LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
Orange Leader replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Licensed
I looked on the dutch shop.lego.com website and I can't find the Superheroes theme. It seems that Finland and Sweden don't have this theme either and east European countries only have the Fun house. Why? -
If you looke closely between the opening of the tree, you can see a darkbrown Ewok. I have to say that It's a nice environmental piece.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Orange Leader replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The Y-Wing is €49,95 in the German LEGO shop, while in the Dutch LEGO shop it's €59,95? For Anakins Starfighter it's €5,- more. -

I'm Orange Leader and I have been a fan of LEGO Star Wars since it came out in 1999. My forum nickname is a pun on 'Red Leader' from Star Wars and one of my favourite colours happens to be orange. I like the Old Trilogy of Star Wars the most, however I have a few Clone Wars sets like the Republic Gunship. As of late, I start to like other LEGO themes as well and I want to create my own creations. I have purchased the following sets: White Cap bay, Race against time and The Burlow. I want the Wind mill village from Kingdsoms as well, but I'm afraid It's gone already. When I'm looking for sets, I'm looking for parts. At the moment I'm into creating eerie subjects with a gothic feel. I can't wait when Monster Fighters and Lord of the Rings hit stores as well. My favourite theme from my childhood has to be Aquazone. I also have some Divers sets from 1997, but Aquazone is my most favourite water theme. Although I love the ruins from the Atlantis theme. Other favourites are: Ice Planet 2003, Dragon Masters, Pirates and Wild West.

Review: 6858 - Catwoman Catcycle City Chase
Orange Leader replied to AlexScammer's topic in LEGO Licensed
Looks like a fun little set with all those accessoires. Very nice figures and parts, I certainly can use them for my MOCs. -
A funny vignette, let's hope the drunkard doesn't slip when stepping into that pile of snow with his left foot.

Glad that PotC got some more sets. I still have to buy a few sets that I want from that line and I'm glad this is not the only wave we got. End Januari to mid Februari are going to be very exciting toy footage and info days.

In Europe LEGO is also perceived as an expensive product. I don't understand that prices have risen so much either. It can be the inflation, but it's a reason I never buy from big toy stores and buy online from small shops who offer much cheaper LEGO. I consider themes like Star Wars (and probably LotR) more for teenagers and adult fans because of the pricing, even though It's not TLG's main market. It's hard to imagine that childeren can afford €120 sets from their allowance. Also sets these days seem to only hold for one to two years before they disappear from the shelves. I can remember a time when sets took three years before they got forever out of stock.

Thanks for the warm welcome, K-nut! I did not own every Dragon Master set, but I'm glad I got the castle and Majisto's tree.

[MOC] CHIBI Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike
Orange Leader replied to M<0><0<DSWIM's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Those chibi built figures look like a lot of fun to display. I like the elements you used, for example the helmets snout for a scifi keyboard plate.
