Yes, I have heard of this "Saber-Scorpion", and I honestly think he is very overrated. He relies too much on custom decals and modded pieces rather than the actual design aspect of a MOC. Even MOCs of his that don't utilize them aren't really that fantastic. There are a lot more Halo MOCs out there that are considered to be much better than that. Thats just my opinion though. -Chuck

Are Scala Elements in a 'System' Creation Legal?
Chuck replied to SirNadroj's topic in General LEGO Discussion
For some reason, it seems to me that you are associating the legal techniques set forth by the lego company that shows what should and should not be used in a set with purist fans. Purist means that they will not use non-lego elements. -Chuck -
Are Scala Elements in a 'System' Creation Legal?
Chuck replied to SirNadroj's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Why wouldn't it be, is the real question. That kind of like asking if you can use Bionicle in a MOC with system pieces: its all Lego. -Chuck -
Yes, Hinckley. Bow down to your new master :-P -Chuck

I might enter despite the fact that the contest scene isn't really my thing ;-) -Chuck

It's a transmorpher, not a transformer ;-) -Chuck

I have been noticing an increasing number of MOC contests and challenges recently, and I think it would be bennoficial to have its own subforum located in the MOC forum. Any thoughts on this? -Chuck
-
I wouldn't really qualify this as a Community type topic, more so a MOC topic ;-) Anyways, sigfigs are generally an expression or portrait of ones self in the form of a minifig or a small MOC (small as in the size of a fig). Topics such as these, though, are generally thought to be pointless if you don't give guidlines on what exactly you want to build or how you want it to look like. -Chuck

The attack by the People's Nation of South America on the Iron Reich colony was a shameless attack that could not have been foreseen, and has increased tension between the two states. Gallery -Chuck

Hmm, maybe they'll give him backwards euro armor with printing on it (I don't know what he's supposed to look like, sowhat I said might not amke sense.) -Chuck

I doubt we'll be getting it any time soon, though :-( -Chuck

What would really be nice would be a new helmet "mold", with a neck piece for the respirator, a piece that goes around the face like the fireman breathing mask, and a helmet on top similar to the at-st driver. We can dream, can't we? -Chuck
-
Also, you can see the two parts that would attach to a helmet and the little breathing apparatus. -Chuck
-
Well, at least that is what it appears to be in the prototype/box pics. It will probably change to a new mold for the retail version. -Chuck
-
That is a bit of a problem considering the "T" shape of the dio, but I might be able to in the future. -Chuck

I'm pretty sure that the battle-damaged Vader helmet is nothing more than this with the viewport on the minifig neck. -Chuck
-
Thats not quite what I meant. It isn't ONLY used in licensed themes. Its used in town, space, castle, etc. -Chuck

People's Nation of South America primary light mechanized ground artillery unit. -Chuck

The 4l bar used for lightsaber blades? That wouldn't be something I would really classify as "Starwars specific" :-/ My favorite SW specific piece would definatley have to be Lando's skiffguard helmet. -Chuck

Things I already know: crash seat comes out too far, the body is too steep, machine guns are place-holders. -Chuck

Can a Moderator or Admin please add WIP after the word "Hornet". -Chuck

On the contrary, SW4J, I don't clearly remember what I posted on Flickr due to the fact that he rudely deleted my replies. On that note, this is Eurobricks, not Flickr, so this really isn't the place to discuss it anyways. Sometimes, saying "Add this" doesn't help. The thing is, I know I apologized, but it isn't always my fault. I know I apologized for past actions, but I am also sick and tired of being treated like crap. It's because of this that i have recently been contemplating leaving this site all together. -Chuck

How was I in the wrong? You can't tell someone that their opinions are wrong. BTW, I know you want to be like your heroes Hinkley and Sinner, but you can't settle everything with MOC-offs. -Chuck

What, "I don't think this looks like it would appear in a post-apocolyptic world", referring to the "native americans". How is that "busting your chops" :-| The question mentioned was directed at you. -Chuck
