Look what I just got - Report your latest Pirate LEGO acquisitions

I just picked up Whitecap Bay 4194 marked down to $40 and the Mill 4183 for $29 at Wal-Mart. And waiting for them to reduce the price on the two ships..... :) I can't believe that Lego is dropping the POTC franchise, but I'm grateful for the bargains that are coming up -

Wow! I came to this Post from your Church one. I thought the Church was amazing, but this one - The Corner - is incredible. Fantastic floor and the piano is perfect. Good luck in the competition.

Cats and Trains don't mix! I learned this from experience this year the first time I reassembled the 4551 Crocodile Train and placed it on the track after many, many years in the Dark Ages. I connected the power controller and started the train slowly. Cool! It's moving and it looked fantastic, but without warning the cats attacked and minifigs and bricks went in all directions. Did I mention I had built the track on a table above a hardwood floor in the kitchen? I had to move the fridge and the stove to find all the pieces - they were scattered everywhere.... Now, they're oblivious to it, but just be careful the first time....

I'll give this one 666 points..... Thanks for sharing!

Excellant news! I'm just sitting here thinking how I could use it.....the possibilities are endless. -
I agree with you that most modular buildings have amazing architectural details, but this is a Parking lot. It's made of unpainted concrete in utilitarian gray, it has no design fripperies - it's purely functional, and it has red mesh 'window holes coverings'. It looks pretty much like a Parking lot does and I like it.

That's a couple of nice looking Land Rovers. You've really captured the essence of the original. Thanks for sharing!

It takes a brave person to be on the main deck when the helicopter is landing! Good work and thanks for sharing. One minor observation is that the navigation lights on the Starboard side of the boat should be Green and not the Blue you have used.

I like this a lot! Cant wait to see it in Bricks.

I'll be looking for something industrial or a warehouse. Now that would be a change in direction!

Hey Lightningtiger that picture made me spill my coffee! But seriously was a good looking MOC. Definitely captured the look and feel of a London Bus. Thanks for sharing it with us.

You definitely nailed that Art Deco theme with these good looking buildings. Well executed and the details in the Bakery and Tailors were impressive. Brick on!

Nicely done! Does this mean you going to retrofit the 1950's Aussie Street to incorporate other mechanicals? Now that sounds like a challenge.... Brick on!
