Im ready to see these dang things. I also heard Dec. 1st for the release.

True, but we havnet gotten a witch king or a sauron. no one is more important than they are villain wise.
-
I'm cool with it. I'm just really f'n happy were getting another wave. I'm way more excited about getting whatevers coming to us then what is at sdcc. I've decided to quit complaining about what we get compared to what we should have gotten. That is no way to live. I was so worried about building my minifig scale helms deep and buying uruk-hai armies that i didn't even get the whole first wave of lotr in time before they disappeared. I love the laketown soldier and sigil on the shield. Good, good things IMO are coming.

Minifigs from the LEGO Minifigure Series useful to the Pirate Theme - Series 24 - UPDATED November 2022
Durins Bane replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Then why does my opinion matter at all? I have also never understood that... Just because it is lego, why can it not be based on history? or a more learned imagination. But, then again I am the most picky person I know when it comes to building lolol I guess I didn't explain why I am voting for mine.. Judge has a really accurate wig for a fop or noble person. The hippie has a really nice hair piece because NOT all pirates wore hats. The fortune teller body makes a great wench and the hair is a nother good hollywood example of a pirate's dress. and I do not know if it counts but the brown curly hair from friends makes another good fop wig! -
same plan, but with a six pack of landsharks!

Not necessarily. the redcoats did't wear those or shakos in the golden age of piracy... -
For my next display I am building 3 sloops, and I was wondering if anyone knows any info on sloops in the first quarter of the 18th century.. colors..etc. whether or not they had cabins? gallery's? or that shad thing on the back...

Hey I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any simple sailors uniform decals or custom figs out there. I took a look through the decal index but didnt find an just wearing a workshirt or shortcoat. im looking for GAOP figs that could pass for sailors actual work wear. I work in fleshy only so, I thought I might throw that bit in aswell.

Thank you! Those are nice, but that is about 100 years after the time period i'm trying to aim for!

From my research they didn't wear the stereotypical striped shirts..

Well, let me waste 1 more post. He is a corporate Lego employee for North America. There is not that many positions here... He is not my "buddy". I even asked how it was doing compared to POTC, and the look on his face was enough. On a lighter note. I used to be upset about the not getting azog thing, but not when were lucky to have any LOTR sets at all

Not trolling, I'm posting my damn opinion until someone quits replying. I just want to leave my opinion without a thousand of YOU trolls shooting it down. Don't even reply to me please. Having one troll mold with three different face printings would not have been Too difficult for Lego to handle. They even could have used the cave troll in a different color. Think of the money they saved with reusing the old mordor ocs and just adding thongs to them. That's going to be awesome!
