So who else buys whole sets for figs? What do you think about this issue and do you think Lego should obtain an action figure license so they can market figs alone? What do you do to reduce the amount of money you lose? Personally, I've only recently had the need to buy whole sets for figs, what with the new superheroes theme, and I'm not sure whether to sell the parts, or see how I am as a system MoCer, or what. I think it would be great if LEGO could obtain an action figure license, the only downfall would be it might put a considerable dent in their profit, as minifigs, and us fools who are willing to buy whole 20-100 dollar sets for them, are a huge part of LEGO's business. Discuss. EDIT:O.k, it seems that most people are strictly against buying anything significantly large purely for minifigs. But, may I ask, and this isn't a rhetorical question, what is one to do when he wants first-hand figs that are only included in large sets and are doubted to be released again? I payed 90 dollars for the quinjet aeriel battle for Iron man, and the quinjet alone I would only give a 7.4/10 in value for money, and I paid 65 dollars for the Incredible Hulk alone, and I'm thinking of regaining my value for money just by either selling the parts second hand in box, or using the spare parts for system mocing. What does everyone elese think of this as a long-term strategy, and how much will I get for the parts in 6868 Hulk's helicarrier breakout?

I'm considering starting system Mocing, and I was wondering, do you think I should continue if most of what I produce will be about the same quality as the model I have presented, and possibly increase in quality over time? I don't mind honesty at all. Thanks.

I'm wanting to start reading comic books and I was wondering, when did comic books start to get aimed at adults?

What would you do with all the spare cash if you weren't spending any of it on LEGO? I might buy a new guitar, maybe get into collecting action figures.

Sorry to keep on bothering people about stuff like this. Anyway, as I understand it, there was one universe prior to the Ultimate universe, which was the 616, which all characters of the marvel universe would subscribe to (a multiverse). After 2000, a new multiverse was created, the Ultimates. But then, my question is, if there was just one multiverse prior to 2000, how come there were many different existing titles for characters such as spider-man (amazing spider-man, spectactular spider-man, sensational spider-man). Did all of these titles correspond to the same universe? And am I right in presuming there is only one title for spider-man in the ultimate universe (ultimate spider-man)? Also, is the amazing spider-man in the 616 comics just one long story spread out over the 600 or so issues it has produced, or is the series rebooted every so often in a new comic? Thankyou very much for your time.

Though this is a very nice representation of Minas Tirith and the minifigs are all excellent, the whole scale of it kind of ruins the concept. In my opinion, if LEGO were ever to release a set based on Minas Tirith it would have to be a) a very large segment of it to minifig scale (or maybe system scale), or just something verty much like this, but without the figs. Very well done, though.

Someone (and there are too many pages to find out who) mentioned that it's a disappointment to see a moulded Rancor after so many brick-built incarnations of the creature. I agree with them. There was a reason LEGO hed back from releasing this set for so long, and that was because a) a moulded Rancor is such a ridiculous concept, why doesn't LEGO just mould everything if they're going to do that, and b) designing a rancor pit set where both the pit and rancor are composed of bricks would be far to pricey for hardly anyone to be willing to pay. Although I love seeing sets from the original Star Wars saga, this was a dodgey move.

Futurama and the Simpsons.xD Oh, to see a Bender Minifig.XD However, at the same time, these are two things which a part of me would dislike seeing made into Lego themes, because for some reason, it just doesn't seem right. I also would have liked it if the Indiana Jones and PotC themes would have lasted longer...

I'll expect that we'll see a Balrog with an un-hatted Gandalf (I would really appreciate that) in the next wave of LOTR sets. Probably (and hopefully) a set with a Gandalf the White, if LEGO knows what they're doing. Maybe some ents, too. It may be too out of scale, but possibly, if LEGO saw that LOTR and the Hobbit were popular enough themes, and assuming they haven't cancelled the line, we might, in, say, two or three years, see a UCS minifig-scale Helm's Deep set. This would both please and annoy me, cause although it would be awesome, I've already wasted my money on the system scale one.XD I would also really like to see an oiliphant set with caped Legolas. Hope that happens.

I wish that Lego would release a LEGO batman minifig that had a black bat against a black (with no yellow surroundings) background. I'm also really wishing LEGO would re-release a classic Robin minifig. Also, how come nobody cares for a moulded Iron Man head as opposed to a printed one or helmet? Think about it; it wouldn't be too big, and it would capture Iron Man's character perfectly. Personally I love the Iron Man fig as it is, but a moulded head would make it all that much better. The printed one just doesn't capture his awesomeness. I also really wish I could have gotten one of those sdcc black spidey figs. Also, can someone explain to me why Doc Ock's arms in the spidey set are black? Are they like that in the T.V show, and, if so why?

Well, as I read here, I think there might be a relation between Hawkeye's new costume in the ultimate comics and Ronin. Could someone clarify for me whether or not this is true?

O.k, this seems fairly complicated. BUT, I would just like to have one question answered about Hawkeye: was hawkeye's new costume in the ultimate comics related IN ANY WAY to Ronin?

So, am I supposed to understand that the version of the costume that hawkeye used in the movie was related to the character Ronin (as it says here) in some way? If so, could someone explain how, because I don't exactly understand what it says on Wikipedia. As for the quinjet, I'm having a little bit of trouble understanding people here, is the design for it in the Avengers movie a design that they made up purely for the movie, and, also, have there been many different designs for this ship in the comics over the decades?

So does that mean the quinjet in the movie was fairly accurate to one of the versions in the comics?

Then how come I came across an Avengers comic which I don't think was all that new and I don't think was trying to promote the movies that had the exact cast I described (that being said I think Hawkeye was in his movie-costume)? And, also, what about my quinjet question?

Can someone explain to me the quinjet concept and what the quinjet in the avengers movie was inspired by? Also, are the avengers in the avengers movie (Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, and the Black Widow) considered to be the standard six members of the Avengers team?
