  1. Maybe you could try to put the wheels, or the two or three wheels that you use to attach it to the rail, at an angle.
  2. Here it is, i forgot to turn off the radio. I didn't looked after the colors. I tried to make it as small as possible, if you haven't got some of the parts, tell me which ones, and i'll try to come with a solution. I think you can put it on a baseplate fairly easy, if you need any help with that, i'll be there.
  3. That part is still in production. You can get it from bricklink: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=48452cx1 It will cost you about 2-3$ , without shipment. You can see in the link in which sets it is used in. When i've got time , i'll build it for you, so you can copy it or use something from it. About the picture you posted. You can use a linear actuator, to tilt it. You can also use one of the bigger gears (16 tooth, 24 tooth, 36 tooth or 40 tooth), and put one of the "arms" on a hole that is not the center hole. By turning the centre hole, it will lift. Is it going to be that scale, or do you want it to be bigger?
  4. It sounds like you want to build something like this: It would be hard , to combine the tilting with the turning (when you don't want the driver gears to move), because when you turn your platform , there will possibly be a very small increase/decrease of the tilting angle. solution to your problem: From your description it looks like you need to use a large turntable (google: lego large turntable , if you don't know what i mean). Put a gear next to it for the turning. Then put an axle through the middle of the turntable, to make a tilting mechanism (a good way to create a tilting mechanism, is posted above). with this method , you will have the problem listed above, but I can't think of a way, that doesn't have this problem. Maybe you should say what you want to use it for.
  5. I'll change the adress soon. You can also modify the body for this, by not filling the cabin with interior parts, you can move the batterybox in and out of the cabin. It doesn't quite look like a truck then, but when it raises it's trialling abilities, I would be more than satisfied. @88high , I've never built a trial truck before, and I'm not planning on buying the parts for a trail truck. I'm not going to develop this any further soon. I just wanted to post this to help some truck triallers, and I hope see it used in a trial truck in the future.
  6. Hello fellow builders, I've been working on a concept, and i think it works. This system could be very usefull in truck trailling. It requiers another channel, but it can be a fun addition to use with obstacles.
  7. I've already got myself a contract for 1 year here in the netherlands. So if I choose a hosting provider in asia, i'll lose the 6 euros I paid to keep my site online.
  8. Bricktechniccreations.com , sounds good I'll look for another name, and beg my hostingprovider for another domain name. Is it possible to create a site called blegotechniccreations.com or do you get problems with lego too this way?
  9. I've created a site lately called: www.legotechniccreations.com On this site I post my own constructions/mechanisms, but i'm interested in posting creations/articles from other people as well. This way i hope to get a large databese with mechanisms, tips, tricks, creations and so on, to use in my/your upcoming creations. So if you created a mechanism that is very interesting, or if you have build a car, and you think that you can write an article about it, reply to this post, or put a comment in the 'user created content' post on legotechniccreations.com. When I think it's interesting , I'll ask you to write an article (doesn't have to be big) about it.
  10. That thing runs really smooth. It would be cool if you make a prolonged version of it, with 10 wheels.
  11. I'll put another sound track under it. here is the clip again:
  12. Nice story, very good to read. Maybe you could build a lego construction that 'actually' helps you with your builds. For example a machine that connects 2 parts.
  13. Yeah i'm working on a tank. I created some big ammo firing mechanisms, but it will take some time till the tank is finished. Here is a teaser if you're interested:
  14. I've created a simple modification for the excavators arm. It's a hand to grab and turn things. I've also created some instructions. It's very simple, but very effective.
