  1. Hopefully, the winner will at least get a collection of the sets.

This is what's beginning to confuse me, and apparently a few others. As far as I can tell, there is no "winner". This is not a contest.

TLG is simply asking for ideas. You have every right to submit them, and you also have every right to hold them back. The point is simply that TLG wants to know which kind of products we, some of their consumers, would like to see. Do you want your ideas to be reality, on the shelves? That's what this is all about.

They might use multiple ideas that get sent in. They might use none. It depends how feasible our wishes are.

Not everything in life has to be a contest. :shrug_oh_well: We can do things for the prize called happiness.

*Insert other Lego product developers here*

Maybe not as the main collectible minifigures series but as a side series. A tribute to the people who bring us this plastic joy we call LEGO. Perhaps each one could come with a golden microscaled one piece mold of a famous LEGO set they've designed or that played a significant part in how LEGO evolved. and each golden micro set would sit atop a black base much like the microfigure trophy in the regular CMF series. And the packets would be golden and there's be a mini website where there was a mini history of each person with a photo alongside their corresponding minifigure.

It wouldn't really interest kids I guess but us TFOLs and AFOLs would probably get behind it.

I totally agree! I know the older range of LEGO fans could make a line like that worth it. :sweet: And I don't know if I was a strange child or what, but when I was young a series like that would've enthralled me. Then again, CMFs weren't even around back then.

  3. Middle Earth are the only "for sure" sets I will be getting. I'm torn on other themes that I normally collect, so we'll see how that goes.

I completely agree. The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings are both stunning lines. I'll be sure to get all of the sets! :moar:

  4. I don't see wreck it Ralp being a lego lisence. Seems too much like any random cgi movie...

I kind of agree...I definitely don't want a Wreck It Ralph line though. I love licensed themes (more-so than in-house themes) but I don't want TOO many lines with weirdly shaped or weirdly printed figs as a result of the CGI, like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Clone Wars.
