You decide we only get one new shield.  OK.  But why is it something with no nostalgic value at all.

As someone whose first big castle set was royal knights drawbridge, the shield in the MTS is just close enough to trigger my nostalgia and I quite like it.

Would Wolfpack and Dragon Masters shields have been nice to have too? Sure, but we didn't get any so I don't see the point in whining about it constantly.

How is it massively overpriced?  Over 3700 pieces, it's licensed, A large dragon, 6 figs, a brick built, beholder, displacer beast, and owlbear and mushroom people for $360 seems pretty good to me.  Look at some of Monkie kid sets or city sets.

It's three hundred and sixty American dollars. For 3745 pieces.

The ones from 10320 were a downgrade from the 2015 pirates and 2020 barracuda bay pirates and imperials. Look at Majisto, dude has no prints and even the print from the dragon faction is mediocre. It's sad really.

My Eldorado Fortress bluecoats and my 2015 bluecoats look pretty much the same.

I already had a perfect Majisto from the 2022 BaM stuff so I'm pretty indifferent to those ones.

I don’t understand why you don’t want Blacktron to be a mutant? I mean, have you watched sci-fi movie? Like an astronaut hosting an alien parasite, like one from Prometheus movie.

I want to army build them but I like to have variety in my armies. Them all being mutants is kinda boring to me, so I'd really like it if the torso didn't have anything indicating it's a mutant so I can make a variety of figs with it.

It's so weird that horses are so rare in this theme these days, after some early Castles with 4 in a set, and plenty dotted around in other sets at the same time. Now though, the biggest, most expensive Castle set ever came with a grand total of 2. The last Castle wave had 3 or so horses in the whole range of sets. Kingdoms had a draught horse, 2 for the king's carriage, and 2 in the joust, but only 1 each for the castles/forts. Other castles this century had 1 or maybe 2. Lord of the Rings sets had similar treatment.

It's because the horse mould is 5 pieces nowaday and lego's too cheap to put multiples of them in a set for reasons we cannot fathom.

The adult market is even less licensed : only 2 of the icons range's 16 sets were licensed, and none were Star Wars of Harry Potter, add 2 Star Wars UCS sets, 2 similarly large Harry Potter sets, and you get a 14 to 6 unlicensed to licensed breakdown, so no, the adult catalog is just as diverse as the one targeting kids, but if you like historical stuff, and you don't want to create your own designs because of laziness, knock yourself out!

You're forgetting the 18+ Star Wars diorama sets.

Based on the locations that you purchased these from can I infer that you’re located in Canada? I hit up a few TRUs around Montreal and only found small QR codes. The local chapters/ indigo did have 144 in stock, they appeared to have the larger codes but they were all covered by price stickers

I am indeed, in the maritimes. My TRU had a single box with the smaller QR codes, and my Chapters had maybe one box out of three that had bigger QR codes, some of which were covered in stickers, so I just used my scale. Jay's weight guide is kind of off in that regard though, so it's only good for identifying the 3 heaviest(train kid, goatherder, vampire knight).
