Maybe try to make the sequence be controlled by one mechanism for all legs and it needs to have more resistance than the moving cylinders combined. So the walker would have a "brain" that won't do the next movement before the last one is completed.

Can you use a 5.5 long axle with a stop?

Are you powering one axle with one motor? If not I suggest you do as having the axles separate makes both motors use their max power and you could set up the drive shafts to go diffrent directions to help with body roll caused by them.

I like this more traditional style compared to your usual technic hull type. If I understood correctly this wont be the only model design? SCHOOL takes all my time and building one takes DAYS

This one looks good! Most crawlers are fugly and have simple bodywork. The proportions are pleasing too, I mean that the wheel size fits the lenght and width. Only bad thing for me is the multicolored chassis.

Piterx uses centrifugal force to engage the wheel. The rubber is not connected on both sides.

You ask for proof but provide none yourself. Tried it, did not work. The hose has twists in it. Only way I can see this working is with a slip ring. This is topologically equivalent to a hose with no bend. It just has a bit more slack. If you think like this: mark a spot on the inner side of the hose on the rotating part. Then mark the same spot on the stationary part of the hose. As the hose goes around the spot will always point at the center. If the hose wouldn't twist the other spot should always face the spot on the rotating part it. It however does not, as it does not rotate with the rest.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone has a solution on how to reverse the rotation direction of an axle in a way that is compact and has the input and output in line. Simplest I can come up with is using sets of 2 and 3 gears, first to reverse and second to reset offset. That how ever is far from optimal. Even a mechanical principle will be appreciated even better if you can build it too Thanks.

The suspension arm needs to be longer. This won't have very much travel.

I actually have my 8880 built into the b-model. It looks nice and has enough functions. I actually find the a-model really boring. It looks weird and the doors don't even open. I guess I just don't have the nostalgic feel to it as I only bought it a year ago or so.

I like how with all that mechanical stuff going on you still managed to motorize the little side fans I really love it when people make these sort of renders where only gears and such are left. Also it seems to be adder-substractor driven? If so, cool as those have been kinda rare lately..

There is an obvious space behind the seats for a battery box. The roof has som pins that aren't even connected properly. Sadly, it's most likely used to motorize the bed and not drive/steering. No new parts truly spotted yet in any of the new sets?

Meh, not really interesting to me. Done before though not RC. Licencing adds nothing to this model other than price. It's not like Volvo loaders are something iconic, like say the unimog. Also the front is ugly. That rectangular frame and the gears stick out like a sore thumb. Yellow rims are cool.

You always impress me by making your models look so good and still so functional. Well built and performs good too. A large scale trial truck next maybe?

4-way symmetry like the larger one or just single (vertical) axis? Do you have an idea how to do a MacPherson setup with these? Usually the problem is the lego springs though...
