  1. NinjaJayNuva has brought the following up in the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu thread: http://www.movieinsi...production#plot I decided that now would be the proper time to begin a thread for the movie in particular. Discuss!

We all are. It's like the wait for the finale piece of a trilogy. Unless of course this is the beginning of something new. Only wish I knew.

    Super Mario 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

Where do you live lol? Stock is being restocked and constantly changing everywhere I regularly shop. Lest we forget that more than half the line is out of stock with no return date on LEGO's website (which is good for LEGO, but bad for consumers who are demanding).

    LEGO Hidden Side 2020

Likely nothing, as it was it's own thing outside of the usual flow of themes. It was a "digital theme," rather than an "Action Theme" or a "Big Bang Theme"

    LEGO Monkie Kid 2020

Likely to be referential Interestingly, the Monkey King in the English version of Monkie Kid is voiced by Goku's dub voice actor, to just add to the fun.

I keep hearing this tossed around. The two largest sets of the line went on backorder rather quick, so I'm rather curious if this will be a consistent thing, once LEGO gets everything back up and running again.

There are some fun, yet loose connections to pull at, such as the villain "Omega" ominously mentioned in Clutch Powers being the same name the lead Oni bears in Season 10 of the Ninjago. They do also bring up that Clutch has had a long career in the show, but, as you said, never really gets explicit into details.

Marvel was manufactured early for the US so it can launch on June 1st (which means they were made in March, before closure). Ninjago did not, because they are due out later. Simple. Ninjago's Summer wave was an August launch in 2018 as well. Rebooted was the last time a Summer Ninjago wave launched in June in the US. You can cross reference the release dates on Brickset's website.

LEGO did that last year. They still came out in August in the US (Cole's Bike said July, and it did, indeed show up in Walmarts and LEGO Stores early in July). But now I'm not even sure they'll even come out then, as the factory in Mexico that makes the US' sets has been closed for the usual month they'd be working on them (May). I can't remember how many years it's been since August wasn't Ninjago's release date. LEGO very rarely strays from their norms, and there's always someone every year who comes in saying otherwise that ends up seriously disappointed in the end.

If LEGO's website says "Coming Soon" then they aren't coming out June. August has always been the release date for Summer Ninjago in the US.

June everywhere except the US, but US reviewers will be getting review copies anyway. As always

The first of its kind is in that new 4+ set coming out (Fangpyre Truck) but it doesn't even remotely do the original justice. Villains make-or-break the theme for so many people, and, especially with Legacy, I wish LEGO put more effort into them.

Considering the fact that the 2020 Legacy suits are based off of Tournament of Elements, I'm not surprised that neither Nya nor Zane have suits to match. But since they aren't those suits, I don't quite understand the logic. I feel this way about a lot of Legacy minifigs. Sure these 2020 sets were in the design stages in 2019, when everyone wasn't sure Legacy would even continue, but I feel from here on out, the subtheme should focus on minifig accuracy as well, as is suiting of a subtheme that touts the name "Legacy." I've been rousing people up about this with the #WeWantAccurateLegacyMinifigs campaign on some social media, hoping for some Pink Zane quality minifigs for Legacy in the future.

Word is in June everywhere except the US, like it usually is.

APAC includes Australia. Basically the entire seaboard on that side of the Pacific. Exclusivity has ended at different times since they announced the end of permanent exclusivity. For the CNY sets this year, it was only a few weeks, whereas it was three months for the Dragon Boats last year.

Regional exclusives are very much still a thing. They just become available in other regions after a limited window of exclusivity. Happened just this year with the Chinese New Year sets.

I verified with some of the people reporting it, since I was skeptical too. Apparently they got it from someone who knows. Expensive, but for a lot of these, it's obvious to see why. Not to mention that the sets are for an older demographic.

    LEGO Ninjago 2020

Well, if these are considered Legacy Spinners, then at least LEGO has been consistent in how they've been handling accuracy in Legacy so far...

    LEGO Monkie Kid 2020

Wouldn't that depend on relying on the already shakey rumor of them launching in May?
  20. Saw and supported this thing the moment I saw it on Twitter. Thank you for thinking of me, too. Hopefully when one of the reproductions of the game goes live, we can all enjoy this world once again.

    LEGO Monkie Kid 2020

Designers have said Hidden Side isn't a Big Bang theme, as it's meant to last as much as it needs to, rather than following an explicit promotional cycle, and price point thresholds, like most Big Bangs do.

    LEGO Ninjago 2020

Just a reminder to everyone that Ninjago is and forever will be an evergreen theme Meaning that it will not die This would mean the only thing that could die is the current storyline. A new one would directly follow. LEGO's Annual Reports also do not report all top-selling themes as they only intend to spotlight a few key players, and in no particular order, no less.

Take this with a HUGE grain of salt

From what I understand is that DOTS had been in develoment for several years, and delayed for some too, with talk about it coming out of the woodwork as early as 2018. The 4chan post seemed to have used the murmuring about it as a basis for implying "legitimacy."

They don't only carry two, it's that you arrive before they restock them. It's not like they don't receive any, it's just that people are buying them. Or, at least you'd hope.

This is the reason I bought the set ASAP. I don't want to miss out on these variants.
