You could just buy a few of the new set, make a bigger, complete bunker and have more ewoks, rebels and scout troopers. You could buy more Stormtrooper bps if you want more of them. Just a way to overcome that problem if they don't release a giant battle.
-
How do they work, then? Why would they use blue pins rather than more suitable black or grey pins?
-
I've wanted a C-9979 for ages! I even posted a detailed description of what it could include in this thread, although it would be smaller to carry troops, not vehicles as that would mean it would have to be HUGE! I liked Rook's but it was to big for me to buy if it was an official set.

What should I get- a V-19 Torrent or a Homing Spider Droid?
ADHO15 replied to CloneCommanderDelta7's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Although I really like them both, I'd certainly get the Spider Droid over the V-19. Both have accurate designs but I was put of the V-19 because I didn't think it was worth the money. I got my Spider in Florida for effectively half price due to the low exchange rate from $ to £. You get several good figs (including a unique Fox) in the Spider Droid but only one pilot in the V-19, so the Spider's best if you like collecting figs. At the end of the day, it's completely down to which you like better. Try looking in the index for reviews to see if that helps sway you. Hope this has helped! (And hope you had a good birthday too btw. ) -
But I'm not from the US. In the UK, the Falcon is £342.49, half of which is £171.25, not £166.35 which is what it costs. That's why I said about half price and not exactly. I had noticed that. It seems like a nice feature to stop you losing the guns when you're not using them. If you look in this picture, you can see it's an ordinary rifle.
-
They're your own custom decals, then? Very nice. I see you mean that hexagon shape. The feet could be made more accurate too. I think it's a very unique vehicle that cannot be pulled off in LEGO well in any case. A very good attempt, nonetheless. I look forward to new and better pics.

That looks like a very accurate and detailed MOC. Well done. My only improvement would be to maybe extend the engines outwards by a stud at the sides to see if that looks better. They look too close to the cockpit.

10195 Republic Dropship & AT-OT Discussion
ADHO15 replied to Darth Legolas's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The dropship was in the movie. It could be seen taking the AT-TEs to Teth. I don't think the 'real' AT-OT has a rotating head, or if it's dropship-compatible, for that matter. Here's the Wookieepedia article on the AT-OT and here's the one about the dropship. -
Actually, it will have eight engines: 2 long large, 2 short large, 2 medium and 2 tiny. Here's a better picture.
-
I have seen some of them but haven't checked for new ones in a while. Thanks for reminding me Bricks.
-
Do you mean the UCS Millenium Falcon? If so, no way. 10195 is about half the price of the Falcon, in the UK anyway. As much as I'd like to be a Mod, I wasn't trying to be one in telling you off. I was simply trying to control what was being posted more than once. Twice you posted info previously posted by Future74 and myself and I was just saying to please look before you post as it gets annoying when we get every bit of info announced twice.
-
Future74 posted that earlier on this page too. Thank you for your contributions but please read the page before posting to avoid the same info being posted more than once.

The picture I posted was taken at the NY Toy Fair, the most recent LEGO announcement and display. If you look closely, you'll see that the jetpacks aren't fuel tanks and are actually detailed and are a new mould. I'm afraid several people beat you to it. (You know who you are! PMing me the second I change the pic ) Please PM me with your answers in future as it's not on topic in the 09 Pic & Rumour thread. Thanks!
-
That's kind of what I posted at the top of the page, except that picture is older and much more preliminary.
-
I'm pretty sure there is. Look here. You can distinctly see the jetpacks on both troopers. I agree with booger540. I believe the competition said that the winner would be announced in February and the set would be released in September. Thanks for joining in. I've PM'd you about it.

Yes. I bought my spider droid on holiday in Florida in late July with the AT-TE and HMP.

Because The Penguin is a big Confederacy fan and would like to tell his story from the Separatist's point of view for a change. btw. I'm still liking your comic, buddy and can't wait for the next part.

Let me be the first to say that I love that MOC. I'm very glad you decided to post it. It looks really good and detailed and it includes several memorable areas of the ship. My congratulations on a really great MOC. Also, I like your other MOCs too. You have talent for making detailed displays and I look forward to seeing more in the future. Welcome to Eurobricks by the way, as well. I wish you a long and happy time here. I think that's all!

It's a Mankvim-814 light interceptor used by the Techno Union. I disagree. I think they look nothing alike.
-
Ah, I'd count that as the first 2010 wave.
-
I have to disagree. By Autumn, TLG will have released about 20 SW sets which is average for each year. A third wave in winter would take the number up higher. Maybe if it's only a small wave.
-
I heard somewhere that the Falcon, Pirate Tank and Home One will be released later in the year.
-
I don't have the set but that's a good idea. I don't know how easy it would be to MOD the walker to fit the dropship but it would be interesting to see how it turns out. Good idea, tux. EDIT: Come to think of it, CC77 may be right. Is the AT-AT much heavier than the AT-TE?

10195 Republic Dropship & AT-OT Discussion
ADHO15 replied to Darth Legolas's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I can't really make up my mind. The dropship is perhaps better-designed but the AT-OT will be more useful to me as I prefer ground vehicles. Can all figs remain seated while the walker's being carried or do the front seats swivel to allow the head to rotate? I suppose, if they were separate sets, I would rather buy the AT-OT than the dropship as it would likely come with more clones and the dropship is too similar to the LAAT/i to be a really attractive set, in my opinion. -
Loathsome was seen commanding the Christophsis invasion in The Hidden Enemy so he must have been freed, one way or another. That'd be a set I wouldn't buy. I already have an AT-RT and Mace and there's nothing else in the set really, besides figs that aren't essential. $200 USD sounds very big for a set without much in. Just my opinion.
