Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Since regular brown hasn't been in production since 2005(?) I'd assume the saddle will be either reddish brown or dark brown? -
DC Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
The_Creator replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Same. That is the biggest thing I want out of LEGO DC, as I buy minifigures or sets with minifigures that most closely resemble the depictions in JLU and that is really it. -
I was at the Charlotte, NC store this spring and they put the parts in the package for me, but allowed me to take whatever parts from the numbered display or from their pre-built selection, I was basically paying per part with no limits on how or what I did. Lol

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
The_Creator replied to Wardancer's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Wow! This is really exciting, maybe even some army builder potentials! -
At 5.5 cents a piece it is unbeatable as a Castle parts pack. I picked up two at Costco and plan to grab some more if they get them back in stock.
-
Huh, very interesting.
-
Really? That's cool, does anyone have a list of those, or is it just a mystery what you might find at BAM.
-
Hoping the Snow White set gets made, might give us seven unique castle-y torsos. Could be a good parts pack too.
-
I would say a lone left over, when I was at the Charlotte store this spring I got a torso from the Series 8 Thespian.

DC Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
The_Creator replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks! Yeah, I would like to get 76026 for Grodd and Captain Cold. 76034 just for Deathstroke... I spend so much money on DC sets just to get a minifigure or two, but if I bought them separate as single minifigures on Bricklink for the prices they are I may as well just buy the whole set. Lol Dr. Fate, The Question, Power Girl, Zatanna, any major character from New Genesis -

Same, sadly I went into my dark ages right before that wave came out so now I'm trying to pick up a few of the sets for the minifigures. Just got 76028 (less than MSRP in a sealed damaged box even), and been trying to get a new 76040 without paying too much. Might try and get a few others, see what minifigures I want the most. I only care about minifigures and comic/animated-based sets so this wave does literally nothing for me. Not a huge Batman fan (minus the OG DCAU version), so all these Batman themed sets don't do much for me either, and the minifigures are useless for building my LEGO DCAU-style collection. -

So would I - I'd buying anything with Dr. Fate in. Especially if the design was similar to the one used in the DCAU. -
LEGO Ideas Discussion
The_Creator replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The thought never crossed my mind for SG-1 sets, but now I really want them. Lol Considering that Man of Steel and Indiana Jones sets had real-life based military personal in uniform with weapons, even military vehicles, I don't see why SG-1 would be an issue. As Faefrost said, they could cobble together some adequate Jaffa (and other species too, tbh) weapons using Ninjago parts. All the set would really need are minifigure prints. I just didn't think SG-1 was that well-known, especially to make a LEGO set, but I guess we have a Queer Eye set so anything is possible these days. -
Epic Journey: Building a LEGO room from scratch, including walls, floor and door
The_Creator replied to Milan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Great read! Love the end result and hope to get my set-up that nice some day. One of my issues is I save my boxes so I have numerous totes of just empty boxes. Crazy to see how much work and time you have put into rented space, can't imagine doing that here in the US (if the landlord would even let you). Maybe renting is more long-term for you guys so you are not so worried about only getting like a year of benefit from all your hard work and time? -
Taken, gave a special shout-out to lack of in-house sci-fi and castle themes.

Probably due to the additional production time, the second round of 5,000 sets is already going out six months later than the first round. Hopefully the fact the set sold out worldwide in like 35 minutes, and actually sold 10,000 units, and 75% were to single unit purchases, should show the demand there is for castle sets. Fingers crossed for a 2023 castle theme, and more castle sets under the Ideas banner. Which, let's be honest Castle in the Forest should have been an Ideas set with proper printing, new minifigures, and a production run able to cover all demand.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
The_Creator replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Awesome, thanks! I assumed we couldn't purchase licensed minifigure parts but I'm very happy to be wrong. HP gets a lot of useful minifigures for "fancy" castle characters. Honestly not sure, I like to buy any parts I can that look to be workable for my castle collection. I'll probably scroll through the couple hundred results on Bricklink under "dark red torso" to see if anything pops out at me as a good fit. Thanks, that is spendy! Only plan to buy one for more variety in my castle royalty so it won't be too bad. -

What set is the green torso and dress from, and the legs on the bottom far right corner of the picture? Looks like parts I can use for castle. -

Hopefully TLG takes a hint on castle/medieval. Fingers crossed at least one gets made into a set.- 531 replies

#1. Red and white banners look terrible - why no blue and white? #2. The peasant looks like a Pirate... was hopping for more MMV or MVR torso style. VERY disappointed in that torso. #3. Not digging the yellow at all - tan or light blue would have been much better. #4. Tower on the right- is that a skeleton? #5. The build itself though looks fantastic, really like it. Gives me Joust vibes. Probably going to just purchase one though. A better peasant and tan or light blue instead of yellow and I would have gotten multiple.

DC Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
The_Creator replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm just trying to collect every DC Minifigure that looks close to the o.g. DCAU. Which surprisingly enough I've done pretty well, but a Hawkgirl would be nice that looks closer to that incarnation - and I'd really love a Dr. Fate, Zantana, and Question. However, the only way this will probably happen is another CMF wave, and given how it performed that may not happen. I just got back into LEGO early this year after a 7ish year grey ages and I've already lost faith in the DC theme. I need to snag Brainiac Attack but besides that I picked up some DC CMF and a set or two for the minifigures and I'm already not expecting to get very excited in the future for DC sets since I'm not an obsessive Batman fan and don't care about any sets or minifigures based on live-action. -
I'm really excited for that set, if I can buy it on discount I'm going to get a couple. Otherwise I'll just buy the helmets and swords separately. I'm most excited for the black helmets for a diversified new Black Falcon army (really didn't want to use silver or grey since it doesn't differentiate from my Kingdoms factions as much).

Out of curiosity what set is the torso and dress you used for Padme from?

That piece is also used in the Blacksmith set so it should be available for a while, at least when they can keep it in stock. Lol -
