I'm still kind of upset that they didn't do the Moria helmet, but I understand why they wouldn't have.

I keep throwing my money at the screen, but nothing's happening.

He's a freelance skeleton looking to make some money in a world that is prejudiced against him, on account of he's dead. Really solid build altogether, man. Great job on that staircase, and I like the use of goblets on the railing.

Swindle holds the torch high over head, looking down both corridors. "Left is fine with me, if that's where everyone else wants to go."

What would be really neat, considering the Orcs have a hair/ear piece, would be if each kind of Orc had a double-sided face. If they were to make just two of each kind of Orc (Mordor and Moria) that's still eight individual Orcs. More once you start mixing torsos and such.

My favorite part of that picture is the plate on the side of the structure that just has DECO written on it.

"Did you all miss the part where I said it might make things worse!? We have to be careful with him!"

Swindle graciously accepts the items and gold Tarn gives him, stuffing them in his robes. "Many thanks, Master Tarn. Now, then, what seems to be the problem here, Master Dak?" Swindle gets up right in Dak's face, holding the torch close enough to be uncomfortable. He stares into Dak's eyes, creating some kind of mystical weirdness in the atmosphere of the cave. "There are a number of small ways to get your memory back, Master Dak. The most likely would be to bring him back to a familiar place. Somewhere he knows so well he can walk around with his eyes closed. A friendly face he hasn't seen in a while might work too. The alternative..." Swindle steps away, turning to the rest of the group. "...would be for him to suffer a heavy blow to the head. That could just as easily make things worse, of course, so I'd say we must be very careful with Master Dak, until our mission is complete."

Speaking of Amon Hen, you know what'd be pretty neat? These guys. A smaller-scale brick built version would be kind of neat. Alternatively, they could do what they did with the CMF Statue of Liberty.

"Kghaackk....Take...take that you ruffians!" Swindle tries to kick one of the felled bandits, but loses his balance and generally embarrasses himself. "Woah...We...we did it. And not a moment too soon. How are you feeling, Master Dak?"

Yeah, what I'm hoping is that they give us sets to buy 8 Ringwraiths, and then give us a Witch King minifig. Really, the Witch King as he appeared at Minas Tirith is not a whole lot different from the standard Black Rider costume. He has that helmet (which would be TOTALLY AWESOME as a Lego element, woah man ) and he has some shoulder pads. I think a great solution would be to make a set with the Witch King on his fell beast, and include a black hood...somehow.

"Vengeance!" It seemed the fight was nearly over, and not too soon, since Swindle could feel his age catching up to him. With only one target left, he figures one last magic attack from the back row should be enough.

Read the Hobbit with him. That one at least was written as a children's book, and it'll give him his own little space in the Legendarium to occupy until he's old enough for the movies. Depending on how much he gets into the Hobbit can determine whether or not you read him the Lord of the Rings. You might want to wait a couple years for those...

My collection is rather small, and very disorganized, but since I've gotten back into Lego I've been working specifically to build up enough resources to create a big old fantasy world. I've had some small ideas here and there for a while now, mostly as a role playing setting, but as new things keep happening in terms of Lego, I must admit that my intentions change to justify my purchases. For example, while my intention has always been European fantasy (ie; Castle sets), the region I'm developing has a Middle East analogue, complete with an ancient civilization, because it was the Pharaoh's Quest sets that got me really buying Lego again. So, yeah. Definitely Lego World kind of guy.

"Vengeance!" Swindle's rage at Dak's defeat manifests itself in an explosion of purple energy. Seeing that he's taken both of the bandits by surprise, he moves to magic the Sniper from the back row again. "RAAAAAAAAA-ghk-koff, koff, khaaaagh..."

"Master Dak! No!" Swindle turns to watch his comrade thrown against the cave wall by a crossbow bolt. The sudden hit was enough to make his spell careen harmlessly away from the Sniper. In the split second before the Sniper could reload her crossbow, Swindle saw Dak slide to the floor, groaning. "Oooh, I'll have you for that!" Swindle launches another magic bolt at the Sniper, from the back row.

Speaking of giant spiders and Harry Potter, the giant spiders in Mirkwood are supposed to be much smaller than Shelob. If they were to make a set based on Mirkwood, and it came with miniature giant spiders( ), BAM, you've got yourself the makings for that entire car chase scene from Chamber of Secrets.

Swindle repeats his last action. OOC: I should have 4/6 Ether at this point, not 5.

I love the interior setup! There's a lot of clever stuff going on in this MOC. Good job! What piece is that in the top of the candle?
