What is the "classic" Classic Space Minifig Color?
jasbury replied to Legoroni's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Am I the only one voting for red? As an avid Neo Classic Space builder, I would definitially say red or white. Those are definitially the classic ones, having appeared before any other space minifigures came about. I said red because they appeared the most, and make better pilots than the white ones I think many people are misreading the post to think it's the classic classic space color, not minifigures color. -
We seem to get 3 each wave including the January and summer waves. There are a lot of planets in the SW universe, and lots of ways Lego can go for future sets in the waves. As for a Geonosian arena, that would be awesome, but a lot of this talk is probably better fit for the future Star Wars set ideas forum. I hope that they make the rancor the proper size. I can imagine TLG making it slightly under scaled to fit in the playset. Probably with a closing gate mechanism. It's hard to make an underground rancor pit look "pretty"

So just read the news of a rancor set being revealed on Saturday of SDCC. It's supposed to be one of 20 new SW sets being released in 2012 perhaps we are nearing closer to a 2013 pictures and rumors topic?

Wow, I didn't realize how in-accurate the last two B-wings looked in comparison to the new one until I saw these pics! I now have new appreciation for the size and detail packed into the new one Might have to buy the new B-wing after all! As always, thanks for the awesome HR pics, Grogall! The box-art looks okay. Despite the fact that there is no gravity in space, the cockpit angling does look a bit akward Cheers, -Jasbury

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
jasbury replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
We already have the series 8 list, but I think most of these would be good ones for Lego to release. The green astronaut and rocketeer sound very appealing to me -
Wow! An amazing work of art! Quite impressive.
-
Awesome work, and awesome idea! I'm sure a few more astromechs might soon follow! Great job! I might make one if I decide to splurge on a large BL order

Haha, amazing work very inspirational! I need to stop being lazy, and try to come up with something myself

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
jasbury replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Interesting... As said before, a sorce would help to make this more credible. I'm looking forward to the alien and evil robot! Any rumors on those would be much appreciated! I Imagine the female alien being similar to the ones seen in the AQ line. -
Good point. That cocpit piece would have been more fitting. I think that they should have kept the same price of $250, but made it minifig scaled, or added an exclusive minifig. What are you talking about? Don't all Lego sets actually shoot lasers? Hmm, never thought of that before, but there are similarities. The twilights just boxier and uglier
-
Ow, amazing model! I am quite impressed! the price on the other hand is way to expensive. Just because it's UCS doesn't mean it should be passed off for $200 with that price to part ratio. I also noticed that in the video it looks as if the gyroscopic cocpit doesn't work very well. Oh well, minor criticism. Looks much larger than previous B-wings, though! Anyone know how close to minifig scale it is?

Haha, I love it! Hilarious MOC! Love all of the details, and work put into it! Congratulations on getting on the first page

What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars sets?
jasbury replied to Loco de Lego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That set included to much chrome to be considered ugly, in my opinion! I agree that the Twilight and Podracer bucket were pretty ugly! -
I second that. If Lego is going to turn this into a series of sets, then we need a strong and successful first set. If that one is successful, we can hope for more to come, including the drop pod. I think the truck or starship with about 2 or more marines, and at least one Ugokin. Probably a good $20 set. Great ideas, HJ Media! Keep up the good work.

Summary of TFOL/AFOL survey findings, May 2012
jasbury replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Very interesting! Yeah, I was curious about that, aswell. Glad we got to see these results! -
That's what sells the set for me. I need someone to Lead my Mando army Agreed! hopefully a new Padme, Jango, and non-CW yoda aswell! But now I'm just getting my hopes up...

Very cool! I like the leg design! Makes it look very spider-like. Definitially looks great for Blacktron data-retrieval.
-
True story The sides are far from air-tight, the technic beams show too much, and the opening mechanism needed improvement. The minifigs are what sold it for me. Who doesn't want a four armed alien?
-
I know I am! Awesome MOC! Great posing and setting. Very reminicent of the video game!
-
Wow, incredible work! Crazy amound of detail, especially with the shaping, and details like the docking bay! Hard to pull off at that scale. I am impressed! Funny, I was just watching Star Trek...
-
Wow! My jaw dropped! Especially in the short amount of time taken to build it. Also creative the way it's split down the middle. Well done!
-
Awesome review, 'CopMike'! Great way to continue the summer of friends I like the rarer pieces featured in this set, like the newly colored fish.
-
Awesome! You totally nailed the whole build! Very accurate to the original down to the stripes, cocpit, and decals!
-
Very well played indeed! I like all of the cleverly done details on it like the engine and the wings! Good luck with the contest. -Jasbury

I'd like to join I've got a pretty good camera and some in box classic space sets that might be fun to review!
