Thanks man, your reply is very appreciated.

Can someone give me a brief description of the known sets and any minifig highlights?
-
Are there already trusty rumors of the coming sets and/or leaked images?
-
Indeed, it is a huge improvement over its predecessors (unlike many other vehicles), yet some of the older versions still have some charm to themselves. Give up and join the consumer side. Sadly it does, the new AT-AT looks puny beside this guy, specially because its huge head compared to the skinny body.

Here are a couple thoughts: Ezra character seems to be developing the way that Anakin should Ezra will realize the only way to bring balance to the force, the way to destroy the sith: destroy the jedy as well How likely is that Kanan may be the blind guy on rogue one?

Whats the big deal with the tank? I would buy that set only for the troopers and on clearance.
-
I have seen the new images and they don't seem legit to me, I mean that some parts of the box like the SW are missing like if someone slightly modded the original set and replaced the figs with updated ones, or it can be a new merchandising technique by TLG to punch us in the face with something really awsome, I am not eager to buy a DS any time soon but I had hopes to see something interesting and this is just too lazy for our beloved company, far below their standards, or maybe this is the begining of a new dark age for TLG, "The Downfall of the Brick".

Am I the only one who thinks that the legs of the AT-ST are too thick? I also believe that the size is huge, it must be almost as high as the AT-AT, these size issues really bother me.

Unless it happens the same thing it happened with Kylo Ren's ship.

I actually dont like this new hair at all, the one that people has been using instead looks better:
-
Yes, it happens all the time. Thanks, it does fit amongst the walkers pretty well, I always wanted to have all official walker vehicles lined up. Do, I would be honored, its a pretty simple build. Thanks, I actually didn't like how the EU looked like, the plan was to build a smalish AT DP.
-
If an AT-DP and an AT-ST had a child it would look something like this: P1010005 by Nom Carver, en Flickr AT-PT stands for All Terrain Personal Transport and it actually existed in the EU. P1010029 by Nom Carver, en Flickr It fits a single driver very comfortably. P1010051 by Nom Carver, en Flickr Its also quite sturdy from top to bottom. P1010026 by Nom Carver, en Flickr It can swivel up and down without falling and it has the cannon mounted on a ball joint. P1010046 by Nom Carver, en Flickr The head can rotate 360 degrees without any problem. P1010038 by Nom Carver, en Flickr Yet its mobility can be improved. P1010057 by Nom Carver, en Flickr And here is a pic of the walker family. P1010113 by Nom Carver, en Flickr And they are targeting you! P1010107 by Nom Carver, en Flickr C&C are welcome, thanks for watching and here are some more pics: https://www.flickr.c...157670622959202

Thanks for the replies, at least there's still a reliable source around (SM4Sci).

Indeed, nothing else but a phony, a big fat phony, that's what we get for trusting a new comer. Back on topic, is the death star the only SW set yet to be revealed for this year?
-
The force is NOT strong with this one! I really hoped to see something about it .
-
If they bring Mace back to life (its not that I didn't like him) I promise I will renounce to SW forever (and I mean it).

Am I the only one who doesn't like these sets? the tank, the TIE, the U wing and the black ship look quite ugly to me. Plus there are no old stormtroopers, the only interesting part of it are the new rebel soldiers and the black trooper, but that is not enough to get me interested into these sets.

Regarding to the order to see the movies, I would prefer to show my kin first episode 4 and go on from there leaving anthology movies and the PT as optional for them to see if they like it and are fond to get inmersed into this universe (and to avoid them from geting sick of the franchise). My opinion about episode VII is that it will never have the nostalgia factor the original ones had (I grew up during a period of time were they were rereleased in theatres and it was quite of a big thing at the moment) but that doesn't count, the movie has some issues to me but these are just my personal thoughts: is there only one bb-8 in the whole galaxy? (seriously, a droid goes missing on the other side of the galaxy and every body seems to know about it? if it was hard to find two droids in a desert planet, it certainly would be a little harder to identify a single droid across the galaxy) was it realy a necessary character to include maz kanata? (I found it really annoying and lame, nothing but a Yoda wanabe) how in the hell could the falcon withstand so much damage? (it crashed and hit multiple objects from the very begining till the end, this makes it feel so fake) how could r2 ever know when to "wake up"? those CG creatures in Solo's ship were hideous Luke was a good pilot beforehand, but rey is good at everything at the first try, even with the lightsaber and mind control I see kylo ren as a childish character unfit for a leader of any kind Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun and will be seeing future SW releases, but I would have prefered to know that the SW franchise was over after the end of the OT (only 4,5 and 6), those movies are full of flaws and plot holes, but they were ahead of their time, however now they are quite outdated and many people would not enjoy them as much as we did, yet I think disney is just trying to milk the name and prestige that the franchise has earned instead of trying something new and many of us are not willing to fall for it. I am not trying to force my opinion on anybody but I would encourage you to be a little more tolerant towards those haters, afterall, who cares about the opinion of somebody in the internet, there will always be haters for everything, lets not be part of this ideological extremism saying that they are the monsters to be scorned.

A better Force Pike for the Emperor's Royal Guards

I am not too convinced with those pieces, they are too small and white, I would better suggest to use my solution: 11 by Nom Carver, en Flickr -

I like the Planets sets, and I miss them, even if I'm the only one
Nom Carver replied to Blondie-Wan's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You are not alone, I also realized they are pretty good, a good way to get useful figs and I would have also liked a reduced version of my collection, they are way better than the microfighters, with the planet series I was tempted to keep them together, but these new sets are just worth for the parts. -
I really like the size and shape of your fighter, but my only suggestion is to modify the cockpit area so the windshield lays horizontally, I know it wouldn't be as accurate but something looks odd because of it, however that is just my opinion, yet its an amazing build, keep them coming.

Perhaps you are tired already with all the X wings (official and MOCs) out there, however I am sharing this creation with you anyway , its an update over my "old school X wing" (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=120596&hl=wing), it has been sleekened and moded to fit with more recent designs while still being within the common scale of my colection (they are actualy not in scale), it combines the best of both designs, the latest X wing nose and the sturdiness and size of the oldest one, regarding to my "old school X wing", dont worry, its still arround and it has also been improved. 9 by Nom Carver, en Flickr 4 by Nom Carver, en Flickr The improvements are: wings have been widened sleeker nose with a similar structure to the new ones improved cannon design improved thrusters improved retractable landing gear And it still has the features of the old one: functioning s-foils two spring loaded missiles concealed in the fuselage remobvable r2 unit I know its not too much for the average awesomeness we see around here, but I am still quite pleased with the result.
