You did an outstanding job! I love the barge board area, and the nose is spot on considering the packaging limitations.
I have been struggling on and off the past few months with my own F1 project, and this is an inspiration to get working on it once more.
And hey LEGO, we need a new large-scale F1 set with staggered width rims and tires. Please.

I'm very excited for this, and from what I have seen so far it ticks most of the boxes for me. It's just a no-nonsense Technic set with manual funations at a reasonable price.
Should be interesting to see all of the customizing that will inevitably happen as well.

I found S19 at Walmart tonight and was able to get a Monkey King and Explorer.
The face prints on both sides of the Monkey King head are terrible! The white is blotchy and the other details are smudged. Seeing as Walmart does not accept open LEGO, what can I do now?

This looks amazing! I love the smaller scale cars too.
LEGO should learn to put out sets like this, not like the Corvette.
-
Just stunning. Wow.
I cannot even begin to understand how a project like this takes shape, so I'm just in awe. The bare chassis alone is a work of art!

I would love to see the relationship with BMW continue by having the new S1000RR as a set. The new Harley rear tire would look great on a sport bike.

A blue bird...hmmm. A plane? A vehicle named after a bird? Or perhaps an actual bird? ?
I love leaks! Did I mention I also hate leaks?
-
Yep, definitely. I'm curious which piece they used for the disc.
After thinking it over, this could be a pretty cool set to go with my Technic bikes. It's in the same scale and $90 is not bad at all for such a large motorcycle.
-
I immediately noticed the wider rear tire as well, and cannot wait to get one for my superbike. It looks to be the same size and tread pattern as 8420 I think so hopefully it fits existing rims.
The chosen rims for this set are not that appealing to me and I would have preferred a V-Rod/Night Rod Special set instead but whatever. There's just so much gray plastic to look at whereas the real bike has chrome.

I think it's a very cool set, but I was expecting to see a price of around $150. I know it has 3,120 pieces but it really doesn't look it.
I'd love a standalone T-rex

I think it looks superb, and really wish 42030 looked this complete. Nice job!

I'm not sure if it's the right place to ask but does anyone know if anybody has downloaded/archived the building instructions stored on Google+? G+ will be shut down on 2nd of April and there are lots of BIs on it, eg. the excellent instructions from @Madoca 1977. I'm really affraid of loosing them.
I had not even thought of this! I just uploaded .zip files of Madoca's photos to my Bricksafe page, if only until a proper place can be found to store them.

Now I want this set! Brilliant job! As a New Yorker I appreciate the snow plow.

I had hoped someone would do a Technic version. Instantly recognizable; nice job!
Now if only we could get the Jimny in the U.S.

I have had success removing tampo prints with rubbing alcohol before, and Goo Gone would probably work too.

Very nice; great proportions!
After trying many times to add a working gearbox to my own superbike, I am still baffled by it. Not enough room and not enough brain power I guess. I'll have to try it with the orange selector gear sometime.

This is common on all parts that use the + axle hole, unfortunately. The plastic is too thin.
-
It's absolutely stunning indeed! To say you captured the lines would be an understatement. And, thank you for making a manual version.
-
Very well done! I too love the working fan
I appreciate the smaller off-roaders and wish LEGO would do something like this. Technic, plus system and RC.
-
I tried doing a comparison using those exact images but realized that the perspective of the side view of the actual car is off, making the front overhang appear shorter than it really is.
-
Thanks for posting the full reveal. The "official" stream was very short for some reason.
It must have been a really great experience no doubt, but I would have been quite anxious having to speed build in front of that many people while being streamed live.
The set isn't perfect but I do think it ticks most of the boxes that it needed to. The stickers though...

The front suspension is worrying

If you look at the die-cast car world, Bugatti replicas usually carry a premium. A normal AUTOart model car is around $150-$180 US, however their Veyrons and upcoming Chirons are close to $300. Even with the low end Bburago there is a 15% increase for the Bugatti license.

I don't see TLG making a Lamborghini in red either, but then again the Aventador replacement is due very soon and that could debut in red. It could also be something unexpected like the Ford GT or the new Jesko.
A McLaren seems like a perfect fit for the third Ultimate release though, and in the color seen on 42099.
