What a shame about Venom A lot of people would have liked to have him in a set I'm sure. He is one of the most famous Marvel villains. Hopefully this is one that TLG will put in a set like they did with Superman!

Is there a benefit (besides not choking to death) in either one of the heads? Or could it be that pieces in the set were made in separate factories and yet still put in the set? That seems like and awfully expensive way to do things.

I think it was a good choice to go with the genie head for a semi-purist look. It is the only blue male head we currently have

My guess would just be image error from when they cropped the figs onto a white back ground. What could really be interesting is if these figs came from the front of the box that could be shown this week at SDCC!

Not that I am all that crazy about the DC figures, more of a Marvel guy, but I do think that LEGO understands that the two superhero licenses they have are pure gold. I foresee a lot of these awesome characters being included in sets down the road. LEGO is pretty smart and I don't think they will be losing these license anytime soon!
