Does anyone know who JEK-14 is? There's no mentoin of him/it/her on Wookieepedia, or anywhere else on the internet... Concerning the Grievous in the trailer, he definitely has a different face print and cape to the TCW version. Hopefully he will be in a set in 2013 or 2014. -

It sounds like it has potential, and I have always been a fan of Hoth stuff, so If this is true, I will probably pick it up at some point. At the least, it will give me the parts to make Hoth Echo Base into something good (if that's possible). -

Is the AOTC Clone helmet a new mold, or is it the TCW mold? Either way, it looks great. -
Fair point. I may have been exaggerating a LITTLE bit. Sometimes they release the perfect stuff that we want, but sometimes they don't. However, there are some things that lots of AFOLs want, but will probably never be released by TLG. But that's kind of getting off-topic. My 2014 Wave 1 will be posted in small parts throughout the next week or so: XXXXX Kashykk BP: ROTS Figs: Wookie, P2 Clone, Droids x2 Model: Dwarf Spider Droid. Price: $24 AUS XXXXX : TCW XXXXX Rebel Snowspeeder: ESB Figs: Dak Ralter, Luke Skywalker (Pilot), Snowtrooper x2 Model: Snowspeeder, E-Web Heavy Repeating Blaster Price: $40 AUS XXXXX Vulture Droid Starfighter: ROTS Figs: Unknown (Please give a suggestion!) Model: Vulture Droid Price: $40 AUS XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX Exclusive Obi-Wan's Jedi Interceptor: ROTS Figs: Obi-Wan, R4-P17, Buzz Droid x2 Model: Obi-Wan's Eta-2 Actis-Class Light Interceptor Price: $70 AUS XXXXX Exclusive TIE Bomber: ESB Figs:TIE Pilot, Stormtrooper x2, Admiral (Who Has Failed Vader for the Last Time!) Model: TIE Bomber, Asteroid x2. Price: $80 AUS I haven't seen TCW Season 5 yet, so it is kind of tricky creating TCW sets. EDIT: ESB Exclusive Added! EDIT2: More ESB Sets Added and More Detail!

@North Lego Star: It's never too early to speculate! Some of those ideas would be great. It's too bad that TLG never seem to release the stuff we really want to see... I'll be posting my own ideas ASAP!

LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors
WampaStomper replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This may be a stupid question, but how do people get their hands on the minifigs so early? Also, North Lego Star, about your comment about flick fire missiles, there is still a significant amount of obvious flick-fires in the sets, and only one or two spring loaded missiles. Don't get your hopes up about the "extinction" of the flick-fire missile anytime soon. I do agree that the spring loaded missile is making a comeback, and that it is superior to the flick-fire. -

If it was a Captain that would have been great, but it's just an ordinary Commando Droid. A Vibrosword might have been a bit better, even on the ordinary Commando Droid. EDIT: Okay, now I completely agree with you. I was viewing the pics from my iPad, so I couldn't really see the details. -

I agree with those people who say that the AOTC Clones are better than the TCW ones. Although I am a big fan of the TCW sets, the minifigs don't cut it for me. I still hope we get better pictures of Krell and the Phase 2 Clones soon, as well as a rumour list of Wave 2 sets, though. By the way, what do you all think will be the best way to get the AOTC clones: The Battle Pack or the Planet? -

WampaStomper replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
So far, I have only criticised the Yoda, so now I'll post my ideas on the sets: Clones vs Droidekas: A great BP with the new AOTC clones (is that the CW mould for the head?) and Droidekas that are well-scaled to minifigures. I'm not a fan of the speeder, but I'll still pick it up. TOR BP: I'm not a fan of TOR, really. AT-RT: It's oversized, and it has Yoda, but it's still great. I like the CW Phase II helmet. A-Wing: I'm not a big fan of A-Wings in general, but this is a good model. Z-95: I love this. Krell, a CW Phase II trooper and a pilot, all brand new moulds. Awesome. Rancor Pit: I'll get this if i can find space in my budget. The Rancor is the only special thing for me here. BARC Speeder: This is amazing for me. Phase II Rex (: and new Obi-Wan. MHC: I' getting this. 'Nuff said. Planets: Meh. -
I hope that 2013 Wave 2 has a new AT-TE Walker set with 4 of the new AOTC clones and an AOTC Commander, as well as a few droids.

IMHO i think that these sets are great (except for the "asteroid field"), but we get not enough clones and one Yoda too many in the MHC, Z-95 and AT-RT sets. I am especially excited about the Clones vs Droidekas BP and the BARC Speeder sets, though I'll still pick up all the others. -
[MOC] Buzz Droid - CBSWIII Revenge of the Sith
WampaStomper replied to dr_spock's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Clever use of the DS spheres, i have to say. It's a great model. -
Just looking at a reference image, the mortar launchers should be closer together. Also, the body is just too bulky and blocky (though the latter is harder to avoid with LEGO blocks). I think it needs a bit more revision, overall.

Am I the only one who thinks the AT-RT would have been better as a Battle Pack? It's too large IMHO. And Yoda in an AT-RT set make no sense to me. I understand the 501st trooper, and the Commando Droid and Sniper Droideka are somewhat logical RFPP, but Yoda? -
Updated: [MOC/CUUSOO] Star Wars Combineable Battlepacks
WampaStomper replied to samiam391's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I have to say, that's a clever idea. Mind you, Vader in a BP is kind of unlikely IMO. It might happen, but there are already about ten in my collection. I'd buy a four-stormtrooper BP, though. -
Having seen a certain picture of Jabba's Palace in the 2012 Rumours Thread, I have a new set idea: XXXX Rancor Pit Figs:Luke Skywalker, Gamorrean Guard, Rancor Keeper, Rancor (molded in 4 parts: Body+Legs, 2 Arms, Head - maybe with openable mouth), maybe (MAYBE) EV-9D9 and a droid. Includes: Large Rancor Pit to attach to Jabba's Palace, with gate to release/crush Rancor, a few bones lying around the area, maybe (MAYBE) a droid dungeon for EV-9D9 and random droid. Price: $80 AUS If you want me to erase (or keep) the MAYBEs, please reply.

Palpatine's Arrest is another one for my must have list. Too bad the Aussie Price will be something really ridiculous. -
I completely agree. The MOC is great, despite the fact that the 'real' ship looks bad.

How much is your SW collection worth?
WampaStomper replied to Admiral-Ackbar's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Interesting question. I don't have an exact amount, but I would say about $2500 Australian Dollars. -
This is great! It really captures the look of the film's shield generators.
-
Anyone who has the Death Star Planet Set. On the MOC: It's a very unique idea, and the result is the most accurate Death Star MOC I've ever seen (after all, it's smooth)
-
Just received my 10188 Death Star. EDIT: Just got round to building it. Half the pieces are missing.
-
This is great, especially for a MOC with no licenced pieces. The droids are brilliant, especially R5, and the Jawas are great. I like the Lars home as well. What scene are you doing next?
-
Most of it's okay, but it's meant to have two back legs and one front leg, not the other way round. If you fix that up, I think it would be a very good MOC.
