LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
TrumpetKing replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I might need to call my TRU, just in case, despite living in Washington state. I may get a case, so be prepared for a box breakdown soon, if WhiteFang's review isn't up yet. Only maybe though. -
Most wanted CMF for army builder
TrumpetKing replied to AAA Brick Master's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I think one of the figures despite not being military is, believe it or not, the S5 Graduate. He actually has a lot of potential within him as he fits right into a Town/school MOCS. And say somebody doesn't want exactly the same graduates, what's wrong with a little customization once in a while? I personally am not an army builder (Just one of each for this guy) But really I don't see the need to. While I can definitely tell which ones are great to army build, I don't get several due to budgeting. However, I will admit which ones are fantastic as well. Figures such as the upcoming Conquistador, The Royal Guardm The Roman Soldier and several more exist in the CMF world. -
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't even hesitate!!!! I have had them for two days and I am already practically worshiping these figures!!!

Today I came home to..... *gasp* my package with thesev in them! My thoughts below. Archer: My personal favorite. Printing is spot-on, and he is great for parts too! Boxer: He is OK, but I would have preferred a boxer who is less similar to the S5 Boxer. Even the face is significantly similar to the other. Also, I wish the helmet could have gone down all the way on his head. Gymnast: The hair is fantastic to hasve in this color, and the printing of the lion is fantastic! Another amazing one of he group. Judo Girl: Nicto have a companion to my Karate Master, as I am a martial artist. The printing (espescially on the back ) is fantastic. Another favorite. Tennis Player: Well, at least it looks good-ish. But why anther, espescially sense this is out during the same time as S7, which also has a Tennis player. Weightlifter: Not my favorite, but an amazing improvement on the S2 weightlifter. Espescially on the face. Relay Runner: Reminds me of myself ( I did track also.). While it isn't the best of the group, it's another great addition. Swimmer: A great additin. Nice to get the swim cap, and I love the water drop details. Equestrian: Well, a very cheap way to get the Friends riding cap. This figure has geat everything, and I am prud to wkn it. Overall, I am proud to own this unique piece of history. Below is my order if preference. 1. Archer 2. Judo Girl 3. Gymnast 4. Equestrian 5. Relay Runner 6. Swimmer 7. Boxer 8. Weightlifter 9. Tennis Player

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
TrumpetKing replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Can any of the Swedish with good progress on the series give a picture of the cowgirl's back, and the cheerleader without her pompoms? Also, are there any rubbery pieces to note for feel guide? -
I know! Some people find it worth it, though. EDIT: Does anybody think they could post a review on these?

Nevermind, I've already bought a set now, so I am no longer interested in anything. I probably wasn't going to get any offers anyways

I have big news everyone! Or at least for the people in Washington State, USA. Bobakhan Toys and Collectibles in Everett, Washington has a box of these shipped from the UK! However, they are at a hefty price of $10 each. I am not getting them as they are too expensive for me, and I had ordered my set just before I found out. They are only getting one box I believe, so it is a first come first serve basis. They usually get boxes of other CMF's before other retailers, and this causes fast sellouts, so if you are willing to face the price tag, visit them ASAP. Thanks!

I really enjoy this entry! Good luck in the.contest! I think that the only thing I would have preferred was .more mixing of the minifig parts. Other than that good job!
-
I am aware of this, but I am asking if anyone is willing to recieve standard CMF prices for these, regardless of what the price is. If I get no offers I will consider that price, but I don't see a major price difference, but I am always ING to pay for shipping as a consolation.

Hello all! I am looking for a full set of 9, and would rather them sealed. If someone from the U.S. somehow has them, I will take those offers first. No matter what country it is from I am willing to pay $2.99 USD for each, and also have some CMF's for trade. PM me if you have any. Thanks!

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
TrumpetKing replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I understand what you are saying, I am just going by what I have seen as the more common "nickname" for the pilot. I meant that the warriors are usually put in the number two spot on the checklist, not that they are;i every series. -

Maybe its not intentional, but has anyone else noticed that (Save series 1 and 4) that there's a small Easter egg on thee checklists of putting a warrior or fighter of some sort on the checklist? Series 2: Spartan Series 3: WW2 Pilot Series 5: Gladiator Series 6: Highland Battler Series 7: Aztec Warrior Series 8: Conquistador I apologize for the .off topic comment, it is just something I noticed. -

Monster Fighters 2012

Interesting. I hope that's true, but I just can't believe that yet, espescially since the Lego store saying that half of Ojik's CMF list was wrong, but was right all along. -

Bizzy78, is there any way we can see the back side of the Cowgirl's hat? Also, are there any soft plastic pieces that we should watch out for as a feel guide? Edit: I know I am asking for a lot, but can we see a picture of the Cheerleader without her pompoms? Thanks. -

Or they could've used yellow legs, and only printed on boots. -
