VIKING VILLAGE Ideas set via Target vote
Sir Dano replied to jtooker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Can't deny that more minifigures would have been nice, but otherwise the set looks fantastic. Can't wait to get it. -

Well, looking at the image again it appears I need new glasses. My mistake. -

Yes. That's because it's this piece: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=10258 Well, looking at the image again it appears I need new glasses. My mistake. -

Kate Bishop's bow mould isn't new, it's been around for a while now. -
Any chance we could see a re-release of Barracuda Bay?

I'm perfectly fine with one adult targeted large set every year or two, I'd just like a little more variety. A faction neutral merchant ship would be real cool, for example. -

[OFFICIAL] 10320 Eldorado Fortress - Available NOW
Sir Dano replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Finished building mine today, it's a very lovely set. Main complaint is I got a white 1x1 round brick instead of a square one in the last bag, I have plenty of spares so it's an easy fix but still quite odd. Also slightly disappointed I only got two extra pairs of red epaulettes. -
I like both. I also have some custom white coats and sand green coats using chef torsos and the bellhop torsos from the Boutique Hotel.

The goat mould was introduced 12 years ago, can't say I see much difference. -

Mine's about two hours away according to the tracking. Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow. -

Got mine ordered, now comes the painful 2 week wait for them to deliver it. -

Same here, it was not fun having to wait ~3 months of back order to finally get Barracuda Bay, so I'll be ordering day one. -

I already have two goats but you're very mistaken if you think I wouldn't buy more if they were available in a set or for a reasonable price. -

I'd be fine with a lack of minifigures, my issue is with them charging almost $60 cad for shipping. -

^Not to mention the dozens of imperial fort sets that have been submitted to Ideas since Barracuda Bay was accepted showing that there's a demand for such a set. -

Wouldn't surprise me at all if we see some kind of M-Tron set with the recent introduction of these: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3486 I don't expect it to have magnets though, and I'm sure that'll be a major point of contention. -

I'll happily take more "flawed" reimaginings if they're on the same level as Eldorado Fortress. -
Scallywag Pirate appreciation thread - best Lego pirate ever (?)

I thought pirates were supposed to look as garish as possible? Personally, while that guy is great and all I much prefer classic Redbeard. -

I'd be the one complaining then. I'll take a brick built base full of fun details like treasure and caves over a raised baseplate any day. -

Designers are intentionally keeping goats out of sets to annoy us, there is simply no other answer. -

If you're insecure and need a man leading your pirates that badly then Redbeard is only like 7 bucks on bricklink. -

What a beautiful set. Only downsides are the monkey and palm tree, fortunately I have plenty of old ones of both so they're easily replaced.
