Introducing my latest MOC: The NCS Infiltration Viper! This was built as my contribution to Vic Viper Novvember. Originally Commander Grayson of the NCS Star fleet's personal transport, the Infiltration Viper was built when agile space combat ships were needed. It's a favored design by many federation fighter pilots, although it's a very rare opportunity to be able to drive one of these as very few were ever produced. only about 6 are currently scattered around the stars. Well, I have officially created one Neo classic space ship in each of the three color schemes! I call this a success :-) My flickr! You can find my blog at spacebricks.blogspot.com! -Jasbury!

I would love a new more detailed grievous, but do remember that he is digital in the Yoda Chronicles, and they probably added more details on the digital version that weren't seen on the actual minifigure. I don't think it's enough to conclude a new grievous.
-
Yeah, I have to agree. There have only been two versions, and the new one was a huge jump from the previous one, and is still a more recent figure. Besides, when I watched the trailer, grievous looked the same. Cool! That would be awesome

Very cool! I find the gunship pretty interesting. The side gun-pods are finally complete/closed, but it looks as if the back of them are brick-built. And as they were in Ep. II, there is only one side hatch on each side rather than two. Here's a reference picture: And a new Dooku and Mace Windu! Sadly I couldn't find a good picture of Mace. but his leg printing looks great! Cheers!

This is great! Thanks. I'm really glad that they decided not to reuse the CW face. And the helmet! Lots of small changes, but I really like it!
-
Didn't think of that! It's possible, but the set was previously called "Yoda chronicles model". Unless that was a mistake. I personally would much rather it come from 1313. If you want an imperial shuttle, I'd get the one that's currently in stock. It's going to be discontinued soon, and it probably won't be replaced for a few years. Besides, I don't think It can get much better than the current design.

Very interesting. I'm guessing you're correct. Nothing came up when I searched wookieepedia for JEK-14. Hope this is a cool shop, but I won't buy it unless it fits in with existing canon.

Should I sell my Sandcrawler now or later?
jasbury replied to interestedpen's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The new movies come out in about 2-3 years, and my guess is that if the sand crawler passes the Cuusoo review, it'll be out in only about a year. My guess is that it won't pass the review, however. -
I don't think it'll be for a while. It all depends on if someone can take pics of a retailers catalog, or if we have to wait for an official Lego picture leak. My guess is closer to Summer. That non CW Yoda looks pretty cool! It's hard to tell what it'll look like in person since the picture is animated, but it looks a ton better than both previous figures

I believe those are actually the dates set for when the movies get released into theaters in 3D. 75015 Corporate Alliance Droid: Probably going to be an Ep. III set as it wasn't too long ago that we got a clone wars corporate alliance droid. Could be good. I don't know if Ill get this one or not. 75016 Homing Spider Droid: This one will probably be Ep. II. I think this could be a cool set. I did miss the last one that came out. 75017 Yoda vs, Count Dooku playset: Yes! Finally an opportunity fro a (hopefully) non CW Count Dooku! Fingers crossed! Same goes for Yoda. 75018 Yoda Chronicle model: Not really sure what this is. Guess I'll have to wait and see. 75019 AT-TE: I like the idea of getting one of these along with the gunship! Great for my clone army. 75020 Jabba's Sailbarge: I'll just have to wait and see. This can be cool, but at the same time it could be disappointing. 75021 Republic Gunship: My favorite of the list so far! I can't wait to see a good picture 75022 Mandalorian Speeder: I wonder what type of speeder this is... Is it supposed to be the one we already saw in the madalorian BP, or something larger?

Sounds like a great list for Clone/ separatist collectors like myself I'm curious about the corporate alliance droid... my guess is that it's the corporate alliance tank droid, but the last one wasn't released too long ago... Sounds like we are getting some great EP II sets. I missed the last homing spider droid, so I'll try not to make the same mistake. Maybe it's good that the winter wave isn't going to be very hard on my wallet. That way I can save my money for the summer wave

I agree that it could be, but if TLG notices the similarities, I can see them putting it in an Endor set. They aren't one to waste new molds
-
Yes! I just saw this myself over on hothbricks! I haven't seen a picture posted here yet, so here it is! ( sorry if this was previously posted ) I've noticed quite a few differences between this one and the last model. I think it's very likely for Lego to release a new model, especially given the fact that ATotC is comming soon to 3D. It has been about 5 years since 7676

Hmmm... Interesting set! Might pick this one up, but mostly for the parts. Thanks for the review

Very interesting. New white pieces used for the two front guns? I like the uses of robots in this line, although I wish their looks were a little more consistent.
-
Sounds great! Cool idea. I'll try to enter in this one, if time allows.
-
Very last minute! Hope I'm not too late! A small contribution, but I had fun nonetheless! Thanks!
-
Wow, thanks Grogall! This set's design looks really cool. Messy color scheme, though, in my opinion. I wish they had used trans-orange instead for the cockpit. That would help a little.
-
That's what I usually do. My clone armies have mass rather than accuracy! Sergeants look pretty cool, and it's a great opportunity to get an olive green clone trooper! Sadly, I'm only able to afford three of each battle pack a year. As for the HR pecs of Krell, I might have to pass on that fig. The proportions are pretty off. The torso is to tall, and the legs too stubby, in my opinion.
-
I agree. Lego rarely has a "battle scene" set whiteout both sides. How many exclusives usually come out each year, and when?
-
Wow, this is is great news for Hoth fans! One of the greatest battles in Star Wars history, in my opinion. Still surprising though, as we had a few Snows-peeders recently. I look forwards to more news/pics!
-
Seams like the real deal, but I'm really surprised to hear that they are out somewhere this early. Perhaps Lego is planning to release them earlier then March?
-
Rex's helmet printing looks really detailed from what I can tell. I look forward to getting my hands on some 501st clones! Haven't seen a HR picture of commander Cody yet... I have a feeling he's also going to be a great minifig this wave. Thanks for the pics!

Who needs symmetry It's based off of the grey and trans-green Classic space sets, of which there are about 4 or 5. Glad you like it!

The credit for the desert seen in the cosmic cruiser actually goes to ~ Lego Knight ~ on Flickr. The stars and backgrounds are usually wallpapers that I get permission to use, and then I'll modify their appearance/ colors accordingly. I did up most of the box art text and stuff by hand, but the Lego logo is cut out. I might do a box art pic for this MOC if time allows. Cheers! Jasbury
