  1. Very popular contest for making buggies this is.. Hard it will be to choose my favourite..
  2. I agree... I guess it could be full rc similar to 8043.. I hope that the flagship this year has a bit more complexity in it's functions. The 42030 as big and impressive as it is to look at is quite basic in build and function.
  3. It's a great job to get so much out of the parts of this set 8047 I agree that your mechanisms are very tidy and it looks nice
  4. So the box on 42038 shows it has steering (front at least) for anyone still unsure.. And as for 42039 could the "B" model be better looking than the "A"?
  5. Cool I like the suspension It's very good. Also the All-Wheel steering and the jack are nice touches.
  6. Awesome switching mechanism it looks like it works really well
  7. Tidy Job.. It drives really well  ... but it does not fly well
  8. It will cost you 1 vote per Kid for instructions ahahahahahaha But seriously if there are a few people wanting them I'll make some.

  11. With the 42001 parts included your model has improved greatly in appearance
  12. Nice work The stickers for the official set work quite well with your creation.. That is a nice bonus..
  13. Hi Jim, At what time should we add our entry in the entry topic? Sorry if you already explained this I must have missed it
  14. You are doing very well.. This is a difficult set to work with.. I think if you have any other of the available small sets you could swap out some of the blue 3L friction pins for black 2L ones or 2L with bush on the end.. Maybe also find a back connector for the front so you don't have 1 red and one black I like how you have made a use for all the wheels
  15. Hi guys, Thanks for all the great comments.. I have updated the topic with better pics and info Enjoy
  16. Haha did any of you see this part of my post? I put a link to the pic as it was never intended for posting here as it is poor quality.. Thanks for the good feedback though I can assure you when the good pics come you won't be disappointed. I am still making a couple tiny changes too (wip)
  17. There is the large LA in the tipping of the tray and a small LA in the crane. See my moc pages for the extra pics and functions.. I could have used the other large LA for the tilting of the cab but it didn't suit me in the trial stage so I used a basic lever with locking mechanism
  18. I just finished an alternate but it was a 900 part set the timing could have been perfect. Great contest I will see what I can do..
  19. I think it will work similar to set 42005.
  20. Whenever I see the image for 42031 I think of my old 8868
  21. 42039... Sooooo many panels Looks ok from top view on box but a bit odd otherwise.
  22. I reckon the little dump truck is quite tidy and has the new panels so I will get that one. The arctic vehicle is quite unique I'll probably get one of those too and a Le Mans car. not sure about the rest.... Some odd colors this time that's for sure
  23. This is a beautiful looking model
  24. Wow there are some quality designs for this contest. Great work everyone 46:1 38:1 21:2 25:2 29:3 51:3 31:4 52:4
