A good point. The helmets are almost identical. All Lego would really have to do is lighten the color of the blue seen on his torso/legs, and give him a different face printing. Well, we can hope for a rumors list next week or around CVI. It's usually in September that we begin to see the really preliminary photos. Fingers crossed! And as far as I know, Lego hasn't created a new phase II clone design yet. The one seen in the battle pack was a phase I-II hybrid. We can probably hope for a mix of phase I and II for 2013.

I hope so! I Highly doubt that they would reuse the old jango helmet and armor with the new helmet mold availed. Slave I or kamino set possibly?

A hard question indeed, but I would have to say set #6990 Futuron Monorail. Such a classic and memorable space set, but really hard to find cheaply these days. Good luck everybody!

Yet another use for sharpies! I still prefer flesh to yellow for my space MOCs. If theres a way to turn yellow to flesh, that would be cool! I'm a little to much of a purist to try to find a solution, though

Even if the rancor is slightly to small, It's still a must get figure for me. I'd take detail and quality over a poorly done larger rancor. Plus, does 1/2 of an inch make that big of a difference for displays?

Agreed. This would have been an awesome idea. Oh well. It does almost look as if Lego is running out of ideas. I hope we many more series to come in the future since the CMF line has been one of Legos top sellers since it's release.

Hmmm, interesting! Don't believe we've had a jango recently. I think it's pretty safe to say that we will probably get a set with jango in it with the 2013 wave. Maybe a slave 1? The pics of the Lego prototype room are very interesting. I seem to notice more every time I look at it! I'd say the hidden set is a mustafar playset. But then again, these are only prototypes, so who knows if they will see the light of day.

We haven't seen a good hazmat firefighter recently. For those who build rescue, this is a wanted figure. Metaphorically speaking! Just because there are Star Wars sets doesn't mean there's no need for specialized clones like the ones seen in the new battle pack My original point was that I love the evil female alien, but minifigures like the new cheerleader (which is a step down from the previous one) aren't needed IMO.

It seems to me that they are doing to many minifigures that have been done before. I think that the idea of collectable minifigures should be to do new and different minifigs that are great for display. Although I like all of them, some are unneeded. We have already seen a cheerleader and skier before. I think Lego should do ones that haven't been done before, like a fireman, soldier, medusa, rock climber, bigfoot, and a lot more. The list goes on for a while. Ideas can be gathered from here. Repeating a minifig is fine, but make it different from the previous one, and original. The cheerleader is identical to the previous one, just in a different color. I do like how they made the series 7 space marine different from the previous space minifigures Just my thoughts.

Nice part usage with the flippers in the front! The checkerboard pattern looks really nice on this MOC. Good job!
