LEGOJANG released his review of Stormer XL. :D , and .I wonder why he didn't put them in one video. As he is a partner there is no 15 minute limit for him. Other than many others here, I prefer the video review. I like the dynamic of this format, but a well-written has proves to be just as good.

Yep, I get where you're going. Europe has the GB exclusives (but only GB, I would still need to let them ship to Germany from GB to get them), and the US have CC or Toyfair exclusives. And everyone want what the other has. So again, its a about the distribution. And before someone cries over people wanting exclusivly painted plastic figures: Well, let us be crazy.
-
I feel a bit offended by that. Whatsoever, I hope the thread does not go into the direction of completly destroying the concept of exclusive figures. But I think it should be acceptable, to actually want figures with a larger distribution. Europe is, as far as I know, completly left out with these figures.

I'm just going to quote myself from the 2012 Superheroes Rumours & Discussion thread: I also agree with the point that the figures picked are fan favourites and just like The Blue Brick, I also want every character in every variation. If you say I should start scratching up that money for the figs from ebay of bricklink, I must say that I'm just a poor schoolar. Why should I have to save 2 months of pocket money, just to buy 1 Lego minifigure (I get 50€ a month, what already is quite a bunch, but as I'm doing my drivers license, I'm broke at the end of the month). It is als just about the distribution of the figs. If there would be more of the figs, or even just the notice, that they will return in a later set, the prices in the second hand market would sink. Maybe someone like me, without a high income, can aquire the fig and is happy. :) I honestly hope that Legos first priority is still their customers happiness.

Even though FBTB states that "these figures will NOT be available in any future set", I still hope that this is not the case. I completly despise the CC exclusive figures. I see myself as a collector and also really like the figures, but it is impossible for me to fly to America every year to visit the CC only to get the chance to get these exclusive figures Lego bashes out every year. Toy Fair figures tend to reappear in events of stores. Some figures come with videogames. I'm fine with the later two, because they are not bound to one place. I have a Lego Store an hour away from me. You might say that I should buy CC figures from brickset then, so that I don't have to fly to America, but the price of those rare figures is so high that I could just take that flight for a holiday. Lego should definitely change their distribution of figures. I'm fine when the figures appear 1 or even 2 years later in a set, but as far as it looks, the figures of this year and also the ones of last year (Iron Man and Cap) will never be seen again. And this is what disturbs me. Source

Got 40049 - Mini Sopwith Camel and 10230 Mini Modulars today in my Lego Store in Oberhausen. Sadly, they didn't have the Minecraft set, which I wanted to grab in the first place.

Hello everybody! Today I present you my most recent updated Bionicle Mocs together with some story background. It is the time of the Toa-DH war. The OoMN has dispatched one of its agents to collect a group of Toa to get rid of Makuta that have gone mad. Let us start with the good guys - The Toa Ventura and the OoMN member Guranda. From left to right: Toa Volta, Toa Jules, Guranda (middle), Toa Attictus, Toa Kushino Toa Volta is a young Toa of lightning and is very passionate about fights. She battles her enemies with her Thunder Claws and her aggression. This aggression however has often lead her into even more dangerous situations from which she often needs to be rescued by other Toa, eventhough she wants to stand on her own two feet. She befriends Jules very quickly after his arrival in the Toa-DH War, thanks to their young age. Toa Jules is a newbuild Toa of plantlife. He enters the Toa-DH War as a freshman and is overwhelmed with the destruction. He is very optimistic and always tries to find a nonviolent way. When this does not work out, he uses his Protosteel Scyth and his plantlife powers to capture his enemies. When he sees the horrible work of the insane Makuta, he is shocked and thus starts his inner fight. Should he try to talk to these beings or destroy them without hesistation? Guranda is a trustworty member of the OoMN. He collects the Toa to send them on an important mission to get rid of insane Makutas. After a fight with Makuta Kaxikos Guranda was left badly injured and has since then been in need of artificial respiration by a machine on his back. Toa Attictus is a wise Toa of earth. The Matoran of his home island thought that he had a programming error, because his words made no sense to them. Even amongst some Toa, Attictus' words never found the recognition they deserved. With that he started writing his thoughts down and tries to pass them to the next generation. For the next generation to read his thoughts, it needs to exist and thus Attictus fights with his quake hammer and the other Toa against the insane Makuta. Toa Kushino is a noble Toa of fire. He is the oldest Toa of the group and has thus attained much experience. As he is a Toa of fire, his hot-headed nature often breaches through his inner ease, that often saved him in his countless battles. To defeat the Makuta and to fullfill his duty, Kushino needs to shove his firery nature aside. Now we come to the Makuta, that have gone mad and try to perfect their experiments, whatever the cost. From left to right: Makuta Raidon, Makuta Kraxikos, Makuta Zerratek, Makuta Nadios Makuta Raidon is the most impulsive Makuta of the four. Not only his appearance but also his nature bring fear into the heart of all that know him (beside his fellow Makuta). His experiments are often far inferior to the ones of his brothers but his own and unique fighting style with his spiked spear is what helps him defeat his enemies without second thoughts. Makuta Kraxikos is the hidden brain behind all of the mad Makutas operations. He often thinks twice before he acts and thus has attained several strong allies, all over the MU. But when a conversation proves to be unseless, he is the first to draw his chainsaw and slice his enemy into bits and pieces. He is ruthless when it comes down to it. Kraxikos also likes to use a pair if silver wings to fly to his next destination. His creations are the most deadly of all. They feature a weak physical structure but deal menacing blows with their weapons. Makuta Zerratek is the most calm Makuta you will find. Zerratek is not easily provoked and uses his looks to silence his enemies. When he strikes with his double swords, his enemies are often defeated after one precisley placed cut. Zerratek's creations are eypecially mechanic and tend to loose their personality. The only exception of this is his newest creation Andar, as he discovered that apersonality can be helpfull during a fight. Makuta Nadios is the most insane of all the Makuta. His creations are often crippled and stiched together from many species but prove to be of use. If they are not, they are configurated with full conciousness. Nadios is known to fight dirty with his dark blade and blaster. Last are the Makuta's newest creations. From left to right: Kahjalix (red), Mura, Andar, Sinto Kahjalix is a self-declared War-Matoran. He keeps fighting until the bitter end, because he is too afraid of the consequences, if he would fail his master Raidon. Mura is the creation of Makuta Nadios. It is patched together from several beings and needs its protodermis tank on its back to keep it running. It has become fearless and fights with its long claws until the bitter end. Andar is the creation of Makuta Zerratek. She was the only creation of Zerratek to keep its personality after she has been found nearly dead in a Xian factory. For this, she is thankfull to her master and has sworn to protect his life with everything she has. Everything. Sinto is the ruthless creation of Makuta Kraxikos. He silently kills all his enemies with his arm blades. To reach his destination, he uses his wings to fly. Even though he has an intact conciousness, he is kept in place with Kraxikos' dominating power. This is all I have for now folks! I hope, it was woth reading for you. Now some final links: Old versions and taken apart MOCs More pictures of the shown MOCs (may need to be moderated first)

