This is a brilliant attempt to bring Minas Tirith into a realistic model that Lego could produce. If it has not been said already I would break this into three models. With other sets to make up the rest of the battles of the book/film etc. 1.The Attack on the Gate. This is effectively the lower city wall, a battle like the Helms deep set. Including 2 defenders, Grond and 6 orcs. Aiming for a £75 to £80 price. 2. The Houses of Healing. A middle city section and the place where all the romance occurs? Faramir, Eowen, Ioreth (a city townswoman) and Beregond, as a standard Citadel guard. Aiming for a £50 to £60 price. 3. The White Tree and Palace. The upper city. Which would have Gandalf the white, Shadowfax, Peregrin the Squire and Denethor with The Palantir. Again this might need to be an £80 to £90 set. 4. A battle set with Prince Imrahil?, Theoden, Dernhelm, Merry, three horses and the Fell beast with Witch king. £40 5. An orc battle set. £12 6. A southron battle set. £12 or if they include a mumak £25. 7. Army of the Dead. 3 glow in the dark skelton horses and 4 skeleton warriors, 1 elf (Elladan/Elrohir) and Strider/Ranger of the North. I would make this £15.

This is great. Some really nice building techniques and some ideas about fishing with nets that I will be using myself.

Picture Review: #30210 LOTR Polybag

Three one rings seem to be standard issue  Just in case one falls into the river I guess. -
I love this set and the Hobbit race cart is pretty amusing too.

A gret MOC and I love the head.... Is it one of the Titans or one of the Gods?

A very good use of the Ninjago Shrine ? and Fire Temple ? I like the garden stone bird tables and the stand of Bamboo.

Even more amazing with the lights and armies. Yes I see now that I seriously underestimated the size of this model. The first official £1000 model from Lego ? if they included 50 Uruk Hai and 50 soldiers of Rohan ? It would have to be specially delivered by Lego, because nobody could lift it from the shelf of the shops.

Good loose surfacing effect. It just needs a Gollum, sneakin up behind Sam.

It would be nice to see the one ring in another poly bag. called Bilbo's Gift. Including a Bilbo figure, a fireplace and a One ring. -
I wonder whether Lego can match this model? Maybe they can help with a pile of Gold and treasure from an official set.

Very good, I look forward to seeing more...

Good details in the garden. Is this part of a bigger MOC BAGEND?

That is an interesting use of jewels as "flowers" ? although for underwater scenes this might also make a good coral. Edit Some good Palm trees and

http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=73160&view=findpost&p=1367207 A nice flat topped tree. Edit: Not particularly good, but here is a tree I put together with parts from 4 Ewok Attacks. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/337/p8180016.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/14/p8180013t.jpg/ I got them 50% off, so this has cost me £50. If I sold the figures etc. I could probably knock that down to £20. It does need some more leaf elements to really fill it out as a Tree. I would guess that the Bricklink cost for it all would be about £25.

It would be very sloppy for Lego to try and copyright a typo. For me this rules out "Legends of China." Although that would be a cool theme to have, with the increasing economic power of China and such a huge market for toys??? It would also be a shot back at the chinese Lego clones. :) So for me this seems like a possible sub-theme for Ninjago, with the pirate models etc. OR It really is a Chima Indian theme, including Aztec and other central Amerindian like creatures, buildings and maybe some conquistadors ??? ??Stepped Pyramids ??? would lego try this again when Pharoah Quest is still selling off the old stock?

That is the Grey Battery box cover? So Lego have corrected this by including a red cover for the battery box. :)

- A flower shop. Would work great as a "female minifig" pack. Minifigs: Female shopkeeper, old lady, little girl, 2x adult female customers I like this idea and think it could provide a good Modular building if Lego do not want to produce this in the style of Friends but using regular minifigs.

I have this set and like it. The mine rail tracks do go quite a long way back but the surrounding mine tunnel is missing. A few grey bricks from PAB or other sets would soon deal with this omission.

If Lego made this model only a handful of people would be able to buy them. It looks like at least £500 of lego in that model.... ? Having said, that I do think it is pretty good. I'll be borrowing a few building tips from this.

I bought this one at a good price from Amazon.es and may buy one or two more copies later in the year for more rocks gold crystals and narrow gauge mine track ... if they sets are reduced further. I would use the spare conveyor belts in my City Harbour area to load up my Freight Trains. Along with the tipper truck I like the mine railway and might extend it into the mountain with some Superheroes Funhouse tracks. Similar to the Temple of Doom mines. and plan to incorporate the mine into my mountain when I eventually build my Diorama. Possibly making it a Mine that runs into the Glittering caves of Helmsdeep or maybe the Mines of Moria? It depends on how big I can make my mountain. :) :) :)

Those are some very jungle like plant creations Angeli and some useful alien looking plant building styles.

Don't buy them full price at WHsmiths. Use a 25% off Greeting Cards voucher to get a card for £1.41 Purchase a £15 gift card at the same time for £10. So that's £11.41 so far. (Or a £3.59 saving off something when you spend that £15 gift card.) Now buy seven figures = £17.43 Use £5 off a £15 spend voucher = £12.43 (They are handing out these vouchers when you buy the Greetings card.) Now use your £15 gift card to pay for the 7 figures. Leaving £2.51 on your gift card. (Five of these add up to get 7 more figures.) Do this 5 times you pay £57.05 for 5 Gift cards worth £75 and using 6 vouchers for £30 off you have £105 to spend. So you got 42 figures for £57.05, with a bit left on one of your gift cards. Which is about £1.36 per figure.
