  1. I would do as suggested, keep 8 or 10 PPtyres and sell the remaining. I have 10 pp tyres by myself and most of them are unused.
  2. i really dig the looks of this truck, nice job Only thing is that i think the roofline is a stud or so to high from the bonnet. Maybe you could build a sleeper module so you get more room for the components.
  3. I love moc's like these, with detailed chassis like your anti roll bars and such. The negative camber is indeed not really necessary as you have a buggy, but a positive caster angle should help with performance and steering like in your other cars, so it would be nice to see that here too i see you took the slower output of the RC motors, i think this is for better accelerating? or was there another reason? Great MOC and i too look forward to a video if thats possible

    Lego UCS-MOC: Doctor Who Tardis

Nice start already. I look forward to see this getting more and more developed. Will you be building the interior only or will you build the police box itself too? I suspect the first but i can only ask :)
  5. i like were this project is going, are you planning on adding an interior? keep up the good work :)
  6. really cool to see one made in technic, i followed the other threads also. Looking forward to where this awesome start is going to :)

    BAT-POD-MOD

This is an awesome moc/mod, very beautiful with all those details. It would look splendid next to my batman ucs sets, hopefully i can reverse engineer it, or are BI going to follow? ;-)
  8. I really like your wheel series, i looked some time ago on your shapeways shop but they weren't available back then. happy they are now. :)
  9. What size of Black flex axle is that on the cockpit of the helicopter? Could it be 19L?

    (WIP) USC Style Mach 5

finally, i'm looking forward to it.
  11. you're right about this, but wat part is the axle going trough it? it seems black or DBG but it must be a 3L axle. because it can't be the new-ish DBG 2L pin with 1L axle nor black 2L axle with 1L pin, or am i missing something here? tibivi
  12. I will be exposing some of my moc's there too, looking forward to seeing you guys there
  13. a really cool build with nice mechanicals and good looks; great job
  14. Hey guys I present you my FLAG semi: This is a 1:8 scale replica of the FLAG semi from the Knight Rider series. The tractor uses two motor units, two battery packs and one steering unit from the set 8675, and these are put into a technic chassis. Without the trailer it can go 25 km/h, with the trailer and the mustang (modded sheep one) in it, it’ll do around 20 km/h. With all that power the tractor alone is very fun to drive, and with the throttle control and gearbox of the RC system you actually can drift it in control. the trailer’s chassis is built with frames and lots of beams, the outer shell is just made from panels. On the inside it is heavily braced to withstand the force of all the weight at the speed. And for weight saving the trailer floor is made from beams and baseplates. It also has folding handles for easy transportation. It connects to the tractor with a manual locked fifth wheel coupling and it has an PF opening tailgate. NOTE: it is still a WIP as you will notice, but it’s for 85% done. I still need to detail the tractor (gas tanks, exhaust and lights) and take another good look at the opening mechanism of the tailgate and i still need stickers for the logos. The pictures: http://www.flickr.co...157660444542805 Hope you all like it because i already had a lot of fun driving it :p cheers
  15. I recalculated and you're indeed correct. Thanks for pointing that out Here is the pic from the underside, like jou can see, just the RC components and a technic chassis around them. Simple yet effective and strong. In the picture there is some toe out on the steering, but this happend because it's lying down, once it sits on its wheels it will disappear.
  16. Thanks all for your feedback! I will take a picture of the underside later today, totally forgot about that inside the trailer there was indeed a workshop for kitt but i didn't build that yet, as I first wanted to finish the outside and KITT itself. The dimensions of the trailer are on scale too, i think because i build the version of the tractor without the sleeper it looks like the trailer would be to high. Only the width of the trailer is a little to wide, to fit the Mustang and other big cars. Here is a picture of what i mean: I wanted to make a video when the whole project is finished but i'll try to make a short vid of it driving. The majority of the panels were already in my collection, but i had to order 150 more on Lego.com which blew a lot of the budget Cheers
  17. @Milan: I will first have to take some better pictures, but i will certainly make a topic. @nerdsforprez: I redesigned the chassis off the mustang so i could mount the RC motor unit and steering unit. For the RC were the motor unit, steering and battery unit from 8675 used, so it's still lego, and i used the wheels from the 'sunset cruiser' on the mustang. lego 8675: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?S=8675-1#T=S&O={"ii":1} Wheels: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=45793c02&idColor=77#T=C&C=77 Tibivi
  18. I would use the battery and motors of for example the 8675 Outdoor challenger. I have made a 1:8 scale Knight Rider FLAG semi (not yet published nor finished, although it has been on the Belgian Brickmania events) that can go over 20Km/h with sheepo's mustang and caterham in the trailer. It uses two of those battery packs and two of those motor units. Also i have made MOD's of Sheepo's 'stang and caterham with those and they are capable of reaching a speed off 25km/h. https://www.flickr.c...57650262095995/ Cheers Tibivi

    (WIP) USC Style Mach 5

I look forward to wip pic's of this, Do you know in what scale it will be? Is it going to have some technic features like steering or suspension? Tibivi
  20. I have a skate board with the technic label on the front and roboriders image in the back although i can't skate. I've been told you could get it for free when you purchased some roborider sets back in 2000. I got it second handed last year. EDIT: Is there someone with more info on this?
  21. I really like the lines on this car, they create such nice shapes. Also it reminds me about the purple car from the 'Cars 2' movie. This is one of those cars which shape i adore, so i'll probably reverse-engineer it. Tibivi
  22. Do i recognise my (or at least inspirationed by mine) front axle there?
  23. Superduper moc, i very much like those pimped rims. :p
