    Indy 2009 Discussion Thread

I do hope everybody here realizes that this is theindy 09 thread, not the bruce/doc ock head-thread.

Are the chase and flying wing sets the only 09 indy's we know about so far?

That list is terrible news for me. Why? Because.... 1. I want it all. 2. It sounds expensive. 3. Already got ucs falcon. 4. Low on money. And 5. Knowing me, I'll end up buying bricklink parts to add the finishing touch...hmm....that should be another couple hundred dollars.

    Vader's Red Helmet

If it is a soft cloth cape, then no. They come with viking and castle stuff and star wars royal guards.

    Future Star Wars Sets

couldn't have said it better myself. Anyway, I would love an ewok army, a gungan army, a scout trooper army, and any other lego sw armies you can possibly imagine--even a lightsaber army would do just fine....(they'd win)

    Vader's Red Helmet

Oh, thanks. I looked on bricklink, but didn't find them the first time. I haven't seen them in any sets either. (Got them at the ''build-a-fig'' thing in the Florida store)

I really hope we get Palpatine's arrest, although I really could use an Ackbar fig. It would also be nice to get a new Han fig that didn't wear a fedora and carry a bullwhip.

    Vader's Red Helmet

I have a pair of standard goggles for a minifig, but in trans-medium blue. Wouldn't that be pretty rare?

Even though there are uncountable numbers of flaws there, these sets are so awesome. I can't wait for the final pictures of the flying wing, which I think those wings are a new brick... Kind of hope willie loses her job as a royal guard and gets herself some new clothes! Also wonder if tlg will even put a red stripe on the wonderous wing.

I am really looking forward to that solar sailor, especially since it includes dooku. And isn't the solar sailor basically the same vehicle as the old geonosian fighter from like 2002?

    2008 Picture thread

These piks are awesome, but I see just three major problems: 1-Mace needs a new face. 2-Yoda/Mace have that same old obi wan torso--need a new one!! 3-No Whorm or Dooku?? Sure hope them and tuan tuans are in other sets.

Yes, we really could use a link-or at least I could really use one. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see the original list. And by the way, is lego seriously considering pirates in 09? I wonder if they would be flesh tone... EDIT: I only meant that they should make Dooku's beard as part of the hood.
  13. The Who

    2008 Picture thread

I just thought about lego making Dooku's beard and how they would do that. It would seem unlikely, but what if they made the beard as part of the hood? Although they would have to make a new mold/cast for it...

Thanks for the pics. And as far as making a minifig of him, they might make a head similar to the geonosians-That way it would kind of hang over the neck. Or they could do something like watto, gomorrean(spelling?) guards, or chewbacca, for example.

    2008 Picture thread

I have read all through this thread and can find nothing other than a link that doesn't work that explains who this general whorm loathsome guy is. Can somebody please post a picture of him or something?

ANYWAY-Does anybody have some clue as to who the possible sith in the aat is? Like some EU sith or something?

Somewhere, I remember LEGO saying that minifigs are more expensive to make than bricks, and in this case, there are multiple new fig parts (I think). So, if you add 2 and 2, you get about $300-USD

    Comic-Con 2008 Set!

the set is awesome...but i dont think i'll take a flight to san deigo or wherever to spend 75 bucks to save shipping and handling.......

It's lego's posters like this that make you want to go wipe out both toys'r'us and your wallet...

Did Lego skip Ep. I ??

I hope i am not the only one to notice this, but it seems Lego only made 3 episode 1 sets before moving on. I really hope that there will be more sets coming, because i could name a billion awesome things in episode 1 that would make great lego sets. for example, watto's junkyard, MOS ESPA PODRACE, battle of naboo, etc. What do you think about this?

I think there should be 3 or 4 different types of battle packs; 1-Clone bp- a bunch of plain and colored clone troopers with some vehicle 2-Geonosian bp-2 plain geonosians, 1 with wings, a turret, and sand red batle droid. 3-Jedi/Sith bp- 2 jedi, 2 sith, and a geonosian arena vehicle(?) 4-I dont know, but we can always use another, right?

Indiana Jones - the Flying Wing

If you make an account on www.bricklink.com, then you can buy a bunch of parts from your country, usually for a low price. That's another thing I do, or try to trade bricks with friends. I still hope they make it a set.