The lower arm is easy, made with common pieces and looks good. I like it! But I'm not really a fan of custom head. BRU1S3R's doesn't look fitting to me. It seems too long, considering he is bulky and small. M0L3's head on the other hand seems fine, considering you build him to "transform". I'm loving the simplicity of mole, too. It uses just a few pieces and works quite well. It might occur that there will be critizism on M0L3's feet, but they actually need to be stubby, like on a mole. It looks easy, but is thought trough. F1R3 is probably my least favourite. His head is a little bit too simple for my taste and you should have stayed with one red. The dark red on the hand and feet don't look like they continue the color scheme very well. He also need some front armor. That's it for now. I hope to see more!

Now that you say "SelfMOC". Toa Jules is mine. Just throwing that in. I just love limegreen.

Yes, they are not very complex. I tried my best with my trusty bag of spare parts.

Thanks! I will be opening my first topic later today and show of my Bionicle MOCs.

Hello there! I'm KazeMonsuta. I live in Germany and Lego has been in my life since my 5th birthday when I got 5938 Oasis Ambush. With that I got into the Adventurers line and one year later into Star Wars, of which I still am a big fan. But my biggest passion has been Bionicle, when it first appeared in 2001. I actually own all non-polybag sets (excluding the Special Edition Jetrax T6 and some Combiner sets like the Kardas Dragon). From Bionicle I got into Hero Factory. The openness of the story still keeps me interestet in the villains and not so much in the heroes. Besides the Action Figure lineup, I am also a fan of fresh lines like Agents or Monster Hunters. (Everyone, who wants to take a look at my Lego sets, is welcome to do so trough this brickset-link: My setlist on brickset ) After I have been observing this site as a guest for a long time, I finally decided to register and share some of my models with you in future time. My models consist of MOCs or MODs of some sets. I do not feel to be overly talented due to the huge amount of quality work on this forum, but I am convinced that it will be no shame for me to show of what I have been building and perfecting for many months. I also wish to learn many more building styles to flesh out my creations. I trust we all wil be able to work together! Greetings, Kaze

MOC: Tyrnosaurus-REX
KazeMonsuta replied to captain kaos2's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Great MOC! I laughted when I saw the little crown on his head. Well build and fitting chair. Very well done! -
I already know that I will Mod all sets, but Voltix gives me the feeling, that moding him will be eypecially difficult thanks to all his colors. I do not know what to use as his main and secondary color. I tend to use gunmetal armor and some red bones. We'll see how all this turns out. I hope I can snatch some of the sets tomorrow in the Lego Store in oberhausen.

I had the same problem when I got mine in April. Just proves how bad the packaging design is. A box or canister would have protected it better. Pressure from outside wouldn't affect the parts that much if the packaging was not bendable too. Try flexing them gently into the other direction than they are pointing right now. If it keeps going back don't worry using force. The parts can sustain it, as they are thick enough. With that I got mine nearly straight again.
