Here you go. -
Received 8114 Chameleon Hunter today - all the pieces and stickers were still there inside the factory-sealed bags, with instructions, packaged in the original box. The only difference from a brand new one was that the box was opened!

...Now I want to know what happened to Captain America's wings. Maybe they've only altered the process within the last few months. -

The reason for designing him like that is almost certainly so they can include his famous lightning bolts. Remember, LEGO can't print on the sides of the head, only for the face printing and, where it applies, printing of the back of the head. It's just the way their printing machines work. -

We'll almost certainly be getting a wave of Justice League sets based off the film when it comes out in 2015 - LEGO have the contract to the DC films and the license isn't due to expire until 2017, by which time I'm sure they'll renew it anyway. -

All seems to be working well with the exception of an error I get, shown in my screenshot here. How do I fix it? -
But that'd defeat the object of being purist!

We won't because the X-Men film rights are owned by Fox. LEGO doesn't have the Fox license so they can only make comic-based X-Men sets. -
You mean here. That's a dupe link to the Chris Eccleston story.
-
It depends on the decision of who owns the branch - my WHSmiths had a maximum of 2 per person, my friend's 3.
-
I'm not familiar with Malekith (I never read the Thor comics) but Eccleston's a great actor - I remember him from Doctor Who

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

After much consideration I think the chances of a TDKR set happening are unlikely. Think about it: LEGO have already confirmed that they will not be producing a TDKR set on IGN. This, and given that Batman's suit is grey and Gordon's in a SWAT uniform, leads me to believe that we're getting a set loosely based off TDKR instead of one directly based, much like 7888 was loosely based off TDK. -
*bump* I don't think this post is breaking revival guidelines - if it is I'm sorry, and feel free to correct me. I just didn't see another Minecraft topic to post in and wasn't sure if I should start another one. Is anyone looking forward to Minecraft 1.3, to be released in two days' time? I am - Desert and Jungle Temples, Ender Chests, and Emeralds!

Yes, but there was a different version released at the 2011 SDCC, see here. -

You've missed out TDKR Batman and Shazam. -

What it boils down to in the end is that a TDKR set is better than no TDKR sets. There's no point whining about how they chose to do one minifigure, we don't even know what the actual set looks like yet! It could even be a masterpiece. The last time I went into my local Tescos the only SH sets they had left were one Wolverine's Chopper Showdown and two Power Armour Lexs. A few weeks before that they were full up -
Ah, well, it's long since been deleted. The only drawback of a wiki is also its greatest strength - anyone can edit it. That's why people like me are around to make sure all the new info coming in daily is correct or speculation, in which case, it's removed. Back on topic though, I hope Dareth will be present in one of the new Ninjago sets for next year, and I'm also surprised that nothing at all was revealed at SDCC. Why was that, when we were told that it had an allocated day?
-
I'm part of the admin team there and I don't recall this being posted... There was a surge in Ninjago 2013 pages when the first episode of the new series came out, but most of the unsourced stuff is deleted on sight within a few minutes, and where it might be legit it's discussed heavily before coming to a decision. ...Of course, it would make a nice set if true.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes and many other LEGO games were also available on Steam so it's likely. About the Uruk-hai polybag being included in the next Sun promotion in England - that's great, though I would have liked to be able to get Frodo's Cooking Corner too.
-
The news on Gandalf the White is good, as I was going to pre-order the game anyway. It's strange that he's not intended to be included in a future set though... just like the Lex promo for LEGO Batman 2.
-
Does anyone know if there will be any more The Lord of the Rings sets after this wave? I see a possible space for something after the first part of The Hobbit is released this year (along with its respective sets), and before the second part comes out December next year.
-
Yeah... plus, Marvel kinda have their hands full right now with Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy and possibly Black Panther, all before Avengers 2. I really don't think there's space for anything else.

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread

Yes, that would be helpful. And LEGO POTC may still live, as the Voodoo Jack Sparrow set (30132) has been revealed to be part of the lineup of the Sun newspaper promotions in the UK in October (see here). -
This is correct. It also gives me hope for a possible Disney/Sony collaboration for Avengers 2!

I don't know you, but welcome back anyhow! It's also good to see someone else who likes LEGO and TF2 together. Could you give me the link to your channel?
