  1. I really like them, very good job modelling them i like the pikes peak version the most, for that huge rear wing
  2. I would choose the supersonic rc, it has many more parts an rare plastic wheels, plus it uses the faster output of the motors. The 8475 indeed has shock absorbers, but the rest of the parts selection is not that useful. If you also want to 'play' with them, the supersonic is much more fun to drive (but you can easily loose the light bars) and faster but the 8475 is a bit more nimble due to it's shorter wheelbase. i have two of both models and the 2 8475's are parted out.
  3. this is an awesome build so far! i like how the panels are put together to create those lines.
  4. wow that is one clean looking truck and recognizable too. I actually think the crane looks very tidy and smooth, even with those tubes. could be even better maybe with a hose system like the claw tech rig? Great job so far!
  5. Are the tilted beams for a base for the front axle which would give it caster? so that the axle itself remains simple so you can have reliable 4wd. I ask because with most Rc buggy's i've seen the caster is pulled of that way (also in some moc's of mine and eg 8675) Looking forward to the new version of your awesome G :p
  6. very ingenious technique with those pneumatic t pieces on the wishbones I look forward to the progress!
  7. Happy birthday Alasdair, you're indeed doing a great job maintaining the HoF! Have a great day
  8. i really like the body, very original use of panels, like the ones from the grille. It seems technically relatively simple, but nice build overall. is there a chance on a underbelly shot or more detailed shots of the chassis?
  9. Yes, you need the black antenna wth the yellow tip, The remote also has 3 channels, so if you have 3 remotes and 3 outdoor challengers, dirt crushers or one of the other lego RC cars, you can drive with all three at the same time on different channels, so you don't have interference.
  10. wow, those lines on the side are just gorgeous. And like others said, it has an nice speed for such a large moc. great job done!
  11. very nice build, i love that the lines flow nicely together and i really like the headlights.
  12. Again a very functional but still beautiful build, like your F40, i love it. I look forward to the instructions I normally am not attracted by construction equipment, but i really like this one.

What licensed car should be next?

I would like to see a muscle car, mainly mopar, otherwise i love a 4 door sedan or wagon (like a 72 coronet, 65 continental or 68 chevy kingswood) maybe even something like a gremlin :p For the non american cars i would like maybe a 67 alfa duetto spider, datsun 240z or toyota 2000gt. I also would love to see a line of different famous concept cars.
  14. Is there any video maybe? Also does it really drift, or just 'powerslide' because i don't really see how 2 l motors with those gears and wheels will drift, second you also do have a diff. but on the other hand, it seems like a lightweight moc so that is an advantage.
  15. i like it. you can recognise it as an impreza plus you implemented some suspension, which at this scale is nice to see. But is there any info like how does it drive or behave, and what motors did you use, i only see the servo, l motors or maybe RC buggy motors for propulsion?
  16. i do that too all the time, mostly with modular technic sets like the 8466 or like jorgeopesi's F40 or even some brick built sets like the tumbler and VW bug. Then i disassemble the body and chassis in sections and built it again several times. The newer sets i didn't enjoy as much actually (from 2013 and up) but the crane of the arocs was oddly satisfying though.
  17. I made this one some years ago and posted it here in the axle thread, maybe you can look over there for inspiration. http://www.flickr.co...336353/sizes/c/ it has double wishbone setup, caster, kingpin inclination, ackermann steering, i think it had some negative camber and it's driven. Backside is that you have only one stud axle for the wheels happy building :)
  18. awesome built car, the design is spot on and the mechanics are top notch, especially for this scale.
  19. I hope that the camouflage decals are included, but as stickers, because otherwise the reusability of the parts is small. I actually don't mind what color it will be, but i hope it will be orange or purple.
  20. It looks absolutely perfect i think and i love the simpleness but effectiveness of the paddles, less is more. Top notch moc
  21. Indeed, plus the fact that you have no feedback from the 'remote' at all. So in my opinion this beats the purpose of Bluetooth, you can indeed go further and have better signal than IR for e.g. fast models but you can't control them properly. I still think RC is the way to go; precise proportional controls, good range and a proper remote you can handle without looking at it.
  22. I think i also read that the car was going to be orange, in the auto bild article if i remember correctly I also hope it won't have rc, just some awesome new mechanisms
  23. So what do you think we will get, non rc with lots of functions, rc drive and steering with rc gearbox, or just rc opening doors and trunk with gearbox for functions like in 8070? Which will be more likely?
  24. I really hope that the doors, hood and trunk are not RC, i still would prefer a non rc supercar with lots of cool mechanisms and features, but i think however that it will be rc drive-steering-gearbox setup. Also i think: working steering wheel paddles on the tree as gearbox indicators (maybe selector between seats as well) basic suspension doors and hood with lock maybe working lights maybe if not for gearbox 4wd/rwd OR 4wheel steering/front wheel steering with the selector between the seats 6 cyl boxer engine replica
