LDD 4.3.5 is out
purpleparadox replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Huzzah! I'm so excited to try it. Is there any new minifig decorations? I always found those to be some of the most lacking parts of LDD. -
@Captain Nemo: Your design for The Brain is brilliant!

Happy Birthday!

Do you mean Dr. Seuss? He's the author you're probably thinking about. I'd love Dr. Seuss sets! Walter made the Greek mythology joke because the Ancient Greeks worshipped a god named Zeus.

Sweet! I'm excited for the Eagle and the red house (because it's got a dark blue roof ). -
Since the description was "for young builders" I would think it would be a Duplo princess.

Fantastic work! I love the brick-built LEGO bricks. Can they actually connect to each other?

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
purpleparadox replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
While I do like variety and want to see as many different Superheroes characters as possible - Spiderman and Batman have always been my favourites. I'm not sure how every other comicbook fan feels about that, but if most people like those two as much as I do, that certainly explains why TLG seems to be centering on them so much. Either way, I'm thrilled with what we've been getting so far! -
2013 Friends Sets - Rumours and Discussion
purpleparadox replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
Coming from a male AFOL who doesn't really love minidolls - I'm more excited for 2013's Friends sets than the ones for City! The City sets seem like the same old stuff we get every year, but Friends is introducing new and exciting ideas. I'm particularly looking forward to seeing how the collectible animal sets turn out. -
@kabel: I'm pretty much the opposite of you! I love fleshies...as for yellows, not so much. Um, yeah!
-
Great work, Captain Nemo! I love the Flash's red-streak-thingy and Gorilla Grodd's lasers.

100% Printed Star Fleet Torsos
purpleparadox replied to (Dutch)'s topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Great work! I might need to order some...much better than whatever MegaBloks will come up with for Star Trek. -
I'm guessing something along the lines of this.
-
Haha, oops.

Well, this article shows that you can at least get Kai, Cole and Lloyd for sure...I'm not positive about Jay or Zane.

Thanks for sharing that info, Wout! Your descriptions of the sets perfectly match the info "Hulk_Smash" gave us a few weeks ago. I can't wait for pictures! -

Gothmog is amazing! My vote for the next character goes to Saruman or Eowyn. -

Perfect! Thanks a billion. -
Very nice MOC, especially the trees in the background. I can only imagine what it'd be like brickbuilt...
