Legends of Chima 2013
Speedza-Demon replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice finds! I hope the Peacock character gets made into an actual figure, that would be very cool, and his long-neck reminds me of Pythor. I had a feeling that Skinnet and Furty didn't belong to any tribes, somehow. -
EDIT: Nevermind.

Absolutely loving the visual style, it looks just like stop-motion animation! Lego really has outdone themselves with this, I can't wait to see more.

In regards to the possible set names, could it be possible that the "Overborg" is some new form of the Overlord? The last episode left his fate ambiguous, and it would be interesting if they are both related. They sound interesting regardless, and more dragons are always welcome in my book.

I'm pretty sure that version of Rawzom is the same except for his armor, the colors are just brighter in the CG than compared to the actual figure, same with his appearance on Lego's website. He doesn't have beak printing on the current minifigure either. -

That's normal, I believe they are supposed to be bent to some degree, atleast from the ones I own. Some tend to be more bent than others, though. -
I enjoyed episode 3, and I thought it was a large step up from the other two despite being mostly filler. The characterization and voice acting were improved, Eris wasn't just a plot device this time, and the subplot with Gorzan and the flower was entertaining. The only thing that bothered me was some of the casting, Wilhurt and Eglor sounded nothing like I thought they would.

I highly doubt it. Ninjago didn't turn Garmadon good until the second season, resolving those two major plot points so early would really defeat the purpose of the entire show. I'd say we will have to wait atleast more than 10 episodes, especially the latter.

Cartoon Network has also been playing commercials for the new episode. And yes, I said episode, because apparently it's just a marathon of the first two with a new one at the end. I don't have the proper equipment to record it, though it appears that this episode will have G'Loona in it.

Legends of Chima future tribes ideas.

I personally think it would be neat if we had some Chima tribes based on mythical creatures, Dragons or Griffons could be cool. -

Has anyone else been having trouble finding the Chi Raider set? I can't seem to find it in stores anywhere. Bad luck, I guess. -
I think we need new armor pieces, the ones from Ordeal of Fire are getting pretty old now and we haven't had new ones since. Preferably armor that covers the entire bone better rather than just a side.

Did anyone else notice that on the Lion Chi Temple's box, Ewald has his name labeled as "Eris"? Was that intentional? -

I'm starting to think that some of the animals might not actually belong to a tribe and are essentially loners. You think we would have seen another Skunk or Fox by now, so I think they might just be standalone characters honestly. -

From what I can see, I think the white Wolf is a female, though I'm not sure. I'm surprised they didn't have any Rhinos or Bears showcased, are they show-exclusive? -

I think that's just the front of the Croc-Boat, sadly. -
It's not that they need them or for story reasons, it's more for the appeal of the figures. All of the other waves thus far have introduced new outfits every year, and it would be pretty disappointing if they skipped out this time around.

A bit disappointing it seems that the Ninja's may have the same outfits as the 2013 sets, but it's a bit too early to tell.

The rest of the characters seem to have the first letter of their species in their names, so I think it's most likely a fox. I doubt Lego would make such a bad pun, either. -
Well, that was pretty disappointing.

Hey everyone. I recently got Cole's Earth Driller, and I accidentally applied one of the transparent stickers really poorly, and as a result there's a large, ugly smudge underneath the sticker on the cockpit. I tried peeling it off and applying the sticker again, but it only got worse after that, giving it a very foggy appearance. Does anyone know how I could "clean" the sticker, or something along those lines? All help is appreciated!

One odd thing I noticed about the mural is that they are all pictures of Sensei Wu with different headgear. One of them has female hair (The same Edna has) for some reason, it looks pretty jarring to say the least.

Legends of Chima 2013 (Action Figures)
Speedza-Demon replied to DarkSurgeXL's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Am I the only one that feels that HF 2013 and Ninjago 2013's sets got the short end of the stick compared to Chima? Don't get me wrong, I think Chima looks great and I'm going to definitely collect them, but the Chima sets just feel like they have more thought put into them compared to HF and Ninjago this time around, especially in Hero Factory's case. Back on topic, these figures look great and I adore those heads. And since Chima has more female characters than HF, I'm interested to see how they'll pull them off! Also, making Laval mostly gold was a great idea. I wish his minifigure was gold too... -
I'm seriously impressed, the Gold Dragon looks even better in person! The backside of the robot is kind of disappointing, but it's nothing a few mods can't fix. Still a great value for such a small set.

I agree, some of the characters in this series are really adorable, especially the Lions and the Eagles. I'm not sure if that's intentional though.
