Build your own Lego Death Star 1:1!

WHat is funny and cool is I actually had done the math on this a while back whilst my friend and I watched the original trilogy. I gathered scaling information on real life to minifigure size and then went in search of the standard listed size for the Death Star. I remember part of my estimation was like 26 football fields in Diameter

    First custom clone

I am really impressed, I actually planned on painting LEGO Flippers to look just like yours for some of my clones. I recently got supplies to make 50 Phase 1 troopers and 10 ARF's so I have some work ahead of me.

  17. Best thing I have seen is Brick Forge/ Brick Arms mono pod.
  18. He is talking about using a Lego Minifigure Hand or Robot Hand/Claw as a stock/grip for the offhand of your clone so he can hold the rifle better/realistic.

    Removing Printing?

Exactly what he said, as far as I know EVERYONE uses brasso for removal of print. For removing the specific spots your going to get something pointed with cloth or a Q-Tip or Cotton Swab, so you can saturate it in Brasso while being able to apply it to your small spots. I have done what your talking with a minifigure before to get rid of his mouth and keep facial hair, I used painters tape to cover the good design so brasso didnt get on it.
  21. Ok I made a 2nd thread to display my mini figures because I plan on putting everything Star Wars here and everything else in the other thread . Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display

Here are my customs and here is a top view of my Official Star Wars Lego figures, most can be id'd. I did'nt take the pictures and did not feel like loading SD cardi nto camera to do over ) :
  24. Pretty cool, I would not put anything on my monitor because it bobbles too much from activity in my room so they would probably fall off. I display all of my Minifigure Series 5 and my Super Heroes (Batman and Catwoman) with a few other figures on my shelf with my Boba Fett stuff. Oh and FYI you need to make sure you pictures meet the size restrictions of the forum good sir.
  25. I like these very much just like your others you have posted, I don't know if you got my message but I had asked if you had any tips for making them look so good. I've been looking for a visor for Phase II and ARC helmets.
