I just wish I had more room for these bad boys... AT-AT's are nice, (under, under statement), but I think Crawlers blend in better with the Imperial Navy... I just wish the trends were not so parts/cost consuming... TIE's are designed to be cheap *sing*

I also agree that this MUST be Vaders call... Story lines should be fluid anyway, and if Vader makes the polite suggestion to not go that way, (Its also up to us to catch it, others wise you get a UA :-| incident); I think most of the core players understand this... Vader, would it be helpful to make a separate thread to make an official list of what you would allow? As for advice, I would keep it as low tech as possible, because as this story progresses, the new technologies themselves make great lines to follow. I sense a great group of minds here, but we all need to be patient as the story progresses... This (the allowable thread) thread should be locked by admin, and only updated as you, the Admin *vader* , would allow. Also, I have notice a lot of TIEs flying around being destroyed before we can get there... I myself have no desire to really blow up any... players ships, at least without there controlled consent... (an hour ago) Holo image: Mi lord, I have arrived, and after linking up with TIE squadron delta, have begun to intero... I mean... investigating, civilian transport manifests. Comscan delta believes a Light Freighter, the "Nova Hammer", might be carrying MPTL artillery units into this sector. I regret to inform you that the squadron lost contact with that said ship. I have taken the liberties of... dealing with the officer in charge of that mission. Failure is not an option... I will be in flight within moments.... (takes up postion behind Nova Hammer, with the five remain TIE's, and six TIE bombers... awaiting further instructions)

With all these great, or in some cases dire, thoughts about the future, I think all one needs to do is look into the past... Eurobricks is a testimony to that... topics including pirate, castle, and who can forget city. Lego and Lucas might also be in it for the money, but you need to think Legacy... something I am certain both parties are quite proud of... Even if Lego takes a slight break after 2011, the star wars line will never die, and even if it does, it's hardly sagely advice to acknowledge the talented creative artists within this site. My guess is that the license will be renewed through the live action series, (100 hrs worth), of which I sincerely believe we will see many new vehicels... And I think as Lucas works more closely with the animated series, as well as directing the live actions first season, it will re-spark his desires for even more movies... I will wager we will see some hints about these movie tie-ins in the live action series. Again, however, this is only a guess. One thing I think we often take for granted is that we fans, (if you are not, what are you doing here? :-D ), aren't always as flattering as we ought to be. None of us would be here, sharing in this love for pressed plastic, if not for his (George's) imagination. But if you look at allot of our posts, we tend to complain an awful lot. We are not all kids anymore, (if you are, sorry, but at 30 I hope I can do a little reflecting X-D ), so each time it gets harder to impress us. I know we only desire the best, and rightly so, but we should do so while remembering that Lucas/ Lego are doing there best to make us all happy. In conclusion, this line is not dead, nor will it ever die... I see many long, happy years of Lego lunacy ;-) ahead of us all. Sorry for the lengthy post, but one of the many reasons I love this site is that all of you posses such a zest for these bricks, and to me it would be a shame for any of you to bare the heartache of a star wars lego-less year... I must admit to being an OT guy, but with that admission, I would love to see an UCS Venator Class... it is by far, in my opinion, the most impressive thing in the PT... but in the old republic colors. I think they had one done up for the movies, by Eric Varszegi. I would gladly pay $300 for that... it would be a steal... and be a beautiful offset to the ISD.

Not if Lego rebuilds the top to let them slide down into place. If you watch EP II, there is a shot sequence of those missiles cycling, reloading as it were... but now that you mention it, they might be a bit large... But still, those flick-fires are large and out of place as well. Those bionicle ones would just look more... gunship like :-P

After looking back at the previous posts, I don't think that this has been posted. I don't think that this RGS splits in the center like the first one does... Also, do those panels forward of the wings on the side of the swing doors swing as well. If they do, that would force Lego to place those torrents inside behind them to show the detail in front of what might appear to be entrance doors (the round things) in front. I personally love this go around... I have three of the others, and now I might have to get rid of one so I can display this one in middle. The only addition I would suggest to Lego is that they uses the barrel flick-fire gatlin gun style missile launchers instead of the flick fire missiles on top... much more authentic.
