    [MOC] RC Siemens Taurus

Hi everyone! I chose a very well-known theme for my newest MOC. Almost everyone has a Lego Siemens Taurus at home :D . If you search for it on the net, the number of the matches will be endless. We can find every building method and technique in them. But I guess, I successfully found out new solutions to copy the real one! The engine works with two M-motors. The gear ratio is 1:1,667. Hope you like it! Video: During the scenes with the real Lego track there is a slower version, I changed the gears after making them. The scenes on the yellow brickbuilt track show the faster speed. Pictures: Detailes: The model and the real one have the round and the square hole, too! The overall shape of this section is also similar to the real one, because of the upside-down 1x2 slope. The section of the door has two interesting techniques. Behind the door there is an old 3 brick high panel (without side supports). It prevents the black tiles (the handles) to be at the same plane as the door. Most of the MOCs and official Lego sets use 1x1 plates with vertical clip to fix the bars (handrails). But the distance is too big between the wall and the bar. I used this part. Behind the wall the previously mentioned 1x1 plate holds it. The bars touche the wall, there's no gap between them. Many of the older Taurus models don't have good side-windows. The builders often used stickers. But my windows contains olny Lego pieces. Technical things: The engine contains two M-motors, an AAA battery box, an IR receiver and a short extension wire. The chassis is made of thechnic bricks, and I used 16 studs to fix the body on it. Between the chassis and the bogies there are the smaller versions of technic turntables. The bogies are selfmade, I used more than 160-160 elements for them. I'm not ready with the LDD file, but I think the whole model contains approx 1400. Thanks for watching!

    MOC: Rua Amarelo

Very, very cool buildings! I especially like the pedestrian area around them! Really great solution, if someone wants to use tiles, but wants to fix minifigs on it, too!
  3. Really nice work! I especially like the bench! The two buildings looks great together!

Thanks everyone, I'm glad you like it! I was very happy when I found out this technique with the panels. @paul_delahaye: You are right about the lights, next time, if I build a ship, I will pay attention to it! Thanks! @ER0L: Thanks my friend! Soon I will upload it to Flickr, too and it will go to the LEGO Yacht Club with me on the deck! She hasn't got a name yet, I'll give her a name, if I start my journey around the world with she!

    [MOC] RC Siemens Taurus

Thanks for the kind comments! I'm really happy, that you like it! @THERIZE: Now it's faster than on the Lego track in the video! But a faster speed would be dangerous in the strong bends of this track! @legoman666: I have no plans. As you can see, the modell has the colour scheme of my own railway company and I haven't got a logo yet. Maybe later...

Really nice modular building! I like that it's possible to go up to the balcony from the street and then go further to the highest floor! The interior is cool, too!
  20. Hi! As you can see on the two pictures above and in this short , this MOC is a copy of a real thing. We haven’t got a Grand Canyon, or an Eiffel in Hungary, but it’s still possible to find nice places here. For example Szilvásvárad (a little village) is one of the most best places of the country. There is a small valley here, which was made by the Szalajka creek. And at the and of it there is this beautiful waterfall. There are a lot of other sights, too, for example the ancient men’s cave, the lookout tower, etc. It’s possible to reach the end of the valley on foot, by bicycle, and by the narrow gauge railway. It has a 4 km long trank in the forest, near the creek. It was a forestry railway in the past, and now it’s the only narrow gauge railway in Hungary, which can maintain itself. It has more, than 200 000 passengers a year. The railway usually uses two engines. One of them was modernized a few years ago, it is the one on the main photo. My Lego version contains this engine, a passenger coach and the snack bar wagon. The snack bar wagon is almost always near the waterfall, sometimes the engine takes it back to the village to refill it. The amount of tourists is increasing, I guess it was the reason of some developments there. Due to them, the valley contains to much buildings and asphalt, but it’s still nice. Don’t forget to visit it, if you are in Hungary! You can find more pictures about the Lego model, and the real train on Mocpages! Thanks for watching!
  21. Thanks everyone for the kind words! I really loked to build this one, so it means a lot, that you like it, too! @dr_spock: Yes, it's true, there is a children run railway, and thanks to an other builder, it is also exists as a Lego model: http://legovasut.bloglap.hu/kepgaleriak/gombos-laszlo-mk45-2002/
  22. Hi! Sometimes we can hear in different Lego communities, that it's an exciting activity to build out of our comfort zone. And it's completely true! Well, it's my second creation at this scale, but the first one, which is a model of a real vehicle. (My Johnny English Truck was a replica of the functions only.) I'm very curious, what you think about it. The bus is a completely remote controlled 1:24 model. (length: 64 studs, width: 14 studs, height: 17 studs, approx 2050 elements) It's possible to drive it, to steer it, and to open and close the doors separately. You can find the technical detailes and a short text about Credo buses below, after the video. Nowadays Credo buses are well-known in Hungary. They are produced by the Kravtex-Kühne group. At the beginning, the group used a Czech license, but the Econell 12 (presented at the end of 2011) is completely Hungarian development. I often travel by Credo buses between the place where I live and the university. Unfortunately, they are usually older types. But I have already travelled by the Econell 12, its very comfortable. Picture of the real: If you search on Google for Credo buses, you may notice, that the wheels look very small. Its the speciality of Kravtex-Kühne group, some of their buses are produced with smaller wheels, so they are lighter and they dont need so much gas. Big buses with small wheels looked a little bit strange, but I think the Econell 12 looks great with the big black mudguards/fenders. I think the new front and rear panels with the black frames around the lights are fantastic, too. Behind this link you can find a lot of pictures about the real Econell 12 and other Credo models, too. Choose option 'Galéria'! And now pictures: The most tricky part of the bus was the front. It's only 3 stud long, but contains as many crazy building techniques as possible, and one more! I'm really proud of it. I will show you later, how I built it. I think it's the minimum. Technical details: The driving mechanism contains two L motors, both motors drive one axle and this axle drives the differential. I used a servo motor for the steering. The doors are opened and closed by two M motors. The chassis is very long, but I had to put two holes in it, because the doors need space. Due to the holes it was impossible to find place for everything at this level. But there are a lot of space under the roof, so the really interesting things are under and around the air conditioner. The spinning of the motors is slowed down by worm screws. The 1x3 technic half liftarms convert the spinning to horizontal motion. The video shows how it works, these pictures below show how it looks like. More pictures on Mocpages, as always! If you visit Hungary, don't forget to try to travel by old Ikarus buses and new Credo buses! Thanks for watching!
  23. @MaxSupercars: Thanks! Yeah, I like it very much! Can't wait to see your small model! @legosamigos: If I win the lottery, I will build all vehicles of KISALFÖLD VOLÁN with letters and correct colour scheme and of course with a station!
  24. Hi! Recently I went to the nearest city and I took this picture at the station of intercity buses! Fortunately the bus parked near the side of the station, it's the reason, why we don't see people on the photo.
  25. Thank you very much! I appreciate your comments! @csaba 71: Köszi! Írták, bizony!
