That's a lovely carriage. I like the ducket on the side is a nice touch and the interior is very nicely detailed too. Good job!

I am loving these new sets! The Grievous wheel bike is my personal favorite along with the vulture droid. Definite design improvements on them. Not sure what to say about the new blasters other than I'll save any opinions until I actually try them.

Oh this is great! I LOVED that book as a kid. The bucket looks fantastic. Now it must have been my imagination but I could have sworn the boiler was on the side of the cab for some reason. Thank you Google images.

It's nice to see someone else give this a try, Steven. I actually started recreating this accident in LEGO a few years back and It's still a WIP for me. I got all but the other half of the station completed. I can't wait to see how yours turns out. :)

Part of a larger MOC I'm working on from the 1997 animated film, "Anastasia". The engine here is a WIP and just about done with a few additional details needed. I'm also thinking of how to improve the side rods. For those who haven't seen the film the movies villain sends his winged minions to sabotage the train, Anastasia and her friends are traveling on. More of the rest of the train will be posted once completed as well as the entire scene. Cheers! ~Caleb

Thanks, I used part 91049 minifig barbell weight from the collectible minifig series 2. I would recommend watching the movie, I think it's one of Don Bluths better films.

Well, LEGO is back in the news. I'm not sure how old this story is but it appeared today on my news feed on Yahoo. I really don't know what to say about this one. http://gma.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blogs/lego-apologizes-cat-calling-sticker-120924275.html LEGO has apparently issued an apology over a series of stickers one of which features a construction worker shouting "HEY BABE!" or "cat-calling" as it's referred to. The stickers have long been discontinued but the issue has been brought up again. I'm curious to hear what you all think. Personally I think it's a bit ridiculous and some people may be overreacting... but that's just me. What say you?

I can. I have multiple cables which have the rubbery wire you describe which came from the more recent 9v sets whereas I have one copy of the other which came from the oldest 9v set I own. The latter cables are also thinner than the newer cables I've noticed as well.

From the sounds of it, there's a short occurring somewhere on the track. You mentioned the track to regulator wire has a tear in it, are any of those metal wires damaged?

I love it! I'll admit I probably won't get it (saving money for current projects) but it would be nice to own a UCS X-Wing since I missed out on the first one when I first started collecting LEGO Star Wars. I love the little details such as the ice picks used for the engine intakes.

Interesting to note is this pic taken from LEGO Discovery Center in Grapevine, Texas. They used what appears to be HO scale track and train wheels, everything else is LEGO. I've never seen this done before and the train looks really good too.
