Soccer/Football Decals
JWSLegoMaster replied to JWSLegoMaster's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I'd love to see them! I have 2 teams, made up. One is West Lego City. The other is Lego Blast FC. I will post photos in the next comment, I have a few more details to fix. That sounds like a ton of fun, making your own team as minifigs. Can't wait to see that! Keep me posted. -

I'm a trainhead, have been for 14 years, and this is an excellent display. Well done! -
SWEET! Can't wait to start (in the morning, it's bedtime hehe)!

Awesome! I might steal this idea for use in a brickfilm. Is that okay with you?
-
Just a question, when you make armies and such, how many of you use decals? I was wondering how it would be taken by the group if I posted some I just made here? And thoughts about leg decals? Thanks!

Amazing! They look awesome! I might copy this idea !

Ok, so I have been working on this for about a week, trying decals, finding a good way to mold new pieces, and now I'm beginning to post my work. These works will become part of a Brickfilm I intend to finish by my birthday, June 7th. Remember, this is a work in progress, so all comments and inquiries will be taken into account, good or bad. Here we go! First off is my American Army. This is a photo without decals. here is one with decals here is another with decals Nazi troopers, nazi medical truck, and sherman tank next!

Dude. This is magnificent! Two thumbs I mean, claws up! Great job!

Yes, I too am curious how you make the originals? I think it's a mix of clay and the original piece yes?

I am inspired by that photograph I gotta go make a bar fight scene! This time I will resize the photograph as well as add extra photos! Thanks for the idea Jack!

[pid][/pid]198B I'm back, and this time, there will be no battle, just a rum party! Please comment and tell me what I need to do to improve. Here we go! The total scene, notice rum barrels, the old mine scaffolding and some surface beach! Sorry for this being so big, I forgot to resize, its 4000x3000... YIKES!

I see why you did this, and I thank you for the explanation, I thought it was that you disliked me, or the MOC, and tried to find something terribly wrong. And thanks for the idea of more bottles, but I am short on bottles, all I have are barrels!
-
Great work! you, like me, have interest in small detailed things! I love it!

Again, I didn't intentionally make it big, it's how it was taken, and I'm a very lazy person, so don't point out the photograph, point out the MOC itself.

The Future of Ninjago
JWSLegoMaster replied to ReZourceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Pirates vs. Ninjas? Sounds like Lego Universe to me. I do like that idea though, make 2 battle packs, Ninja and Pirate, then have a Junk and a Galleon. Yea I like that! -
A white scabbard??? This is amazing! Great work my friend! And from a photographer's standpoint, try to get all natural light (the sun, indirect lamps, etc.) out of the photo. I suggest going to space the catacombs or a cemetery at night to get a good photo! If you cant access one of those, try to keep all lamps off or take the photo in a dark room with no windows(a bathroom, a closet, a hallway) Great job though!

Thanks! I could really use this!

So I've moved my lego locations, but I have a lot of unsorted bricks. I was hoping y'all could help me out and tell me how you sort your bricks! I currently have drawers about 1ft deep and 3in high labeled 'flats', 'planks', 'bricks', '1x1,1x2,1x3', etc. I also have a jeweler's cupboard(lots of little 2in by 4in deep drawers) for little parts like studs, clips, and minifig accessories. What do you think of this and what do you use? thanks

Personally, I agree. The white backpacks fit with the white pants so well, and they also match the bandoliers on the torso, making them look like actual government military issued packs. They are also were easy to find in the old pirate sets.

[pid][/pid]198D First posted MOC, and I'm really excited to show it all to you. Here it goes! The whole scene from a bird's eye view. Firearm support from the sea. Hold on to your... erm... head! Climb the vines! Underground reinforcement tunnels A first-person view from the sea A first-person view from the cliff Thanks for viewing!

Nice! My fortress in progress looks horrible compared to this. Great work! And I love those bluecoats! They make me feel... back to basic... if you know what I mean!
