are a couple of them, see them in all their glory in his Bricksafe folder

    On the box, the picture of the small cylinder seems a bit different from the current ones. All the cylinders seem to have a slightly different/longer "head" than the current ones? A quick stud count confirms that you are right, at least the cabin seems to be (one 3x11 panel flanked by a couple of #3 and #4 panels)

    Got an e-mail about this yesterday, looks pretty nice! And you're complaining about 75*50 states = 3750 models for one country whereas Europe gets 250 for the entire continent?!?

    Sorry for late reply, didn't see you there No, it is not supposed to be any particular brand, but colour-wise Liebherr might spring to mind.. I was inspired by several models from browsing the CranesEtcTV YouTube channel, amongst others the Case CX240B MH and misc. Sennebogen and Liebherr machines Anyway, I have now redesigned the chassis and made a better digital file. The dozer blade is now operated by a small LA instead of pneumatics, as I found it was too easy to spin the superstructure too many times, therby tangling the pneumatic hose going through the turntable. The new LDraw file is fully stepped, with reasonable submodels (arm, dipper, chassis, superstructure, etc), so anyone wanting to give it a go should be able to build it fairly easily. I highly reccommend using LDcad for the build process, maybe in conjunction with LPub (for parts callout). LDcad will let you go through the file step by step, while allowing you to rotate and inspect the model from every angle. Also it gives you the lengtht might give an approximate length of the pneumatic hoses. It might be a good idea to change the colour of the hoses to see where they go There shouldn't be any rare parts here, except for the two, long, old cylinders. Later this summer, when the 42043 is released, I will do an updated version of this MOC, using the new cylinders The digital file can be downloaded here. It is built as an excavator, but the material grab is included as a submodel. EDIT: I will try to add it to rebrickable in not too long

    Pipasseyoyo does indeed have some of the coolest Technic MOCs out there IMO. The suspension on his 8x8 dump truck is simply brilliant! I built the rear suspension from an LDD file on his brickshelf for use on a 6x6 hauler, and it worked flawlessly

    I'm thinking the new long 1x1 cylinder from the upcoming 42043 Arocs will open up a new world of possibilities for MOCs in this scale to be modelled both aesthetically and functionally accurate!

    That pretty much sums up my reaction to seeing the cutaway as well! I like it very much technically, but you seem to have a case of too small wheels syndrome going for you I imagine it would be perfect scale for the wheels from 42024 container truck, but the wheel arches and distance between axles would have to be redesigned Overall very impressive! At first glance I was more like, meh, but the gear setup pretty much places it in a league of its own in this scale!

    It looks very nice! Is there enough friction in the arm joints to pose it, or does it have to rest on something?

    Hi roland, thanks for a great piece of software! I have a small problem; I accidentally edited the template for the flexible 9V cable, and proceded to (again accidentally) delete it within the template somehow. It still shows up in the list, but it's "empty." Is there a way to reset this to default? Here is a picture that shows what it looks like I tried uninstalling and reinstalling LDcad, that didn't work.. Will I maybe need to reinstall all things LDraw?

    Wow, looks pretty spectacular, and very orange! My guess is that the blacked out "windows" is there to hide the RC unit inside (ref the antenna). Being a very big and bulky piece, it is difficult to make space for a decent interior. I had the same problem when I made my "GT" version of Madoca's supercar

    You're probably right, haven't really checked the prices in a long time, just remember they were quite expensive.. And yes, I was thinking selling it as a complete set, as I don't think it would be owrth the time and effort for someone not selling bricklink on bricklink on a regular basis to part it out and sell piece by piece
