Nice details! I like the hatch on the sea floor and the window is nice.

Nice! Great little build. I love it! Honestly my favorite scene of the whole contest! You've painted a perfect picture here.

    [SoNE Episode VI] Junkyard Dogs

I did not check, I just assumed that it was okay. Hopefully MKJoshA can verify before the deadline?
  9. I present my 1980 Red Trans Am. It is a very sturdy build. Functions include steering via the red knob on trunk (Think 1978 948: Go-Kart), removable T-tops, and opening doors. http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// And video https://www.youtube....h?v=b_T4HSlT0PY
  10. I have tweaked the rear window area by replacing the 1x2 technic axle with a 1x3 technic axle and two spacers and moving the 1x2 ball joints towards the rear by 1 stud length. It's not perfect, but slightly better. What do you guys think? Before After With other models
  11. I present my 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo Slant Nose. I went for form over function on this build. It has opening doors and engine compartment. I followed a blue print for this model that I blew up to 155% on the copier at work. It translated to 14 studs wide by 36 studs long. I pride myself on making sturdy models (no large pieces held on by 1 stud here) and this one is no exception to my standards. I am very happy with how the Mixel ball joints worked out on the window framing, as they are fairly new pieces and I haven’t seen it done before. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
  12. Yes, I agree with you guys here. It was the one limitation I had with using the ball joints on the rear window, but I decided to stick with it anyway because I did not want to lose the integrity of the structure in that location and felt like the next alternative would have been to have one end of the rear frame unattached and basically floating. I thought the benefit of the ball joints out weighed this imperfection, as far as the overall shaping of the rear and rear side windows. I will eventually try and fix this though (maybe making the car a more traditional Porsche and removing the slant nose), as I never feel like my models are completely done. Thanks for the feedback. Forgot to include the side profile view. "]http://[/url] Thanks for your input and I agree. I will tweak that area as well, but there is always some give and take with Lego. Thanks for all the kind words guys! I'm glad you all approve!
  13. Wow, great lines on this beauty. I'm very impressed! You should enter it in the Model Team contest.
  14. Looks good. Nice job with all the angles.
  15. This car has a lot of challenging angles I'm interested to see how you take them on.
  16. It's coming together nicely. Those are some tough angles you have to manage and your solutions are great.

[SoNE VI] Fondor - Worse than War (part 2)

Nice, I love that you used real water on it. Very cool and original idea. Did you consider trying to take a picture with a sprinkler on it to simulate rain?

    [SoNE Episode VI] Felucia

No offense taken. In fact I agree with you completely. I have been lazy with my SoNE builds and have been putting just enough effort into them to convey my general idea.

Thanks for the feedback, but I don't understand what you mean by messy?

    [SoNE] II: Felucia

Nice one! I like the plants, bridge, and the cave.
  22. Thanks Guys! I'm glad you like the logo. I had some other ideas for it too, but lacked the pieces. I am going to slowly be working on a black version and will be making some improvements to things I think could be done better. That will require some brick orders though. You're right and I can easily tweak that area, although as it is I feel it gives it a strong muscle car stance / vibe.
  23. Thanks all! I used only bricks I had on hand to make it, which made the build fun and challenging. Compromises sometimes lead to good things. Bonus feature: I've included the option to add LEDs, but omitted it for the purposes of the contest. and low beams Also the build is 16 studs wide by 44 studs long.
  24. As I made my way through the depths of the ocean towards the underwater city... ...terrified that at any moment I could be eaten by a giant sea creature... ...in search of the despicable Boba Fett, all I could think was... ...I wish I’d worked harder for that promotion.
