I was thinking that, and one could only hope that he has absolutely no idea what he's talking about, or how much it is worth.

A friend of ours that knows the guy told us that it runs good, but unfortunately has no title. I know where to get car titles from, but if we could get one for it is another story. I sure hope so.

Thanks Christian! I love all three of these already, more so than some of the coming January sets. I however do not exactly like the idea of the way of how Lotso reminds me of the Trolls from the Castle theme, but that opinion is subject to change. Odd, looks like they are exploring names from Star Wars, Western sets, and City. Who is he anyway? When we first saw that a few of us (including myself) were pretty sure that was indeed the train, and that it even appeared to have a Lego logo on the back of the engine, and now we are sure it is the train. I wonder if that is the logo on it or not though...

I don't mean to walk in talking about nothing here, but I just felt like saying I 'officially' have a vehicle (truck). It's a 1988 GMC. My father has had it since 1989, I think, and asked me if I wanted it. Still looking for a reasonably priced Hot Rod/Muscle Car though. I may have found a 70's Cuda (Plymouth) for less than $10,000 that a guy took ownership of because somebody was not paying rent. I would just die if the Cuda had a matching numbers Hemi in it, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't even have a Hemi. Still, if it runs good, under 10,000 would be a good buy for it. Not hardly any rust.

I just saw that in the first post a few seconds ago. I apparently only saw Fumoffu's picture the first time, not the one Whung brought us. Thanks though.

I still don't understand why the Swamp Speeder picture has the Tattooine (however you spell that) background. Since when did desert planets have swamps? I done it several times, and it has never damaged any printing at all.

Is that trans-1x1 supposed to go on the back of the Ice Cutter?
-
So? How does that matter? (See below quote) Unless you have a MOC or two that looks like crap without them, and you are just dying to use them, then I would suggest keeping them MISB.

The Penguin's Batman Minifigures. )
The Who replied to The Penguin's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Even though I have never heard of any of these new ones, you have again done a great job at making them. I really like Mr. Toad, there. In the second drawing of him, is that Dog Tags in his hand? -
Yes, that is a new expression on Indy's face.

If you spray the head with Axe Bodyspray, the sharpie wipes right off. I thought the chinstrap was supposed to be connected on the Rebel headgear in the battlepack. It looks kind of weird with the space there.

Lego Toy Story set out in US Reviews of 7595 and 7590
The Who replied to Pugsly's topic in LEGO Licensed
That's good to know that he comes apart. We knew they were the same, but wanted to know whether or not they were glued together, since he came assembled. No, it's the same with old Fabuland figs, the hat is not really made to come off on this particular fig. It suits Woody best, so that's who wears it. Although it wood be nice, for remaking movie scenes where the hat is off. -
Hopefully, if we have to rely on a catalogue, they will send them soon. Only seeing one set from a new theme really makes you wonder if the rest of the theme can be judged/predicted by this set.
-
So, there still isn't any more news or new pics for PoP yet?
-
Thanks Pugsly, they look great! I didn't think Lego still usd that rocket-bottom cylinder piece with the fins on it. Those Army Men look like they have the same torso design as the Indy Belloq minifig, but in green. If the Woody comes assembled, does he come apart?
-
I'm guessing those will go in a seperate space in the index labeled as 'Contests,' (or something like that) or will they just be mixed in with all of the other MOCs and categories?
-
You're what? Thanks!Apparently the TIE Pilot has a black head, according to the Brickshelf pictures. I think I'll buy it just for that fig. So much better than the other TIE Pilots.
-
That must be the Army Men battlepack-type set.I'm hoping we will see these a week or two before January here in the US, even though it doesn't really make a difference.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
The Who replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
One can only hope for a good Bluecoat... Anyway, seeing the diversity in these, plus things like the Indian, I say that we will very likely see at least one Pirate and one Castle fig. Are you asking if the first run stops when the secand starts? I think it does, from my understanding of things. -
That made my day. Both of these two look good as well, one more than the other... And I take it that is Brickforge's take on an AK that she's holding? The tone of the painting is a little light, but wood is never the same color.
-
If the quality is any good, I'll look into it.I especially like Oxford because of the M1 helmets, as seen on Brickarms figs. I know Best-Lock has a few sets I've seen in TRU with similar helmets, but many people have said Best-Lock is terrible quality plastic.

Well, that stinks. I wish somebody like Toys 'R' Us sold them, which is not likely at all to happen.

Due to recommendation, I guess I'll explain my names here. booger540: When I was about 10 years old and created my email, I was absolutely bored out of my mind and could not think of anything else to use as a name. That sort of stuck ever since (Until now, of course). The Who: This one makes a little more sense, I think. Seeing the name booger540 made me feel as if I looked immature, so I wanted to change it, but again stumbled upon the problem of deciding on a good name. I was thinking of bands I like (The Who, for example), and AC/DC's song "Who Made Who," when I thought of this name. Plus my friend and I used to always talk about The Who in conversations where most of the questions asked where 'Who?' and 'What were they called again?' Ah, good times, good times...

I don't mean to dig this up, but does anybody know if Oxford sets are sold anywhere in the USA? I really like some of the sets, plus need some of the parts, and would rather not pay the shipping from eBay.
