Deadpool in a LEGO game would be hilarious. There are limitless possibilities for that

Spider-Man replied to Spider-Man's topic in Hello! My name is...
Thanks I was surprised it was available myself! I was prepared to have to go to some extreme of Spider-Man22313 or something! Maybe there are still other simple heroes names still available? In a couple of weeks maybe we can start to assemble the Avengers -
Now you just gotta add on his diaper But you are right, in LEGO, he is the perfect purist stand in!

What DC/Marvel Hero/Villain Do You Most Want To See Made In LEGO?
Spider-Man replied to Mr. Elijah Timms's topic in LEGO Licensed
Which characters do you think would need new molds? I definitely think Thing, Venom would need new molds and hopefully TLG would be willing to make them a little more articulate than the Hulk currently is. -
Ah yes totally forgot about the awful instructions! They are incredibly difficult to read and figure out, simply because of the fact they throw sooo many pieces at you at once and you just have to search for where they placed them
-
I thought that they blatantly came out and said there will NOT be any sets for TDKR. I will go back a few pages and see if I can find the exact post.

Thanks people for the welcome! Lots of great stuff going on here! I am already swinging all over the place trying to keep up with everything! And I got the idea to do the head shot from seeing Iron-Man's avatar It worked out perfectly that the high definition pictures came out right at that time to -
That's incredible! I wish there were close up pics so we could see all the heroes close up

Good call! I did not see that little strip before. Good eye

I am interested to see if it is just a bunch of researches in the arctic or if there is going to be some kind of action involved in this theme? Mind controlled penguins would be my best guess, but you never really know.

Sweet fig! Does he have any kind of back printing? And if so is there anyway you can post a pic Edit: Thanks for the back picture

Welcome! I am new to the LEGO community and will issue my first welcome, even though you have been apart of it longer than I! Your MOC sounds like a great project and I hope everything works out the way you are expecting so you can get to it! Can't wait to see it when you are done

I purchased one of the new Spider-Man sets and have to say there are some positives but a lot of negatives. The negatives being that the figures have too much articulation that they wont stay in one spot, the bricks don't all clutch each other very well, there is a lot of mis-coloration among the bricks, and the overall design of the set is pretty weak. I noticed that if they would have just used a couple pieces here and there that the set would have held together much better. Now for the positive. The set does actually have some nice play features. It has a nice catapult built into the floor that launched things against a big rubbery spider web, as well as their version of flick-fire missiles they put on the helicopter actually will fire nice and easy by the push of a button. So for play features it isn't too bad, the figs just aren't that great. Hopefully when the new Spider-Man LEGO comes out I can somehow use the Oscorp Lab to benefit him

Thats exactly what I meant by the comment I love all the Spider-Man comics as well and I consider those cartoon as well since they are drawn like they should be animated. The comment was more against the angry little beady Toby McGuire eyes TLG gave the last waves of Spider-Man.

I still think that set will be more than likely the new B-Wing, however you never know! I won't get my hopes up, but wouldn't mind being pleasently surprised

Thanks for the welcome everyone! And yes my favorite theme is the hero line I look forward to getting to know everyone better -
Good point K-Nut! Plus a lot of characters in the show have headgear or something on to cover their cartoony eyes. Nova has his helmet, Iron Fist has his mask, Luke Cage has his mask etc. My only concern is that if they make a Fury fig from the show and it ends up not looking right standing with the Avengers. As for the other conversation going on. I don't think we should vilify TLG for making exclusives. They need to make some kind of presence at these conventions and this is just one way to do it, however I do agree with most here in saying that they should just to "pre-releases" of nice figs from sets to come in the future. Like maybe instead of Shazam they could have done a release of a Superman fig from the new Man of Steel sets coming out in 2013 or maybe a new suit for Iron Man that will be included with the Iron Man 3 movie sets? This way people that wanted them NOW could pay the ridiculous price, but other will also have a chance of getting them in the next 6 months to a year.

The movie is out in Singapore?! How was it? And really great decals! If I was any good with applying them I would give them a shot, but sadly I'm not. If someone wanted to help me out I wouldn't say no

Thanks for the welcome! I have dabbled with it but still don't have the pieces to really make amazing things like some people on here! Also I do like the web pun I will be sure to use web phrases as much as possible on here -
Is Cuusoo too easily taken over by Rabid Fandoms?
Spider-Man replied to David Thomsen's topic in General LEGO Discussion
He might care this just isn't the thread to talk about it Fifi no need to get offended Has anyone seen the Portals project on Cuusoo? This is fandom at it's finest. Over 4,000 supporters in 4 days all because it was placed on some gamer websites. I have never really played the game, but I think it has to do with walking through portals so just how exactly does that transfer into LEGO? It looks like a cool set still I guess? -
Not too crazy about the whole pirate thing for some reason. I think the snakes were at least cool because of the new molds but pirates is just something TLG always does. Maybe they wanted a price cut on the last wave and didn't want to make new molds so just decided to go with something that they could easily put into sets without costing a fortune?

The one time I did an order from S @ H for Pick a Brick the shipping took a loooong time to get to me in Chicago. I would say give customer service a call since they are always so accommodating. I eventually got my order but it was a solid 3 weeks to a month after I placed it. Edit: Don't need to quote the post right above mine

All I really want out of AotC is a new Jango and maybe if we are lucky some sort of Geonosian arena (playset) with some cool Jedi! If TLG wants a set to sell next year all they have to do is throw in a new Jango and that set will automatically fly off the shelves, either that or Bricklink will be selling a lot!

My 6 year old brother get's these magazines and I will look through them with him. After seeing the winners of past contests I would say yes it is probably more of a kid thing. Expect to see some multi-colored palaces
