    Collectable Minifigures: Feeling the Packets

Well, it's also possible that they just misread the question! I also almost chose "No" because I didn't read it correctly.

    Collectable Minifigures: Feeling the Packets

Of course! I even feel bad when feeling for the minifigs! (Only had the chance once recently for series 4 packs.) But (as I've read in this thread) it seems to be allowed in some stores to open the packs to find the ones you're searching for.

    MOC: Ball Maze (Labyrinth)

Wow! Great project! Just supported it on Cuusoo!

    Collectable Minifigures: Feeling the Packets

Well... That would be stealing! I thought the option meant: Opening to check, if the desired minifig is in the package and putting it back if not.
  5. I think you misread my text... I know I'm allowed to enter in the competition and I already did! I only thought, it would also be nice to be allowed to vote as long as I also entered in the competition. So: Joined after start of contest: allowed to vote only if submitted an entry Joined before the start: allowed to enter and/or vote (as before) In short: In my opinion everyone entering in the competition should also be allowed to vote.
  6. And how about allowing voting for members that joined after the start of the contest AND submitted an entry (that is not disqualified)? It would be nice to be able to vote as long as I also entered in the competition. I don't think people would join and take the effort to submit an entry just to manipulate the voting. (Of course the rules might not change for this contest... But maybe for the next? )

    Bag building

Hehe... Fun little topic! When I stumbled across the farmer, I had to try this, too. While not as difficult as the other bag builds it was my first try in this domain. BagBuild_big by Cerator at Flickr

    MOC: HaPpY EaStEr 2012 !

I love this greeting card! All those designs are great! I think I'll have to practise a little more until I can build such beautiful models.

    Lucky LEGO finds

Here in Austria (and maybe also in Germany) the chain Müller has older sets on sale. I got both the Mill Village Raid (7189) and the City of Atlantis (7985) for €40 each instead of €70!
  11. Well... They're both available here in Austria (and I'm sure in Germany also). They're also available via S@H here. Anyone knows anything about the Heroica Ganrash mini expansion? Is this something still to be released or promotional stuff (which probably will never be available to me except for eBay)?

    MOC: The Vanishing Rhinoceros

Wow! I really love this design! Both the rhinos, but also the beautiful birdies.

    MOC: SNOT and SNARL

Thanks for the link! I already read some of the Brickish issues, but not this one. BTW: Very nice MOC! I especially like the monitor speakers!
  14. No! I can imagine lizard man chasing the bunny man on the green meadow. *insertbunnyearedlegoheadhere*

Can you guess what is coming to Eurobricks?

I would really appreciate an early pic of series 8 which simultaneous starts an TLG supported series 8 minifig vignette contest. Pros: No argueing why the minifig should not be included! The winner could get something really new as soon as it's available. (Similar to your review box, but in smaller quantities. Either sealed as a surprise or a choice from a full set of 16 like in series 6). This could lure even more lurkers out of the shadows or attract new members... Cons: None that I could think of... But maybe there's even more support by TLG oncoming: Some price ideas for future (minifig?) contests: Allowing a community review of series 8. The sixteen first places of the series 7 contest each get one minifig of series 8 (as soon as that's available) to write a short review. (Other distributions would be possible (5, 5, 5, 1 or 6, 5, 4, 1 (consolation prize for the fourth ) or 3, 3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 1 and so on...) One price could be to allow to cooperate with the TLG designers on one minifig design for an upcoming series.

    MOC: Charming Shadow

Wow! Thanks for the hint! I didn't get that before. That's really amazing!

    MOC: Steak and Chips

That's brilliant! I love it! But it could be a little too crunchy, if you actually tried to eat it.
  18. Thanks for the wonderfully detailed review of the upcoming series! I really enjoyed reading it and I#m looking forward to buying some of those... or rather all of those! Just one thing: Is it confirmed that each box has the same distribution? If I were TLG I would have all minifigures produced in equal amounts and then distribute them to the boxes so that the additional 12 minifigs are different in each box. I'm thinking about getting a whole box, but I'm not sure my wife will like this idea... *impatientlywaitingforapril*

    MOC: Miami House

Wow! That's a really nice MOC. Is there real water in the pool!? Very cool!
  20. And here is my first ever entry to the Eurobricks Collectable LEGO Minifigures Series 6 Building Contest (Category A) Minifigure: Sleepyhead Theme: Town Description: Always close your windows at full moon, if you're a sleepwalker! MOC: Little Birdie

I really like this one! Sweet little birdie.
  22. Finally I've got a new idea... or rather an old idea revamped! To increase the pressure and motivation I'm now declaring to enter into the competition (category A)! BrickLink order was sent and the concept is still in my head!

    Hello from Austria!

My name is Mischa and I am from Austria. Being exposed to Lego on an everyday basis through my kids the collectible minifigures finally brought me back to Lego. I'm planning to do some MOCs and vignettes, but have still to acquire some basic bricks so I don't have to borrow too much from my kids! Main Lego interests: Collectibe Minifigures, Castle, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings Main Non-Lego interests: Raytracing, electronic Music, Boardgames and technology in general and HTML5/CSS3, JS and iOS especially
  24. Yes, well... Unfortunately the posted entry is more funny than my idea, so maybe mine wasn't that original in the first place... I have still plenty of time to do some brainstorming!
