Random things about me and about you.

Well, I have thought of a few more things.-I usually try to be a simple person, but the perfectonist in me doesn't always allow that. -If you ever see me in public, it may be obvious who I am because I like to wear U.S. Army uniforms, both modern and vintage. -I have a red 1988 GMC Truck, and am looking for a classic Muscle car. -Car Shows and Gun Shows always find their place on my calendars. -I actually listen to vinyl records, the only one I have that is for display is a 1969 Led Zeppelin II that is framed and on my wall. -Even though my name is Damian, I am called by so many different nicknames that very few people actually call me Damian. -I am basically the opposite of a vegetarian. Almost all of my favorite foods are meat. Good luck! If you have been together this long, she will more than likely say yes. Would you ever actually wear that helmet?

The Ostrich Races looks like it uses the same principles for a two person race as all others sine the original Castle line in the 1980's. Vehicle or animal, two minifigs, some little stands or barriers, and a weapons/armor rack.

    PlayStation general discussion

I'm also getting a PS3 for Christmas (Well, I'm only 99% sure ) and I am wondering about a few games. I heard Nascar '09 was pretty good, and very realistic, and I think I have played Flatout (?) and it was fun. I like racing games, but I prefer that they are excessively detailed, or show damage on vehicles. Shooting games are fun, just not entirely fictional. I like those based off of WWII, and things like that. Any particular advice? Lego games are always fun, so I buy them anyway. I already know I got the promotional Guitar Hero: Van Halen in the mail, which came from the purchase of Guitar Hero 5, that I was not supposed to know about. I just can't play it yet.

I tried those earlier, and neither worked. I guess I need to do that when you are logged on? Um...In simpler terms, please? That does sound right, though, that it is not updating the page and is instead loading from memory.

    The D-Day Project

Really looking forward to this, it sounds like there are going to be a lot of interesting things in this. I would reccomend, as far as some minor details, buying Lego bicycles and painting them green to use here, because I am pretty sure I have seen pictures of U.S. soldiers and paratroopers riding bikes onto the shores of Normandy. (Why? I'm not sure. It is sand, after all.) The Oxford ones? Who?

    EB Tech Help

Well, I don't really have a specific name for it, but my computer seems to be having some minor problems when I post. Making the post is fine, that's not the problem. 1--I click the button to submit the post, and it seems fine. 2--I go back to the Forums homepage. 3--It still says the person before me was the last to post, when I just did. Example: I just replyed to Forresto in the 2010 SW Pictures and Rumors Thread, and on the 'Eurobricks Forums' page, it still says Forresto was the last one to post. This is getting pretty annoying for me, so does anybody know if there is something I can do about it? Refreshing the page doesn't work.

    Wasn't it DoubleT and XWingYoda?

    Prince of Persia 2010

Thanks AlaPo! These look pretty good, so far. A lot of the new parts look to be extremely useful in other themes, plus additionally getting more dark orange. (Last set I bought with dark orange in it was the Sandcrawler.) I mean that looks like the basic same design as Indy's face with a new expression. It doesn't really matter anyways. I count two, and last time I checked, a couple was two, and a few was three. So this is actually less than a few...

    Star Wars battlefront 3 pending

Okay, that's your opinion unless you can directly prove that you are right, and so far, you haven't. Why would it do either if it's not real? Exactly, you just admitted that it could be real, and by doing so are counteracting what you just said.
  10. Can you link to a source? I never heard anything official, and I usually keep up to date on things like this.

    LEGOworld Copenhagen 2010

I don't plan on coming to any events, but I was wondering, is Copenhagen actually a place? Country, City, Continent, Town...? Last time I checked, you could buy cans of Copenhagen at gas stations. (Dip)

So, aside from the eyes, does Old Ben have a new face, or is it the same as on the Death Star and Falcon?

    Star Wars battlefront 3 pending

I'm looking forward to this. I'm not completely confident in the game coming out, but I am hoping for it on PS3. I love Battlefront games, and wonder what all might be in the game.

REVIEW: 7595 Army Men on Patrol

That yellow one actually looks pretty good, for it to be 100% Lego parts.I absolutely have to get at least five of these for the figs now, and all those green bricks will also be useful in MOCs. Great review, you really provided all of the details we need to determine our opinions on this set.

    Car Talk

Well, I was only a little bit right about that, it turned out to be a 1972 Dodge Challenger, which is practically the exact same car. I still wanted it. When I said less than 10,000, that mean't it could have been anywhere between $2,000 and $8,000, until he confirmed it. Right. The day before we called the guy, he just had to go and list it on Craigslist, saying "Runs great, decent body with almost no rust, $5,000 OBO and must sell this week." We called him the next day, and he already sold it. I wanted to cry.
  17. There acually looks like it is one big box holding several small bags, with a strip of cardboard stapled/glued to the top of it so they can hand on shelves. I hope we can buy those big boxes, with all of the bags in the box.

Random things about me and about you.

Well, um... I'm Damian. --I have always been bad at introductions (Could you tell? ) --Most of my friends are what we call rednecks, and I tend to speak better English than them. --I love the U.S. Military, and International Military History from 1900 to Modern. --Surveys and things always tell me I would make a great architect, but I actually want a job in Demolition. --I really like learning, just not in school. --Usually, I am better at doing things whn I am not required to. --I love music, and primarily because I grew up around it. My taste has changed a little though. --I can play many sports good, but I don't play on 'official' teams because I don't really like to get that far into those kinds of things. --Aside from Lego, I collect War antiques, from both World Wars, Vietnam and Korean eras. --Many people tell me I'm shy and don't talk much, which apparently is why I express myself by typing things, like this. --And I live in South Carolina. I might post something else if I can think of any.

Exactly where did you hear the POC was with Lego now? That's only been what people have hoped for, as far as I have read/heard.

Quoting myself so these links are on a closer page. If you don't want to spend money on Lego sets, why are you here? It certainly isn't free, and people usually spend money on things they like. That's right.

    New Eyes!

I voted for the honest, but true option of "I could care less." From the distance I look at my Lego sets and MOCs anyway, it makes close to no difference to me. Fleshies and yellows, on the other hand, are a whole other non-discriminating story.....

  23. Well, since I do like Pirate MOCs, even if I don't post about them, I'll go ahead and vote (again). Wampa Cave. I love it. That Wampa looks pretty good. Plo's Fighter. Also good, don't plan on getting it though. Grievous's Fighter. Ship looks too similar to the not-so-old one, but I'll buy it for those figs. Palpatine's Shuttle. Meh, could be better, like if it was entirely tiled. Need that skin-showing Vader though. Slave I Boba Fett, Han, Bossk, and a white box representing solo. Nice. Looks like I no longer need my custom Fett shoulder pad. I also see Fett is looking to his right with the helmet, which means it is seperate from the pack, and that's a bley antennae (spelling?) on his helmet, plus new blaster rifles. Clone Turbo Tank. Wasting enough money as it is, might as well get this one too. Mainly for Aayla and Cad Bane though, especially his new (?) hat. EDIT: Slave I link didn't work. Fixed it.
