Red Hood would be a nice addition to the Superhero family!

I think it would be cool, but I would rather see a Clayface

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
Spider-Man replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Where are the arms for the football player coming out of? It looks like they are coming out of his shoulder or something? Edit: Never mind I see it is like the Hockey player -
Yesterday it looked like we got some good ones from fans phones and stuff for not just Bag End but a lot of other convention stuff. Plus I think they have coverage on G4 today, so maybe they will pop up there. I am just being hopeful here

Thanks for the leg!

I wonder if the modularity of Jabba's palace will set the stage for future sets with the same capabilities! I could totally see a Jedi Temple that you can buy 3 or 4 sets and combine them all to make an even bigger temple! Or even with Palaptine's arrest coming up. It has all those technic pin holes all over, so maybe there will be stuff you can add on?

Ok back on topic now.... Today we get to see the new minifigures and hopefully some sets for Superheroes 2013  Doors open at CC at 9:30 Pacific time, so I would imagine we could start seeing pictures pretty soon after that! Unless they are being presented to the public at some point, or if LEGO holds out until 3 pm or 4 pm like they did with Bag End

Reason to believe we could be getting a new Arkham Asylum set!

I think it would be cool if his stomach was hollow so you could put the whole Gammorean down there
-
Sweet! I wonder how much it will be? Looks like a nice $40 set in my opinion, but more likely it will be $50 I think.

No problem my Woodland friend Trust me I know how things have been getting thrown around lately!

Those were credited yesterday as just rumors. It is pure speculation on their part. A couple pages back you can see the discussion about that exact same web page.

This is from the LEGO release statement gotten from FBTB: "LEGO Super Heroes – Friday, July 13 LEGO Super Heroes: DC Universe TM adventures soar to new heights with the public debut of 2013 LEGO Super Heroes minifigures. To spotlight the collection that recreates famous DC Comic Super Heroes and Super Villains with a collection of sets and buildable characters, LEGO Systems will display a LEGO Super Heroes DC Universe 3-D mosaic featuring iconic images of Wonder Woman™, Batman™ and Superman™. One raffle winner will receive an exclusive 5-inch Batman model in LEGO form. LEGO Super Heroes: MARVEL sets and buildable action figures bring scenes of great Marvel characters such as the Avengers, Spider-Man and X-Men to life, in addition to new characters unveiled for the first time in their 2013 LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes minifigure form. A life-size model of the Incredible Hulk in LEGO form will dominate the show floor, 2012 construction sets will be displayed and an exclusive 5-inch Spider-Man in LEGO form will be given away to one lucky winner who enters Friday’s raffle." That leads me to believe that ALL superheroes will be tomorrow and Star Wars will be Saturday.

Phew! Atleast it isn't actually Venom. I will still cross my fingers that an actual Venom will be shown tomorrow in a 2013 set

I just think it is dumb on LEGO's part to not try to profit off of these figs. They obviously know how much some of them have gone for on the secondary market so I just don't know why LEGO wouldn't want to capitalize on some really cool figs. So they make these 1,000 figs of Venom that are never going to be in a set, so only those 1,000 people will get this iconic character in LEGO form. However they could instead say alright he is exclusive for now, but may be released later and then down the road they make a set with Venom in it and sell it for $50. A whole lot of people will buy that set just for Venom regardless of other figs and what the build is (for the most part) since he is such an iconic villain. There is a lot of money to be made in these superhero figs. It is not just LEGO fans buying them.

I was wondering if anybody would be able to come up with a red boot decal with webbing on it to go with the Spidey fig coming out soon. I tried to give it a go but it didn't turn out too great. Thanks for any help from anybody I don't even know if it would be possible to apply a boot decal, and if not I guess I will just do a red leg with blue covering it to make the appearance of red boots. I am VERY new at decaling so advice is also very welcomed!

Ya that is a very good point. I hope with a mold smaller than Hulk they could add some more articulation but we won't know until we see it. Who knows the one they are giving away today could be a big fig? We haven't exactly seen it yet. I am sure what ever LEGO decides to do will be great and that it will for sure look really good
-
I am pretty sure they said there will be only 1 set
-
Well I don't think he needs to be as big as your second picture, but even the first picture he is probably larger than a regular fig. I think this Venom has a good shot at making it into fig form since it is the one from the new show. I am sure it will be a split decision though just like Hulk was. Some prefer the minifig form some like the big guy, and I like the big guy

Zombie Exterminators

Those are pretty neat I especially like Flyboy! Edit: Just noticed a Spidey joke. Of course the Spider would like the fly -
I think it opens the doors at 9:30 am pacific time, so it would be a little over 3 hours from now we should start seeing stuff

HULK SMA- um, I mean hi, I'm The-Hulk!
Spider-Man replied to The-Hulk's topic in Hello! My name is...
With a little correction like that you might be able to just pm a moderator and tell them you didn't know you could use spaces and if they are feeling nice they will change it for you Either that or you can threaten them with some face smashing, either way works! -
Haha that almost sounds like a threat! I agree with deskp though. I don't think we will see 3 trolls in one set, being that they would be a new big mold, and it would seem silly to just put one troll in a set. Comic Con starts today so we will start getting pictures I am sure through out the day. Also remember it is only 6:12 am in San Diego right now

I hope that this Venom they are giving away turns out to be like the promo $50 purchase Hulk minifig, and then that way we can get a new mold in a set I think the perfect sized mold for Venom would be half way between a normal minifig and Hulk. I mean they made the cave troll bigger than the Hulk so I don't see why it would be a problem to make a figure mold smaller than Hulk?
