Project GC in 1:40 and 1:100
Edwin Korstanje replied to Edwin Korstanje's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks Buddy and maybe you can help me lift her. Thank you @LucyCol and i have the hole construction and oversize in my head where i my to go on with her, but maybe this will help a little. Made some progress today and fit the superstructure on the now closed deck to the stern, also made the propellers drive shafts. Finally yesterday afternoon the missing stones came in after more than 3 weeks of waiting and which were crucial to be able to continue. so I made a lot of progression on the big model last night and today. The set of the same ship also shoots up. The large model that is 1.75 meters long is a brick-eating monster and the hull weighs almost 23 kg. IMG_8261 by VFracingteam, on Flickr -

The hull of this brick eating 1,75 meter long ships gets shape and is build in one peace and must send her far away, that i have to build here extreme strong. So i made a backbone in side the ship that now can stand already more the 250 kg, without any glue. I hope that i can bring the lower deck together with the superstructure later this week. For my last project I am a lot further with the big model and hope you can quickly give an update with photos. I am also a bit further from the same ship with the construction set with the instructions that I do together with Hans Tolhuisen and we are well over half and already get a good shape. Almost all parts are almost pre-packed for the set. Here is a teaser of the set so far.? test gamechanger so far september 9th by VFracingteam, on Flickr -
This topic don't belong here in the Scale modeling topic in my mind.

Thanks for the nice comment. The bow of my last project is now taking shape and is finally going to be about 9 studs higher, so I'm not on the total height yet. You can now also see that the large model is a lot larger than the set of the same ship. IMG_7951 by VFracingteam, on Flickr IMG_7952 by VFracingteam, on Flickr -

I have started on the hull, but this ship needs also a lot of toys onboard, so here is the first toy and is a fast onboard engine waterjet rib. IMG_7935 by VFracingteam, on Flickr IMG_7934 by VFracingteam, on Flickr IMG_7940 by VFracingteam, on Flickr -

[MOC] Unimog 437
Edwin Korstanje replied to Thirdwigg's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have also a weak spot for Unimogs and you can build endless variations of it. i love your modular design and hope you try someday a firefight MOG. At my cameback from my darkage 7 years ago i started building Unimogs moc's and the firetruck i loved the most. 123_2333 1 by VFracingteam, on Flickr- 28 replies

Thanks for the kind words and here little bit less teaser. I am very glad that one option have not to work, because off the deadline is so tide and full working helicopter lift with S Brick is now off. Instead of that i sold a other extra option on de heli deck a full lighting systeem on her.?The lights on the heli deck was a lot off extra work and there is now already more than 170 LED's at the model in total.I am very happy with the result, but more important that the owner is extreme pleased with the extra option.
