  1. @dathil thank you so much! It has been a busy time for me lately haha
  2. I am Jan Pennings haha
  3. Thanks! And lucky Luke you can still watch it on vtmgo rtlxl and Videoland!
  4. Hey guys and girls something a little bit off topic but I am participating in LEGOMASTERS NL/BELGIUM whoopwhoop, last Saturday was the first episode and it will be on tv every Saturday 20:00 Holland time at rtl4, I don’t know if here are Dutch or Belgium members but maybe someone will like it!!
  5. Hey guys just wanted to let you know that I’m at a better health now and am gonna start building soon, excuse me for my absence!
  6. Hey guys and girls, how is everyone doing? I am almost finished with some new freebuilds, think I can maken pictures next week! Here are some preview pictures made with my phone: A look in the future, old virgil and old Kane from my Mines free build. Work in progress by Jan Pennings, on Flickr And a drunk guy sleeping not knowing how much in danger he is: Work in progress by Jan Pennings, on Flickr
  7. Hey I am also working on some freebuilds but not exactly what you guys would think. Im working on some Mitgardion freebuilds, mitgardia in the future haha, I dont know where to post them when they are ready, here or in the space/sci-fi theme, what do you think? EDIT: here are some WIP pictures i quickly made with my mobile phone: WIP new theme by Jan Pennings, on Flickr WIP new theme by Jan Pennings, on Flickr WIP robotic creatures by Jan Pennings, on Flickr And ofcourse there have to be robotic creatures haha
  8. Nice to hear you guys like it! @Henjin_Quilones you are right about the posing of the figs, I normally try to implement them more dynamic, but now that you've mentioned it I can also see that everyone is standing there like a statue, I should pay better attention next time!
  9. Hey thanks for the comments, you guys are right that it is very chaotic, that was also a bit the thing I wanted to achieve because it is a house build by an alcoholic haha, but I should have added a over all picture, I completely forgot that! Next time I should just build a house that is made by a sober hermit hahaha. Thanks for the tips about the techniques, colours etc, nice to hear some other ideas!!
  10. Thanks for the comments, I really appreciate that! @Servertijd @zoth33 @Henjin_Quilones @mccoyed and The Last of Nergoue Thanks guys, I really enjoy building creatures! And indeed Henjin, the wings should be filled with some sort of fabric or something! @en_zoo This is the only free build which is still "whole" so maybe I can add some more pictures, because the pose is possible with this build, thanks!
  11. Thanks everyone for the great comments! @zoth33, you are right about the snow on the roof, it is way too thick and clunky, I will improve that in my next build! @Henjin_Quilones The photography is my first try at doing it my self with a white box, someone was supposed to make the pictures and edit them, but that is a long story which didnt end well haha. This is my first attempt and now I finally have PhotoShop, so the next pictures I can finally edit, thanks for the comment! @mccoyed Thanks man! Really appreciate that! @en_zoo Thanks for the great comment, I was running out of light bley plates so that is why I used dark ones on the bridge, and that is also the reason of some of the colour changes in the rock work! I really enjoy building animals, especially completetly brick built, so by trying many many many times I got a little bit of hang with it, just keep trying and use techniques you see in other animals, so you can eventually create your own style!
  12. 13. I have posted my free builds! Dwarven Mine by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Wide-winged wyvern by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Hermit's Hide-out by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Northrend Manor by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Please let me know what you think Mitgardians!
  14. Northrend Manor by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Lord McClain had a long life as a board member of many different foundations but also a high ranked member of the Mitgardian army. He deserved his retirement and bought a nice manor on the hill of Northrend Mountain. Too bad he could not enjoy it for long, a black viper wyvern was quite interested in the goats that were living on his hills. Northrend Manor by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Luckily for him, the rangers are always ready to help poor fellows Northrend Manor by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Northrend Manor by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Northrend Manor by Jan Pennings, on Flickr "Why me?!" Northrend Manor by Jan Pennings, on Flickr "Wow I caught a blue scaled carp!" Lord McClain's grandson is also quite simple, not noticing the poisonous dragon on top of the manor... Northrend Manor by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Northrend Manor by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Northrend Manor by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Northrend Manor by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Northrend Manor by Jan Pennings, on Flickr I tried to give this free build some more details, like the inside of the house, the dwarves mining gold in the mountain, the hidden armor in the mountain, the goats, the trees etc. I am very happy with this build, please let me know what you think!!
  15. Gavin had a terrible life. Or at least, he thought so. Hated by his family (maybe because he couldn't stop drinking all the wine), fired at his job (maybe because he couldn't stop drinking all the wine and he was working in a brewery), he decided to leave and went to a small island together with his brother Creedence and nephew Harry (who both had the same problem as Gavin...). Hermit's Hide-out. They thought they were being left allone there, untill a Fire Wyvern noticed the vegetables they were growing there. Hermit's Hide-out by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Hermit's Hide-out by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Gavin's shot is a bit off, maybe because he starts his day with a moonshine or two... Hermit's Hide-out by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Harry is just fishing, he is a simple boy, didnt notice that the entire house is burning down... Hermit's Hide-out by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Hermit's Hide-out by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Hermit's Hide-out by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Creedence has allways been a coward. Hermit's Hide-out by Jan Pennings, on Flickr Luckilly the rangers were in the neighborhood and saw the black smoke rising, Captain Mason to the rescue! Please let me know your comments!!
