General Magma's LOTR Figures
purpleparadox replied to General Magma's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Your digital design looks fantastic! Do you have a blank template for minifig designs? I'd love to try my hand at making some myself. -
Beautiful landscaping as usual. Having the knight alone in the clearing while his enemies hunt for him generates the intensity of the situation.

So I was just browsing the Internet, as per usual, when I stumbled across this cool LEGO sketchbook! (Note: It's not actually made of LEGO.) I thought it was worth sharing with you guys. http://cache1.bigcartel.com/product_images/70110345/DSC_0552.jpg http://cache1.bigcartel.com/product_images/70433415/DSC_0554.jpg http://cache1.bigcartel.com/product_images/70630087/DSC_0703.jpg And here's the original site: http://mellowyellow.bigcartel.com/product/lego-book Now that'd be cool to design MOCs in! EDIT: Changed images to links because they were huge.

Not as bad as some of the ones here, but still a bit of a "D'oh!" moment: I was ordering a salad at Subway. I was on to the vegetables stage, and the employee asks "Which vegetables would you like on your salad, sir?". My first, immediate, response: "Oh, how 'bout some lettuce."

Beautiful. I especially love the map of The Shire that you built!
-
Just received my package in the mail! It's great! Thanks a million for the prize, especially the extras. I love the basket and purses/handbags. SoF was a fun experience, let's do more along that vein someday!

Alright everybody, you can read a few more details on the S.H.I.E.L.D. show here.
-
Funny, I was hoping the same thing for any yellow torsos that may come with the (potential) Modular Western Town set!
-
Beautiful. You two have moved far beyond MOCing...you're artists. First melting clone brands, then a connectionless build...what's next?
-
Sweet! This one looks a lot like a Creator set that TLG would release. My only suggestion is to maybe add something, some kind of detailing, to the upper section of the wings. (By the way, I'm supporting this. )

Legends of Chima 2013
purpleparadox replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
TLG was right...I do wonder why they didn't end Ninjago earlier! Seriously, those figs look awesome. I doubt I'll care for the game much, but these will make outstanding parts packs. -
The base you built (arranged?) is brilliant. I love the swirl of trans-purple in all that tan.
-
Unfortunately, nope, that doesn't exist. Your best bet is probably to paint a hood white.

I wish that's what it was. But no, here's the question asked, and his answer:

Is it alowed to talk about Mega Bloks over here?
purpleparadox replied to Bobskink's topic in Forum Information and Help
Oh, I hadn't realized it was just one. I thought you meant you were throwing whole sets away, save for the figures! -
We-elllllllp....I'm gonna run out of money soon!
-
Beautifully sculpted - A great tribute to Tolkien and his work.
-
Is that the fig from your SoF: Fortune Teller MOC? My only suggestion is to have grass pieces on both sides of the gorge. Right now one side looks flat while the other is healthily growing away!

LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality
purpleparadox replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Which would mean that LEGO approached at least one of the licenses with the idea - which in turn means that not all of the licenses were rejected right away! I'd love any of these CUUSOO projects as a set...I can't wait to see which one(s) makes it. -
What can I say? Outstanding, jaw-dropping, creation. There's no doubt that you're the master of airplane-building!
-
Great concerts/stages, guys! They really make me wanna try to build something like that.
-
Superbly realistic! After building 6866 Wolverine's Helicopter Showdown I wanna see Deadpool flying this. I love the rotors.
-
Hmmm...but if the continuity follows on from the first game, technically shouldn't Robin be Tim Drake? Because Nightwing is an unlockable character in the first LEGO Batman, not part of a DLC. Additionally, if the LEGO set continuity has anything to do with the game - we got Nightwing in the original Arkham Asylum...so shouldn't Robin be Tim Drake?
-
Fantastic! It's got the perfect "weird, wacky, and wonderful" vibe given off by the story. I love the rabbit...I thought he was the White rabbit in the original book, though? EDIT: I stand corrected - that's not the White Rabbit, it's the March Hare.

6866 Wolverine's Chopper Showdown. Those figs..
