Project GC in 1:40 and 1:100

Thanks buddy and also very pleased with the outcome of the GC and glad i got the real scaled drawings from the owner for the big model and for the kit. Maybe now looking back i could make some extra lines in the bow to mid sections, but building with this deadlines, i did not got the time to improve some sections of the build. The rest of the build is spot on the drawings and is between one millimeter of ore on de spot. so the client was more than pleased and can now not change one bit of a thing any more. You said that i surpassed myself, but a model is never been perfect for my feeling. Here a extra answer to your question @Jubuilder. My great buddy @JunkstyleGio makes a simple render in scale with the smaller construction kit of the GC so far and the both scales will be not fit together with the Tower bridge 10214 set. Thank you @Jubuilder for the kind words and never use software ore computers to create my builds. Only when a prototype for a construction kit is approve by the client than my great friend @JunkstyleGio makes the digital instructions from my photo steps. The smaller version is build in scale 1:100 = 70 cm long and don't know exactly in what scale the 10214 set is build. I think this is the picture what you mean. c2790a00403a04c9b876a9e6b701bc3f by VFracingteam, on Flickr

I feel the frustrations on some parts on the build for you. even i got that feelings on my own builds, but come not close at yours. time after time with your life energie and building flag models, gives me extra strenght to go on and never give up, for my creations. So please bring up all the progress my dear friend.
  4. I see that the complete side in under tension and think you can better use more plates instead of bricks. Building constructions with this size ore bigger will give you tension in the bricks and plates are lot stronger and use only bricks where needed. It wil cost you some more money, but it's not only stronger and will look at the end also better, now you have already some gaps between de bricks(tension) and adding more parts and weight on it will going not to be better.
  5. Looks great in real bricks @Stimy, but see already some tension in the bricks and plates.

First couple of weeks onboard and than the owner will take here and displayed at his office. Thanks buddy and will see you next week. After months of hard work on a model and your child has left home, now suddenly feels empty in my office and got a flashback of a movie from the past with "Honey i Shrunk the kids" in Honey i Shrunk my Lego. Thanks for the comment and your question if there is dedicated heli and can fit inside the real hanger i can confirm it's yes. The heli deck is 22 meter long with a full size elevator to fit her inside the hangar below, but can't discus all the toys onboard.

Thanks friends for all the great comment you gives me. Yesterday i have make the transport box for here and today we did the delivery. i bring my good friend @JunkstyleGio with me and we got a great tour on the real one and with all the staff got the blessing ceremony on the model. The client and his team where extreme pleased with the result and above their expectations. I cannot make the blessing ceremony pictures public, but here a the last pictures from closing the transport box from yesterday. Thanks @LucyCol for your kind and great words. Best @neonic, this ship will be use as explorer ship, but is complete build with the luxury as a Super yacht inside and also outside. 42882957_1834692039980469_932030009428672512_o[1] by VFracingteam, on Flickr The basic of the lightning system is very basic and cheap, but a lot of work. It's runs on 4,5 V and it is powerd with a usb cable to choose any adaptor to 220V, 110V ore powerbank, even solar panels is possible. At the start with this project everything must been controles with S-Bricks, but that gives a lot of bugs and did not works perfectly and discus it with the client, so all the lights are now plug and play with no extra control. I use 3mm led mini lights for work light in warm and cold white light and for the gangway i use led strips with double side tape. The most difficult part is to hidden all the wires and that's my art

After three months of hard labor she is finally ready, tomorrow only make the transport box and deliver it immediately. It contains just over 44000 stones and weighs exactly 43 kg. Now first prepare the bill for the client. And because of the deadline i have no time anymore to take studio pictures. Thank you my friend and hope that i got Monday a complete full day of sleeping and got one day to complete rest out. Thanks for the kind words, the star and port lights are making with warm white LED lights and have half less the power than bright white lights. So the result is even for me stunning and now you get the warm feeling with the trans green and red round plates.

To make it even more difficult, I was told tonight that they are already on the coming Monday and have to deliver the big model on Sunday. So my days are already long. but now do 18 hours a day and must also keep two companies running. Tonight fortunately all details such as the last lighting, railings, outside steering equipment, antennas (unfortunately the top part is not a Lego solution but had to be really diluted from the riged hose) and is made with a carbon 2mm round rod that fits in the rigid hoose , stairs to the bow floor and some formwork and shutters. Now the stern is still closing and the transport crate and Sunday is the delivery. The bow is now completely finished on both sides and still needs to close the stern and make some details as railing, stairs and handlebar and port light. From the weekend I want to make the transport box and next week is the delivery of the large model. Am well on the set of the same ship, but still has some work before it is delivered. Some Fire Trucks

I wanted only say, that you got better wrote, that i have made two LDraw creations in commission from your great design(in my mind) and not tell us the rest. what your client do with it is not your ore our problem, so please don't tell us that he wanted build it with clone brands.
  17. Edwin Korstanje

    Some Fire Trucks

Please read your own quote again. you made your design for a client for commercial use and you don't care he will build it as you know already with a clone brand. Because you already know that and why you tell us that.(do you have read Sariel post) I have personly now problems that you ore your clients work with clone brands, but you writing that you have created this two fire trucks for commercial use for client with clone brands here at EB is a not done. I am not a 100% purist and use third parts like lighting and drilling holes for the lights and also copper hard kerns for bending the riged hose, but all the parts are real Lego..

    Some Fire Trucks

You build two amazing trucks in LDD ore a other Lego program and show it to us and now you say you will build it in commission for client with a clone brand. Please never show your builds here at EB again and done with guys like you.

    Grum's Shed

Glad to here that you feel better after the struggle last weeks and great to see you got ready with the most best set ever. And it's still one of the most stunning and looking construction kits these days in my mind. This was also my last set i have build for myself some 7 years ago. Good that you back my friend.

Today the owner's agent with his assistant came to look at the big model to see the progress and go through some things for the set. they had already seen the set two months ago but the big model was not, then only some pictures of the construction and were extremely happy how everything looks and works. They were even so happy that my model in detail was even better than the model they had received from the shipyard last week, where there were a few big mistakes with all the changes the real ship had received. I am happy, the client is even happier and am a bit further and the wheelhouse has now also closed the wedding with the hull and connected to the power supply, also the bullwark is for the most part ready and started the last things to closed her. JaapTechnic has delivered the great stickers and certainly the chrome stickers are great in very thick quality, but are very difficult to stick. Thanks @pagicence and hope she is ready soon, because i build only in commission, that i have live with the rules what my clients give me to make something public. The only thing i can say that's is a former Support Superyacht Vessel that got a complete refit.
