This promotional image was made before the name change and is being reworked. They aren't calling it Ninja Turtles. They look good to me. Not seeing the gremlins resemblance. -

The van is official, but that turtle image is just promotional material from the unrelated game 'Out of the Shadows'. Also, someone who supposedly saw prototype collectible models of the movie turtles said that they were *not* textured, and each had costumes relating to their personalities, hence the glasses and shorts on Mikey. Apparently Donnie's getting tech gear, Leo's getting samurai gear, and Raph is getting something I can't remember. -

The turtle sub just has the breathing mask version. The tactical variants all have specially coloured torsos. Oh god it's hideous. -

I understand what you mean about the Mark 1, I personally use the Welder's mask because it adds some much needed height to the figure. Studs on the legs don't do it for me.
